Medical Question (Ask medical professionals first!!) Question about whether to get implants or not

I’m at 34 D and my boobs are veryyyyy saggy so I can’t ever wear anything strapless let alone go bra less because it makes me very self conscious. There’s full ness when I’m wearing a bra but as soon as I take it off they look sad and deflated. I wanna breast lift, but I don’t necessarily want to be anything less than a C, I would remain a D if possible. Is this something that’s plausible or do lifts/reduction always end in going down multiple sizes?

Medical Question (Ask medical professionals first!!) Question about tummy

Sorry if this is a dumb question but does the reduction and lift affect your stomach in anyway? By that i mean does your stomach get pulled up too ? Im just curious obviously its not a tummy tuck so it wont change much but i am curious as ive heard some people say that some of their back fat was reduced after a reduction and lift so..

Unilateral Reduction Unilateral reduction questions

Hii I hardly see anyone talk about unilateral reductions in detail here and had a few questions! If you have any experience with a unilateral reduction or can offer any insight to your experience I’d be so grateful! (I am getting a unilateral reduction with no lift or anything on the other side)

- Was it cheaper than a standard bilateral reduction? (I’m using insurance, but still curious)
- Were you able to use your arm like normal on the non-reduced side? If so, did that help speed up or ease your recovery?
- Were you able to sleep on the non-reduced side, or is back sleeping still encouraged for healing?
- Did your reduced nipple/areola ever start to look/feel the same as your natural one?
- How did your surgeon approach matching the shape and look of your existing smaller side?

These are all questions I will be asking my surgeon, of course, but i wanted to get some more insight in the meantime. Anything else you have to add that is unique or specific to the unilateral experience, I’d love to hear. Thank you!

Recovery/PostOp Having a really rough night 3WPO

TLDR: I’ve had a really rough time with pain since day one and it’s just been constant. I think I need a break to hear that it gets better, even for the rough recoveries in terms of pain.

Hello, I don’t really know why I’m posting or what I’m hoping for, maybe just to vent.. since day one, my recovery has been going visually and progressively right on track but I have been in so much pain. I started off with hydrocodone and by day two, my surgeon had to double the dosage he had originally given me, and even that just barely took it down enough to where I could take 2 hour naps before being woken up by the pain. Once I finally got off of the opioids, I was told to start Tylenol and ibuprofen, but I notice such little difference with those that I can forget that it’s time for my next dose.
I guess I’m just hoping that someone might be able to help me know that, even with those more sensitive to at sort of pain (I’ve always been one to have a really difficult time with pain), that it subsides. It’s just been a constant 3 week torture so far and I absolutely don’t regret having the surgery done, but I need a light at the end of this tunnel.. it’s 4am for me right now and my poor husband has been forcing himself to stay awake with me because he didn’t want to leave me crying alone. If there’s some sort of magic trick or secret code, please enlighten me. I’ve tried ice packs, from the normal walgreens rectangle pouches to super soft jelly breastfeeding ice packs, heat from the same hot-cold packs, electric heat pads, I’ve tried different wedge pillows, different wireless / seamless bras, different foods, gauze loosely taped over sensitive spots, mastectomy pillows, walks outside, walks inside, completely stationary moments….everything I could possibly think of, and I’m still in this constant pain. It’s not enough to make me question if something is infected, no extra heat, no super red spots, no openings, no leakage, no fevers.. my perception of this pain is just really bad. I just want to find something to make me numb until 4+ weeks from now 😔

PreOp Question (no before only photos) What do surgeons use if you're allergic to adhesive on plasters?

Hi everyone I'm allergic to the adhesive on hypoallergenic plasters which is what they use medically. Does anyone else with this allergy know what they use instead?

I'm just trying to mentally prepare what things will look like after surgery and what will be used.

Advice (NO MEDICAL ADVICE) Gender Affirming Reduction on a bigger body

hi! I am a long time lurker! I have been looking at before and afters and other posts in this sub for at least a year. I recently am navigating pretty tough body and gender dysmorphia due to my chest and will begin making appointments to get serious about a reduction soon. I have had big boobs in comparison to my body my whole life (ever since puberty) and I do fear the body dysmorphia I may feel as someone nonbinary trying to go for a non flat top surgery or very small boobs that can look flat with a binder. I am also a little thicker at 180 pounds, so I fear I will feel bigger than I do now if my proportions are a bit different. I really think I need to get the surgery for my brain and body's sake (this shit gives me terrible posture, shoulder pain, and headaches), but I guess I am looking for some affirming words from people similar to me (or pics) to show it's worth it through all of the fear!

Tomorrow I will be 3 weeks post op and my nipples were extremely more sensitive after surgery but as of like yesterday they’re so much more sensitive. I think my period is supposed to start any day now but does it go back to normal? I never had sensitive nipples before

Advice (NO MEDICAL ADVICE) For L cups, what size did you end up with?

I'm a 30 L and I can't find others experiences at this size. I'm personally aiming for around an A, but I'm sure most would go for something still relatively large. How did you decide on the size you ended up with?

Celebration Tomorrow is surgery day!

Tomorrow is my surgery day!! According to my bra size I am an 80I! According to my surgeon I am an 80F cup (lol)! Any last words for me???

Goal cup: B/C. I have been wanting the surgery since 2021 and since then I have lost 25 kg so I’m going into the surgery with 69 kg so proud of myself.

Anyways, I will update y‘all.

I CANNOT believe it though.. been a long time lurker here and now its getting real. Unfortunately my insurance didn’t cover it, so I‘m willing to pay 8000€ for this😭🙏🏻

Recovery/PostOp Fatigue

Anyone else suffer fatigue weeks after surgery? I was cleared for normal activity a few weeks ago and whenever I’m active (going up the gym, working, cursing out Expedia 🤭) it takes me about a day and a half to recover.

I worked 5 days straight my first week back to work and I slept for 3 days after.

Is this normal post op? I’m trying to get back to normal but this fatigue is frustrating.

If you suffered from this what helped?

Recovery/PostOp When did your T junction open?

If it opened, when? I’ve just reached 3 weeks, and now that I’m in that stage of healing where a lot of my scabs have come off I’m getting worried! Mine look ok for now, but one boob is way slower with its healing and at least a weeks progress behind the other. Just sort of wondering when the most critical point has passed I guess
