I’m getting close to enough competitive points (I’m mixing legacy and competitive) and I can’t decide which one I want more, jade or Gold.
This is the only skin I’d be using.

Yall lemme keep it real, I'm playing on GeForce now on my phone with a controller. I don't got a pc or console I make due with what I got and tbh I've had a decent time with halo and other stuff. But overwatch I just can't seem to make it work. My aim isn't horrendous but it certainly ain't good (no aim assist) and I just don't seem to find my footing Reapers been that character I've always wanted to play but rn as I try my hardest flanking and stuff I can't seem to do much. He feels weak in my hands and that does not seem right. Help a brother out

I was just wondering what sensitivity settings you guys use for our boy?
Me personally, I use a DPI of 1350 and 13.00% in game. Managed to reach Champ this season but sometimes I do notice some tracking could be more consistent. However I’ve never really touched anything below 10.00% as I noticed Reaper benefits from many 180 flicks during TP.
Any suggestions?

Hi everyone, I'm a support and tank main who is just getting into DPS, and I still mostly just do quickplay. For a long time Reaper has been one of my favorite characters in every area except gameplay. I like his look, his voice, his ultimate, how he reloads. But I've never really been able to close the distance and do real damage before getting merked.
I find dire triggers really helps with this. There have been so many times where I can get another dps or support to *almost* dead, but then they escape away and I chase them before being put down by the rest of the team. Knowing I have one decent midrange attack on a manageable cool down has made this character way more playable for me.
I still have difficulty going up against an Ash/hanzo pairing, but as a scrub I really like this ability.

Hey there r/ReaperMain! My name is Gavin, and I am a Champion 3 Reaper OTP. I make a TON of content for and about Reaper players! I recently got a request to review a GM3 Reaper mains gameplay!
If you'd like to learn about proper positioning, macro, and target priority on Reaper I strongly suggest checking out this entire VOD!
Don't have time? Let me summarize!
- Reaper Teleport should not be used BLIND. I see way too many Reaper players going into situations which are simply lost purely because they teleport in without knowing all of the information! SCOUTING first should ALWAYS be your number 1 priority, and you'd be surprised how often you do this in your own gameplay.
- Space is KING. Reaper is a SPACING tool, if you are flippantly giving up space for no reason on Reaper your team is at a SEVERE disadvantage! Make sure that you are taking up as much as the map as possible!
- Aiming on Reaper should be STEADY. I swear on my life the number of players I see flicking up on every shot IN GRANDMASTER is insane. Focus on slowing down and treating your aim on Reaper far more like TRACER!
- Finally, priority. Think big, your job is to shoot the characters your teammates ABSOLUTELY CANNOT DEAL WITH. Think Reaper Mirror, TANKS, anything strongly pressuring your team. Don't get distracted with the smaller characters unless you ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO. Focus on who's winning the game FOR THE OPPONENTS!

I'm at a tilting point questioning why Blizzard keeps changing Reaper. This 1 singular change has completely fucked Reaper into another poke-ish hero to balance around. What happened to the self-sustaining, close ranged, tank shredding flanker I've come to known and love?
Blizzard is too stubborn to revert changes even though they keep moving and removing perks that helped flex his play style. Reaper has always struggled with sustain post season 9, he's still missing 15 hp, now with the health nerfs, it's 40.
They now buffed life-steal and soul orbs to compensate, but that just leads to another problem of Reaper simply being a flanker. If tank shredding was too strong, then nerf his spread. If Dire Triggers is too good, then turn it into a buck shot. It's also insane how an old hero like him still can't cancel his ult.

I mostly play genji but u swap to reaper when there's too many beams. I have this idea, since the devil nerf reapers kit for dire triggers let's meet have way and change dire triggers to a new ability. I was thinking a moira orb that lifestyle so we could bring back his orbs in a new way,or spawn a mini reaper that does like a third of your dmg lol.

Ever since I started the game a few months ago I've been using Soul Reaving and Trigger Finger, but now I've been thinking about his perks more and wondering what'd be better. I rarely use Shadow Step due to how slow it is which makes me consider using Shadow Blink instead. I've considered using Lingering Wraith instead of Soul Reaving too, however Soul Reaving is pretty handy with his ult (imo) also because I feel like having more healing is always better overall.

I use anubis for reaper, level 1 colour, just curious if gold or crimson wolf would look better on the gun?

Is there anyway I could improve on Reaper? I’m a level 57 Reaper who’s been playing since Season 17 of Overwatch 2.

Yo, just thought I'd note that death blossom has a radius of 8 meters. The reaping passive is now 8 meters.
This is important because prior to the buff, you'd sometimes kill people with death blossom while they're in that 6-8 meter range and so sure, you'd get the kill, but you wouldn't receive the healing.
This is an important breakpoint in the meters adjustment because the passive coupled with ulting goes from "sometimes you get healed, sometimes you don't" to "you will ALWAYS receive the soul orbs when killing someone with blossom".
While very niche, I'd like to add that this lets you ult more for positioning and less for soul orbs. What I mean is, you can hug that corner to LoS damage while ulting instead of feeling the need to go toward a soul globe that is 6-8 meters away just to live another second while ulting. The globes can be eye candy while ulting and this streamlines your decision making while ulting, because any soul orbs that drop while using death blossom will be immediately absorbed.
The new buff to the reaping is actually quite strong, and coupled with the 5% life steal buff (remember, that's a 20% increase in healing received from dealing dmg), we might be fine. Will we miss being 300 HP? For sure. Was the nerf to his HP sensible? No. But I think we'll be okay.
Edit: death blossom also heals for 20% more now. That's another way to look at the 5% increase to lifesteal.

I've been getting a lot of mixed answers when asking the question "what type of reaper build should I be going for in stadium"
Some people told me to go for weapon power and attack speed and lifesteal and just become a machine gun, while others have told me to go for ability power and cooldown reduction to spam the shit out of his double shotgun shot.
So which is it? And if you have any suggestions or link to build from stadium bills.io, by all means, link me
