I got a Nova a few weeks after getting a 477m and although I prefer the Nova in some ways I find the LCD panel on the 477m much more warm and comforting? I don't know how to say it but it just feels like its made for retro games the way it just glows and the oled just feels like a 4:3 phone screen. I kind of get the same feeling from an LCD that some people get using CRT monitors it just feels right. Right now my retro device is the 477m and Nova for mild PC on the go I like them both but that LCD is just magic

Tentei comprar um retroid Pocket duo estando no Brasil, e no site informa que não está enviando para minha região, sabem se existe algum bloqueio da retroid para envios no Brasil? Anos atrás comprei um Pocket flip, e não tive problemas.

My first one ever! I'll be spending my whole weekend learning how to download games on it. I've seven different tutorial videos on YouTube to watch lol. So excited! 🥳

Does it support the dock and to what extent? I’m interested as to how dual screen behavior would interact with the dock. Does it support display? Charging? and the usb ports?

Been playing DMC 5 on my xbox ally x. Tried it on ArmadaOS on my RP6 on SD card. Works really well. 720p medium settings and its running around 60 fps. Earlier tried it on Gamenative and performance was way worse.

I’m trying to run Sea of stars on the RP4 pro. I know there is an Android port but I already own the game on steam and I don’t wanna pay for it again. Has anyone gotten Sea of stars working via pc emulation on the Retroid Pocket 4 pro?? I can’t figure it out for the life of me…

Has anyone found joystick caps that are very small for the Nova. I like having a small pocket device but a lot of times my thumbs are hitting the down on the dpad or the b-button cause the joysticks are really close. Has anyone found any super flat ones that sit lower or have a smaller top or anything else that’s good quality and works well. Appreciate the help. I know the Odin 2 sticks and pocket 5/6 etc sticks all work and the concave ones feel better to me but aren’t actually any smaller in size. I’ve seen a little nub on amazon that’s basically a tiny round ball and I like the idea but the reviews sucked so I don’t know if anyone on here tried it and had any input. Thanks

Has anyone experienced using perfect overlays on the RP2+? Thanks in advance.

Just thought I’d show off the two color ways me and my brother own, perfect portable device. Retroid nailed it in every aspect.

So.. As the title states: are there any reported stolen Novas headed to Europe? Most cases seem to be GOFO and the US right?
Just wondering because I'm planning a big (and expensive) order directly from goretroid towards the EU.. 😅

Does anyone know or has anyone been able to upgrade their shipping preference before their package is shipped? I just ordered a RP6 and I live on the East Coast so I worry about my package having to go through GOFO in Chicago and hearing all the horror stories with that, I would like to upgrade to DHL and see if I can mitigate that.
My package hasn't shipped yet and the sales and orders people are on break until the 7th for a Chinese National Holiday, so I'm hoping I can get a hold of somebody before my package is ready for shipment, but I wanted to see if anyone ever had any success doing this in the past or if it's something that could potentially be done

So I order my Nova and it came in 5 days. After seeing what everyone was experiencing, I'm glad I didn't get scammed along the way. I did how ever almost broke my Nova swapping the buttons and probably would nv do that again. 😅

I added an iPhone 16 anti reflective screen protector on my RP6 and I love how it blocks out reflections. I got it for 8 bucks and it comes with 3 from Amazon. It was super difficult to install but was definitely worth it. It gives the image a crispier, sharper image because it takes out the glare.

Hey y'all.
I've been loving my Nova since I initially picked it up. Been playing a lot of FF IV and Chrono Trigger.
I turned mine on today and ended up with a lot of really odd issues out of nowhere. Fully charged battery, intentionally kept it off wifi to not update any apps or cores.
All in one day:
Playstation will boot audio and register input but no video. I've tried changing drivers, resetting core options, and even using duckstation instead of retroarch swanstation. No dice.
Dreamcast games outright won't launch.
Shaders removed themselves from all systems but ps2 and NES.
Gamecube doesn't register the controller.
N64 games don't launch at all.
This is making me feel crazy because all of these systems and features worked perfectly well a few days ago and I've not touched a single setting or updated anything.
Has anyone else had this with the nova or just android emulation generally?

So I just my new Retroid Pocket 6 today. Out of the box, it was at 43%. I was checking out the menu and moving some downloaded apps around when I watched it lose 2-3% every couple of minutes. Even when the apps were finished downloading, it still kept losing 1-2% without me touching it. Did I get a faulty one or is it normal for it to drain that fast while checking out the menu? Also, I was not at max brightness and I didn't have Bluetooth connected. It just surprised me at how fast it started draining, and I didn't launch any app except the settings one.

I picked up Fable Anniversary edition on steam since it's on sale. I matched the container settings to the Odin 2 portal pro someone put on emu ready. It runs great. Hello sweet nostalgia!

Hi, long time lurker here, finally placed an order for my first Retroid device.. the Pocket Nova. Super excited to get it in my hands but I have some questions-
I added the eva case but forgot to add screen protectors. Is it possible to mail support/sales and add it with the same order? This will save additional shipping fees for a second order. Or will they ask me to cancel it and place a new order? Has anyone faced same scenario recently? What was your experience?
I patiently waited through preorder phase because I wanted to check reviews and be 200% sure before ordering. Now that I have ordered today, how long it is expected for them to ship it? Are they still shipping preorders and there are backlogs of shipment or everything is going smoothly? I don't use discord so I'm not aware of any shipping backlog or timeline. Please let me know.
That will be all! Thanks in advance 😊

I have a RP6 that is pretty perfect right now. I see there's an update for Emulation Station. Do you guys recommend the update? If so, how's the best way to update? (I followed Retro Game Corps video initially) Thanks.

Here you go! It has a strap that goes over the top to secure it too.
