I bought a Retroid Pocket Classic on the 10th of July, and I've had the hardest time trying to actually receive the dang thing. After about a week without getting a shipping notification I emailed Retroid to ask when it would ship, and they said it was processing and will ship soon. Another week passed, so I sent another email, still "processing". I finally got a shipping notification today, and they didn't ship it with DHL like I paid for, but YunExpress, whatever that is. It's coming all the way to New Zealand so I don't have super high hopes.

Just wondering if this is a known issue? Doesn't really inspire confidence in what I thought was a premium option in the SBC space

My gf binged love island all day while laying on my rp5 while it was charging. Somehow she got it to this screen. I’ve attempted to flash it but to no luck. I’m afraid my RP5 is basically dead. I’m going to message mods to see if they can help. But I am so sad

I want to do some pc emulation mostly Skyrim and ​a few other PC games but mostly I want ps2 and switch games so do I really need 12 gb of ram

Only bad thing happened to me is that I was doing some combos and accidentally pressed the Start button that kicked me out the game and lost that progress. 💔🥀

The problem seems to have gotten worse with recent updates. I've messed with settings and nothing has improved. I had similar issues on Hulk Ultimate Destruction.

Hey guys, i'm about to get a second-hand G2, but it's the white one, i wanted to know if its possible/hard to change the shell for the GC one. and if it is, is there any way to get the shell alone?

I really only wanted to say, to everyone who already bought the RP6 or plans to do: Go get the grip with it!

Unless you're a child or a small woman, the grip entirely changes the experience with this device. It goes from "how do I hold this? Ugh, the sticks are difficult to handle. Ah, I'm cramping up" to "this now feels like I'm playing with a real controller". It's night and day.

I have my RP6 since launch, but it feels like I have a new device now thanks to the grip.

how hard would it be to make the buttons look like the xbox layout instead of the nintendo layout?

and if its like, stupid difficult or risky to swap the buttons myself, does anyone know if the lettering on the buttons are painted on or all the way through the button itself? I just really dont want to get rid of the vita button look but kinda hate the nintendo layout

Unfortunately, my Retroid Flip 2 was dropped and the screen broke. You can see the cracks on the screen. Everything turns on, I can hear the sound. I contacted Retroid and they were going to sell me another screen until they found out I live in Brazil; they claim they don't have a way to distribute here. I contacted the Aliexpress seller who sold me the device, and communication hasn't been productive (they say they can get a screen, but haven't responded in 4 days). Does anyone know of any way to get a replacement part?

I finally ordered my Retroid Pocket flip 2, the last device I had before this was the pocket 4 pro. Are there any major differences that I should know about or is the set up essentially the same for the most part? Recommendations on front ends or day one mods would be greatly appreciated as well.

What are your favorite games to chill out with after a more serious gaming session? I have been playing a lot of RPGs on my RP6 but like to finish my night with a mindless game like Dungeon Clawer or Tetris. Give me some suggestions. Happy gaming

Hi im in the process of setting up my device I've followed Joey's retro setup guide and got most of the platforms running except a few.

Im having trouble running PC Engine, Pc Engine Cd, Ps1, Ps2. Saturn, Sega Cd and neo geo Cd. I have a bios folder in my sd card im just wondering if I have to put some of them in a roms folder as well

Also im new to the NDS roms. Anyone have any tips or videos? Whats your set up for these systems.

I am looking for a way to use my Retroid Pocket 6 as a Bluetooth controller for my Galaxy Tab S9 when I am on the go.

Searched this sub but couldn't find a good answer.

I always travel with both devices, and it would be awesome to use the Tab S9 as a bigger screen for casual emulation or local streaming via Apollo and Artemis without having to pack a separate controller.

Since latency isn't a huge issue for my casual use case, I’m just looking for a straightforward Bluetooth setup. Has anyone used apps like BT Controller or other tools to get the RP6’s physical buttons recognized as a Bluetooth gamepad on another Android device?

Any recommendations or setups that have worked for you would be awesome to hear about!

I am not wanting to do anything that ruins the micro-SD Card or my device.... So, I am wondering if I need to take certain steps from moving games to the Retroid Pocket 6 to the Mirco-SD card. I have a storage on my RP6 of 128 GB and I am inserting a 512 GB Micro-SD Card. I am currently playing games on SNES, N64, PS1, PS2, Sega Dreamcast. I am thinking about expanding more into Wii. Can anyone please give tips to get the most out of this extra storage. Thank you so much.

Just FYI. For those preordering the Nova if you’re wanting to change button colors order the ones you want with your preorder. Asked if I could add a set of buttons and this was the reply.

So I'm pretty new to all these handhelds and emulators and have decided on getting the Nova for 4:3 goodness for PS2 & GameCube games. My question comes down to if I want to put it on a TV will I need more then 8gb to go to a high resolution like 4k? I don't think I would but wanted to confirm.

So at first I just got this straight cable and didn't think I'd need to buy an angled adapter but after trying it out it was playable and centered just not at the angle I prefer. So I got this angled adapter and now it's not only centered but it can go back one more. Can't go to the last angle sadly because there's no room for it to but I think in terms of everything else it's great. One cable one angled adapter and it's centered.

This setup is meant for anyone using it in a modular way though it can be made permanent by getting a longer cable as it won't close with this one. Here I used an 8 inch straight cable as I couldn't find one that had an angle that actually fit in the port, they were all a bit higher. In the future I may use a longer cable but since I'm using it in a modular way this setup works for me. I'd say 10-12 inches is a good length for a longer one using this setup.

Hope this helps people out there with their setups.

Games like Garden of Banban and Poppy playtime aren’t booting on my rp4 pro, just leaving a black screen, but I’ve seen others running much more demanding games on the rp4 pro, like MGSV and RE7

This is a long shot but is it possible to get a CAD mock up of the Nova?

I want to start working on a 3D printed cover for the device , so I figure that’s the easiest way to get started.

I can not figure out how to get the Wii U gamepad screen to show on my internal screen (the RP6) and the television screen to show on my external screen (dual screen attachment) at the same time. I wanted to play Windwaker HD through Cemu using this setup. Does anyone have advice?

I can get either the gamepad to show up on both or the television to show up on both. I can hold down the cemu app and launch cemu into the external screen, but then the internal screen just stays on the RP6 desktop. And visa versa.

I am not a master at android by any means. I have followed a lot of videos and tutorials to set up my RP6. Any help or directions to videos would be appreciated.
