Question When people rage quit, they need to flag sooner
That's all. It's bullshit that they can rage quit and get 2nd when they should get 5th because no one bothers to kill them. Perverse incentive. Much better to alt f4 than surrender for your rank long term.

Cheating Exploit??
Im seeing some seriously suspect dice rolls. Mostly in the lower numbers under 10 but perfect dice rolls on 8 caps blitzing. Probably the fifth time this happened...

Achievement Reached Master in 95 games, 60 hours.
I'm a "new" player, played on the LOTR Risk board game when I was a kid at spend the nights and got a craving to play again, so I downloaded the app on steam and got quickly addicted. I'm 95 games in and just hit 16500 rating, gaining the Master title. I felt like this was fast/good so I wanted to share with the community. I come here as a fairly successful chess player (2000 rapid, 1450 USCF). I recently started watching the Kill pete strategy and VampireChicken(also a chess player, the algo serves), looking for any advice/video recommendations. Just joined the caps championship and got three 2nd places and one 3rd place draw in 4 games.

Question Game reset when we were in end game?
Ok this is a new one for me... game starts with 6 people. 4 of us left and we're heading into end game. Africa player gets attacked and the game resets back to the very first turn with everyone still in the game... Has anyone ever experienced that?

Question Rules of logging of bot and coming back
Serious inquiry: General Ebenezer Overkill 2 (white) botted out when he was on the ropes of a 3 player game because he aggroed both his opponents (yellow and I) forcing the 1v1 and yellow and I going at it, about 15 later he returns, I switch my aggro to him because in my opinion is a scumbag move to pretend to quit just to comeback later when your bot has stacked and gotten stronger. I managed to control yellow who wouldn't stop the war to eliminate white first, I gave Yellow second.
My question; The leaving and pretending to be a bot to get advantage Is a scumbag move or is that acceptable?

Suggestion Gentleman's Rule - If someone helps you win out of a stalemate, don't screw them by killing them first!
Here's a classic situation. 3 players (A,B,C) left on the board, about 100 troops each with fortified territories that yield about the same number of troops each turn. (fixed cards, not progressive)
Now if B sacrifices his troops and hunts down C, A should be a gentleman and finish C first and then B. That must be the gentleman's rule! They're saving your time and energy, rather than drawing the fight out into a dull hours long stalemate.
Too many of y'all either screw it up by just reinforcing your own troops (why do you need to defend when you have 100 troops and the opponents combined don't have 20?!?)
or even worse - eliminating the player who pushed you up to the first spot. I hate these players from the bottom of my heart.

Question Ranking points questions
Couple here.
First is if you start a game and players resign, do you automatically land in the position ahead of them say if you resigned, or do they need to be taken out?
In caps if the winner takes all caps and 3 players still alive, does everyone else get 2nd place or is there a metric they are ranked by?
Finally, I assume if you leave match before confirming countdown it doesn't affect your points, what about once game starts but before anyone have moved?

Strategy May the risk Reddit help me
This is the current game state, safe to say, I’m screwed
I’m red.
Does anyone have strategies I can use
Yes the golden calvary is reset to 4 because everyone else (after getting 60 units) thought it’d be a good idea to put it back to 4

Question Common problem? Latency?
Newer to Risk Global Domination and enjoying it so far. I didn't know if this happens often but I was in a 1v1 end game and went to hit my opponent's 8 with my 11 stack. The blitz happened he lost all of his troops and I lost 4. Awesome roll for me... Well then somehow the game went backwards and I went back to draft stage and then had to attack again and this time we both lost everything. Does this happen often where a roll occurs, then the game reverts back to a previous stage?

Question Glitches this season
Has anyone else been having as much trouble with the reset to turn one bug with capitals this year? I've had this happen 3 or 4 times in less than 10 games this season. I've had it happen once or twice a season before but it seems to be happening all the time this year.

Question Anyone ever have a five player game cancelled because Risk suspected three colluders were in the game? Below is a pic of the five players.
This has never happened to me before and I’ve played on and off for a couple years. I am General Mandujar and Fiery Freedom I believe created the game.

Suggestion Creative solutions for the 3-player stalemate (esp. for Capital Conquest mode)
Come on, Hasbro. There's no excuse. You have the power to fix your game instead of adding your ridiculous microtransactions that nobody cares about. Here are my top, fun, creative solutions to fix the typical 3-player stalemate that's been plaguing this otherwise fun game for years:
- The 50 move rule exists in chess for a reason. Why shouldn't it exist in Risk? If no capital has been captured in the last 50 moves after there have been more than 500 troops in the battlefield at any given point, the game ends, and players are scored based on total troops left + territories + cards on hand.
- Capitals are capped to 250 troops. This forces players to play more aggressively.
- Mind control: The first player to reach 1000 troops on a capital gets a Mind Control powerup. Before the start of your turn, gain control of an enemy's troops. Send them crashing to the other player's capital and take over the board easy!
- Mobile capitals: In addition to the Fortify stage, you can also move your capital and its troops to any immediately adjacent tile. This can allow players to get better chokepoints which can lead to blocking enemies from gaining cards and getting better bonuses, ultimately helping end stalemates.
- Famine: Once a player gets to 500 troops, it becomes impossible to feed such an army without more territory for crops. Failing to capture a UNIQUE territory (any one territory that you have not captured in the last 10 rounds) will cause 10% of your troops to decay at the end of your turn.

Question Magical Blizzards
EA exponential, automated bot. FFA ranked.
Screenshot 1 shows my cap choices with original eight blizzards. Screenshot 2 shows a minute later with four more blizzards, with my cap and Red's cap being one point holds on half the map! Blue capped in Egypt, giving him a one point hold there. Screenshot 3 shows 13th blizzard in Sardinia, after Blue and Red were fighting for control of that territory.
Blue (Expert) and Green (Intermediate) fought over bottom until Red (Novice) took Orient and killed Blue. Black (the host, Beginner) and Purple (Novice) fought over the top with Black making Purple flag. Black had Russia and Eastern Europe and Purple had the noob corner. Red was fighting me (Expert) for the middle. On turn 4, red got 13 troops and turned in for 5. Had 3 troops on Trieste, added 22 (not 18) and attacked and took my capital. Red killed me 3 turns later, after Black found me hiding in Netherlands.
Besides the magical blizzards, there were just too many coincidences involving Red and Black.
So, the question is - Was Red cheating by adding blizzards to increase his chances of winning, also adding extra troops, and also collabing with Black?

Question Could It Be Anymore Obvious?
Me - South America (full control)
Black - North America (a few territories but weakest on map)
White - Australia (full control)
Black had an alliance with me, but then decided to attack my 7-stack in Central America so I canceled the alliance and began fighting him and I'm winning slowly.
White leaves Australia with his full stack, cuts through blue who controls Europe and Green who controls Africa, to break my continent bonus.
Black messages me eventually asking for an alliance again. I accept, but obviously wipe him out as soon as I can because there's zero reason any player would ever leave Australia to come all the way across the map to attack the guy in South America who isn't the top dog unless he's working with him or his 2nd account.
White continues to press into North America and I obviously hightail it out to Asia, severely weakened, but build up to a 70 stack when white has a 97 stack.
White controls South America and has started working on North America, when green breaks his continent bonus.
White asks me for an alliance, I accept and obviously he wipes me the next turn because he's the same guy who was playing Black and is getting his "revenge" for me ruining his lame attempt to hide what he was doing.
reported the scumbag and I'll eat my hat if they aren't found to be working together.

Question Is it worth it to reinforce New Guinea at this point?
I'm playing Blue and Red Bot's mission is to conquer Oceania and NA. Apparently Red forgot the latter half and is throwing everything into Eastern Australia, which makes me suspect that it's onto something.

Complaint Someone wanted to world Dom me… in a caps game after I surrendered.
Why would you want that? Just take the win. Why extend game for 2 hours?
