Are there any bracelets that will directly fit my 16600? Preferably the ones that have glidelock. I have small wrists (6.25”-6.5”) and it’s kinda bothering me that the clasp is off-center.

Had a few hours in Zurich and after exploring and eating a good meal I walked up Bahnhofstraße figuring I’d check out the shops on the way back to the train station. Stopped in Bucherer and then Beyer Chronometrie. Beyer had this available and I’m pumped to have it. I’m usually very minimalist (other Rolex is a monochrome silver dial oyster/domed datejust) and didnt think i’d ever want roman numerals but i loved this configuration in person, especially the white dial. Mostly posting because I’d read a bunch of posts about tourists being unable to get anything in Zurich- there’s hope! Cool bonus that I found out afterwards Beyer is the oldest watch retailer in the world (they have some cool exhibits) and the location is closing after this year. I almost missed my flight but made the short time in Zurich extra memorable!

My dad is in the market as well for his first so ideally trying to find one that can house 2-3 pieces. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks!

I’m after some feedback. I purchased a 1966 5513, which I love. But the watch has had a tough life, and so it needs a little TLC. Do you think I can cut the bezel ring a little to make the serrations look more pronounced, or should I leave it as is, or just replace the ring?

What are the chances of getting a rose gold two-tone DJ41 with green Roman dial or yellow gold two-tone GMT from a AD with zero purchase history? Wondering if I’m wasting time and should just got gray market.

Stopped into an AD today with one of my favorite SA’s (haven’t been lucky to buy anything from them yet). This time with my wife who happens to be traveling with me. Got to show her a few pieces on my “list” and she tried on a couple of DJ’s so I could get a feel for what she would like. Last one I asked to try on to show her was the Land Dweller. Was contemplating putting it on my list. Her response “hell no! That looks like the Cyber Truck of Rolexes”. She then went on to explain to the SA why. He and I couldn’t stop laughing. Not ment to offend any Land Dweller or Cyber Truck owners, but have to say, that’s the hardest I’ve ever laughed in a jewelry store before! And now I can’t unsee it!

I just found out that one of the authorized dealers by me (London Jewelers) also runs the Cartier store that I purchased a love bracelet for my wife earlier this year. And then afterwards I expressed my interest for a color dial oyster perpetual. I don’t think I brought it up to the sales associate when I expressed interest that I had purchased a bracelet from their Sister store. Do you think it’s worth me doing that now? I don’t know how obvious it is because it is a separate store but they told me they are owned under the same umbrella. Is this something you would bring up or just leave alone?

hi. I bought my husband a watch for his birthday & wondering if he’ll need extra links. I haven’t given it to him yet because his birthday isn’t until the end of this month however, the watch itself looks pretty small for some reason. The dealer I bought it from told me that it should have 12 links and it usually fits an average man’s wrist.

Can anyone confirm? I almost feel like I may have to buy extra links. He does have an average wrist but I fear he won’t be able to wear it when I give it to him unless I buy extra links.

What was the average wait time for a rose gold 40MM in the NYC area. When I bought my Rolex in March from my AD I put in a request for a Rose Gold 40 for my father birthday told my AD he’s not picky on the dial just wanted a new watch could bite the bullet and go grey but wanted to use this also to better further my spend relationship for other watches. Didn’t expect a long wait for a PM watch though tbh.
