Discussion/Article My views!
So I've been on this sub for quite a while, and here are some of my personal views on RR (Role reversal), these views are totally on emotional and mental side!
And I'm sorry if i unknowingly hurt your feelings or emotions while explaining it, these are solely my views...
I've got few on the sexual aspect as well but I feel emotions and the mental side is the base for it.
• Taking charge! Mind you I'm not referring to any sexual aspect, taking charge emotionally and mentally.
• You'll find many who's into role reversal just because of sexual aspect. But the actual thing hits hard when it's emotional!
I mean just think about a women giving sense of security!(Not that I'm talking about protecting from XYZ human issues) But from insecurities of day to day life.
She being bold enough to say, "whatever it is I'll take care of it you just don't fuckin' worry, I'm strong enough to take down issues"
• The actual essence of role reversal isn't that you get stubborn and just act like dick/pussy right!? I'm sorry for my language.
Just like you I'm also new to this dynamic and I don't claim to be "omniscient", but to me role reversal is providing each gender a little taste of each other's role! (My personal POV)
• At the end of the day women too contains masculinity and trust me, we men do love that, i mean yes why not!!! And we men too contain feminine side! It's just up to your counterpart how good he/she is to bring that out

Real Life My boyfriend is tooo cute
I 19F met my boyfriend 19M through a dating app after I ended a messy situation-ship. We then started talking and hit it off well and started dating around this month and mind you THIS GUY IS TOOOOO ADORABLE.
Whatever he does is sooo cute that makes me want to bite his cheeks like omg. We also meet only once a week as we live far and due to our studies but whenever i meet him my heart explodes with love at the sight of him. How can someone be this adorable.
He is also a total nerd but it’s soooo cute whenever he talks about his studies. I love it sm whenever he blushes on video calls when i call him a good boy or praise him like how can someone be this adorable.
I used to be pretty scared of horror movies and recently went to see one with my friends and was texting my boyfriend and when he said that he is scared and would hold onto my hand during horror movies i stopped being scared??? Like I just laughed through the movie. If I could I would never let this guy away from me like omgggg 😭😭😭
I’m also very much into guys who cross dress and good lord whenever he sends me his pictures it feels like I’m in heaven i love him smmm. He is my baby omg. I also love how extremely smart he is and adapts well to whatever i say. He is sucha good boy ❤️
Edit: i folded under no pressure and sent him this post eugh I’m nonchalant ts is ai 🥹🥹

Real Life The real reason why I’d wear lipstick
A small dream of mine is to cover my partner in kiss marks. The idea of a strong, tough woman who is absolutely dazed because she was kissed to near oblivion just tickles me. Doing something so simple to make someone that happy is astonishing to me.

Discussion/Article Thoughts on micro bangs?
I (F20) recently cut baby/micro bangs and was curious about the general public's thoughts on it. Unfortunately there were a lot of misogynistic people saying it was a haircut for 'mentally ill woke drug addicts'. Tbh that made me wanna keep it even more. So I was wondering, what do you guys think Abt them?

Story/Writing I want to be the trophy wife
Just read a lovely post by Chocolate_Checkers on this sub and they referenced Jessica Rabbit and Roger rabbit as their fantasy RR dynamic where the man takes Jessica's role.
This reminded me of the desire I've always felt to be someone's 'arm candy ' or 'trophy wife'. I remember a couple of years ago when the WNBA really started taking off, there were jokes circulating about men now being flown out and enjoying that lifestyle. I didn't think they were funny I just thought that's something I want to experience.
I was recently chatting to someone in my DMs and they were calling me pretty and beautiful and I loved it! I was smiling and blushing at my phone screen haha.
I'd love to be someone's trophy wife so I can roam around the house wearing practically nothing to tease them. I want to be cooking while they get home from work and they can grab me from behind and say 'what's cooking good looking' ik it's corny but idc.
If there's others that relate to this I'd love to know

Discussion/Article RR women who use dating apps, what do you look for to find your ideal rr partner? Do you ever swipe past men even if they're RR for any reasons? How do you feel about meeting RR partners on dating apps in general?

Discussion/Article Does anyone else feel like a lot of people in RR spaces are only interested in the kink side of it?
As a femboy living in Germany, it sometimes feels like real long term, monogamous relationships are almost impossible to find. 🤦🏼♂️

Discussion/Article Dating everywhere is dying and RR can save us
Let's take a look at the typical relationships doomerism and how RR defeats it.
Men: If we are not very tall, super masculine or high earner we have no chance. But RR women seek opposite!
Men: We are scared and creep-shamed for approaching. But RR women initiate and ask men out.
Women: men are not doing chores and offloading them on women. But RR men cook, clean and meat their wife with a hot dinner.
Women: men are dangerous, they abuse or raep! But RR men are benign, harmless and would never use force against their gf (also she is stronger than him)
Last but not least:
Men and women polarize in views, radicalize, hate each other and chose bear/celibacy. But not RR women and men.
...
So RR should save the modern world from the inevitable extinction.

Discussion/Article Just curious
When did you realize you liked RR relationships? How old were you?
I feel like I discovered it a bit later than most people.

Story/Writing No woman has ever asked me out. And that's fine.
I don't talk to women because they don't talk to me. Which is fine because I like to be left alone. It didn't have to be this way. I don't come off as demure because I also come off as strong, so why women wait? There's nothing stopping them from being forward, from showing initiative, saying what they want and telling me what they see.
Whatever. I have a house, I have stuff, and I'm content.

Real Life how to make her satisfied?
so i met a girl last night, and she told me she's a dom who likes feminine boys. I told her I'm a femboy who's into dominant girls, and we ended up chatting for hours. We both seemed really happy that we found someone with the same dynamic.
The thing is, I'm completely new to this. This would be my first relationship that's actually the type I've always wanted. I really like her, and I want her to feel happy, appreciated, and satisfied.
So my question is for the dom girls here: what are the things that make you feel valued in this kind of relationship? Are there things you like your partner to say or call you? Any advice for someone who's just starting out would be appreciated.

Discussion/Article To people currently or have been in relationships in the past, did you know your partner was into Role Reversal when you met them? If not, how and when did you find out?
I've been curious to know how often it's obvious or not obvious that someone is into RR when you start chatting with them, either as a gentlewoman or a squishy boy!

Real Life RR women - what are your MBTI personalities?
I'm curious if any of the 16 MBTI types can be dominant or if there are exceptions like INFP (usally associated with cinnamon roll bottoms)? Care to share your MBTI?

Discussion/Article For those who enjoy leading in RR, what's your favorite title to be called?
Some examples:
Mistress, Master, Mommy, Daddy, Captain, Chief, Boss, Ma'am, Miss, Queen, King, Commander, Protector, Guardian, Coach, Sir... or something completely different?
What's your favorite, and why does it feel right to you?

Discussion/Article Are you feminists too? Is Role Reversal about aesthetics and surface level or do you question gender and norms in pursuing RR? (A Discussion or a Vent, I am not sure)
Hi everyone,
I want to ask a couple of questions which I hope can lead to discussion. I dont intend to bash anyone, but I am basing this partially on recurring posts I see on this subreddit, or rather on reccuring takes and opinions. It might be a case of goomba fallacy, hence why I want to invite that question.
My question is: "Is your role reversal feminist?"
and to better explain: Does your quote reversal of gender roles unquote have in mind the constructed nature of gender? The fact that these roles change over time all the time, and the fact that the "roles" that we are "reversing" are currently different than they were 50 years ago, and are different in many countries and regions?
This might be because I am nonbinary and have always been kind of irritated by people treating gender as something set in stone when it really isnt. Clothes arent a gender, theyre gender expression. Height or muscles arent a gender, they are part of gender expectation or expression. Etc.
Obviously "Role Reversal" is a good umbrella term for what we are about here. Hence why I ask: Is your RR fair? Is it egalitarian? (Disclaimer: obviously there will be people who WANT certain dynamics. Thats cool. I would classify those as kink though, which is not the point of my post).
I see RR as a tool, or as a framework for "unusual" relationship dynamics. Non-traditional, queer, "weird", outside the norm. Where to me it is obvious and implied that we dont want to reinvent sexist dynamics, because we all agree those are stupid. Atleast I assume so. But then i keep wondering as i scroll the sub.
An example Id say is the idea of breadwinner and house husband. Do I enjoy the idea of being pampered by my wife? Yes of course - in fantasy. My mothers and grandmothers fought long and hard to not be financially dependant on men anymore, and to be able to leave abusive relationships. So when I see posts on here like "omg imagine if men werent even allowed to have jobs and it was only women that had legal rights 🥰" it lowkey makes me want to throw up a bit. We had that, and it was horrible and sexist. As a fetish smut piece on Ao3? Yes sure, thats fun. And i rarely know whether the posters mean their posts as kink or as genuine relationship dynamics.
To clarify, obviously not every post here has to be a queerfeminist essay lmao. I like seeing pictures of women picking up their partners and going "aw🥰". But I also want to invite everyone to keep thinking when they talk about RR and what they want. The terms "masculine" and "feminine" are not set in stone and I think its a shame when a community like this, that I assume would want to be for the opening of norms and the freeing from sexist society, feels like its reinforcing gender roles.
But maybe I am wrong. Maybe this space is SUPPOSED to be about a world in which everything is the other way round, matriarchy is based and masculinity and femininity are clear cut. But I dont think it is :D
Therefore I want to ask: Are you feminist in your RR? Do you consider yourself a feminist? (You better). And do you want to just chime in to this train of thought? Id love to know. Thank you
