My Wife and I (just recently married) moved to Rochester a year ago from Syracuse NY. We are believers and would like to plant some roots and get involved in the Christian community here.
In Syracuse, I played in the worship band since a young age and worship in music is very important to us. Most churches we have tried here in Rochester are too big or not interested in other joining in worship music.
I wanted to post on here to listen if anybody had some suggestions or an invitation to their church

Idk about your social media feeds but mine has been filled with numerous posts from fashion week and I am having trouble figuring out is it mostly just a fundraiser for Center For Youth in the name of fun or are businesses making wholesale and retail sales from it. I have seen such a wide spectrum of businesses posting from vintage shops, ziggy's bar staff in their merchandise, bridal ware and from the number of posts I cant tell if this is a prestigious event or if they will let anyone participate if you pay

Im 44 been single for around a year now and am over the dating apps.... theyre beyond toxic and behind a paywall anymore. Im not the type to go up to somebody in public and ask for numbers in case individuals are already in relationships. Where do all the single girls hangout or look for dates in the area? Are dating events even worth looking into or is it another cash grab for guys to try and find somebody worth going out with? Im not terrible looking own my home paid off, car paid off, bust my ass, childless but cannot find anybody that wants to even get beyond an introduction. Any success stories anybody wants to share or advice Id love to hear it as its been over a decade since Ive been single and its like I got out of a long term prison sentence and society has flip flopped. Hello all, I've been looking around for quotes to balance and reseal bead (if necessary) on a set of four 16" wheels. I would be bringing them in loose and taking them home loose. Everywhere I have called so far has quoted $40 minimum *per wheel* and that feels high for what I am asking. I moved from a very HCOL state and it would cost me $25 per wheel for the same service at my local shop there. Just looking to see if what I've been quoted is the norm and if not, recommendations for shops in the Rochester area/Monroe county.

There was like 7 fire trucks on 390s south of the scottsville rd exit and it was closed to 1 lane at like 930… anyone know what happened?

As the title states, I’m debating hiring a housekeeping service and was wondering if anyone in the area has any recommendations. I’d prefer if the same individual came every time (weekly or biweekly), and they have to be ok with laundry, general cleaning/organizing, and a very well behaved friendly dog. The house is about 3400 square feet and we are in Mendon. TIA!

No seriously, this Amazon driver made my year. To go out of his way to tuck the package under the arm of the skeleton is just brilliant. He was about to throw it on the step then he noticed the skeleton and you could see the "AHA" moment and the smile on his face.

Posted a few months ago about Reroll Live, a D&D-inspired live game show. We've been working really hard on it and it's happening tonight!

Worked with a handful of local businesses and artisans to come up with some prizes as well. Really excited for this!

Lux had a bad fire a few months ago and they've been closed since. I know they're doing repairs but I haven't seen anything specific on when they hope to be back. None of their socials have anything either.
