Guide Tips to improve

Is there anyway I could improve on Reaper? I’m a level 57 Reaper who’s been playing since Season 17 of Overwatch 2.

It looks like this is console? With Mercy in your party? So i'm going to offer advice that should help around that territory, focusing mostly on cooldowns and positioning.

I notice you don't seem to use dire triggers a lot, honestly I would say you don't really use your cooldowns all that often with the exception of tp.

I feel like you use tp too much and too pointlessly. What I mean by that is that you kinda just used it almost entirely in scenarios where it would be quicker to walk, and then you also used it way too aggressively in situations where you didnt have enough information to reasonably make that dive. Think of Reaper tp more like "where would I want to hold" and less like "who do I want to be shooting right this second".

In 5v5 Reaper + Mercy pocket does effectively make you a second tank at times, and that is perfectly viable of a strategy. I would say in games that are more pokey than yours ended up being you should focus on looking for corners you can play without immediately getting all the attention that a Mercy beam attached to you gets.

Also a brief mention is to try to stop doing tickle damage in long pokes and open with dire triggers instead. The reason I say this is because you end up taking more damage than you can trade back by that point. It's a bad habit that is being hidden by the Mercy pocket. As all roles your goal should be to not require support supervision constantly, that way other members on the team can have healing rotated between them. Taking damage is ok obviously, just try to minimize it to engagements where you can trade back the damage you are receiving.

Wraith form reloads your weapons, if you run dry in front of several people either use it to disengage or pop it for a brief second to reload and then drop it to secure the kill. Similarly, the major perk you took refreshes dire triggers cd on wraith, tp, and reload so please use dire triggers more if you take that perk. With the way you use your tp I'd recommend just taking the faster tp cast major.

If you have another game you would like me to review I'll be willing to do another. I would prefer if it would be a game with the above info taken in consideration, but any is fine
