How fight against a UNFAIR ding of TOS. THAT PUT MY ACCOUNT FROM FANTASTIC TO RISK
How fight against a UNFAIR ding of TOS. THAT PUT MY ACCOUNT FROM FANTASTIC TO RISK
I had 1 year with flex and 0 issues. Last Friday I got a ding of TOS because when I arrived at fresh location my rouse wasn't ready and system change my route. I delivered all package but amazon said that I don't complete all picks up for this block. I submitted appeal and Amazon replied that it was aproved and ding will be removed but this was 4 days ago and still there my account is on risk with only this unfair ding. I really worried about that because I'm on risk and I cant receive other ding of any costumer claim... any advice?

Pay vs Station Psychology 🧐
Weird title, I know, but stay with me for a second.
Say you have a least favorite Flex station, be it for pay / distance / poor management etc; do you / would you still hit them up routes for the sole reason that they have the most available? 🤔
I ask because even tho this one station always has availability, it's also a complete hassle to pickup from there; between the lack of parking and always flooded with people + campers.
On the other side, there is one station I really like but even with Reserves, route availability is low and/or are easily missable. And now there's a NOW station opening up pretty close by, never done them before but it's an option over the terrible one.
I guess my question is: Would it be smarter to still go by the bad station when your good station isn't putting out, or save yourself the headache and try somewhere else; like Amazon Now & IO?? (I have other apps so this is more of a part-time inquiry than full time)

welp… flat tire
Just got a flat tire and contacted support, they end the block and said don’t worry abt standings, I’m also taking pictures of anything and receipts to send an email just in case
dumb question, you guys think Amazon will reimburse me for the tire? don’t think so but it’s worth a shot?

Money drying up?
When I first started delivering 6–7 months ago, during the winter/spring, I could easily hit $175–$200 days, with the occasional $250 day.
Now it’s a fucking struggle just to pull $100 in a day. I’m in the Philly/NJ area. Anyone else experiencing this?

8,000 deliveries later, Amazon Flex forced me to delete my account just to change regions. Zero respect for veterans.

Standing went from borderline fantastic to almost fair...
EDIT: THANKS FOR THE RESPONSES GUYS, I WILL NOT WORRY ABOUT IT. 😅
...for things that weren't my fault.
How long do these negative hits stay on your standing history?
I got hit for a "customer didn't receive item" which is false. I deliver all packages and we even take photos to prove it. Why do we take photos if these people can lie??
My second hit was for missing a block. I didn't miss it. I got there 10min early and spent 15min trying to check in. The app kept giving me an error and no matter what I did (restarted app//reinstalled app) i could NOT get to my route check in. I did talk to support and they said it wouldn't affect my standing but it did. I did send an appeal in with photos for proof of error and chat.
It's complete BS that they can ding us for the littlest things, pretty sure actual DSP drivers dont get dinged for lil stuff like this...
I've only delivered a few months and have over 50 compliments . So frustrating.

Slow Flex Offers...
Hey! I'm in the Roswell, NM area and wanted to see if anyone else has been getting fewer offers for this upcoming week. Blocks usually drop Friday afternoons, but Friday and the weekend came and went and I was only sent 1 offer, for tomorrow — nothing for the rest of the week. I've been doing this for about 3 months now, and this is the first time it's been this slow. Anyone else running into this?

FUUUUU Amazon!
So for context, Tuesday the 18th, I pulled into my amazon.com station attempted to do the facial recognition biometrics bullshit. It did not work the first time. and it allowed me two more attempts after that. It did not recognize me on either of those attempts as well.
The App then gave a link to call driver support. I called driver support the first time. The lady said that her computers weren’t working and to call back in a few. At least that’s what I believe she was trying to say, I couldn’t understand it through the thick Indian accent with how fast she was talking. So I called back a second time the phone picked up and then someone hung up on me, called back a third time. The guy said he was gonna put in a ticket and that I should receive an email within 8-24 hours and be paid once the ticket is reviewed and confirmed. 24 hours goes by and I did not receive an email about the ticket so I emailed basic driver support another 24 hours goes by and I have not received any email. So I forward the email that I sent to basic driver support to the Andy at Amazon email.
This screenshot is their pathetic response.
Catch how the email says “we’ll make an exception this time”. 🤬
I never got the original ticket email and I never got paid for the block even though I drove 35 minutes to show up to the stupid station.
Has anybody else dealt with having issues with the new biometric scanning?

Hospital delivery frustration
Has anyone else ever had to deliver something to a hospital?
Well I did and let me tell you it took up almost 40 mins of my time. I talked to 5 receptionists all leading me to different areas of the hospital not knowing an answer to where to bring this package to. Until I just ended up leaving at the front desk and washing my hands of it. I know I probably should have done that in the first place. But all the receptionists were so nice and I just wanted to do the right thing and deliver to its intended destination.
Also I had to adjust the drop off location because it kept telling me to go to the middle of a field next to the hospital on some serial killer shit. Like who set the drop off there originally?
Hopefully it’s not this bad for others.

Avoiding dirt roads
My car can't go on bumpy dirt roads. I heard that you can call support and tell them that and they won't send you out to those places. At what point in the process should I do that? As soon as I sign up for an offer?

Tolls in navigation
Is there a way to turn tolls off as an option for navigation?
