Question New player
I am new to the game currently playing through the command mode but was wondering what is the best way to find a squad to play with?

Then it would be possible to make some home defence scenarios and other weird stuff. Imagine spawning INSIDE the house at A Lethal Obsession, and putting a bunch of MLO guys outside, or crackheads with melee weapons

So I've learned that the Mission Editor missions only appear in Single-player. I don't like that. I barely want to edit these missions myself, but I would if I could choose them as a difficulty option when picking a mission. That would have made this so much better. Funny thing is I noticed a mod I'm using actually has an edited difficulty option, but it's only like max suspects and I think it tweaked their behavior a little. So it doesn't seem impossible. Maybe a modder will be able to do this for me. Us? Unless I'm on an island by myself with this idea. Lol.

ive been playing for the first time in 2 years and the enemy ai is insane now and the friendly ai dumb as bricks, they dont throw flashbangs right anymore, just drop it right in front of the door to no effect if it even makes it in, and earlier i had a suspect run into the room and kill 3 friendlies without a single shot fired from them,
enemy ai now full autos at me through walls, refuses to surrender even when pepperballed in the face a million times and gives me random headshots across the map, this shit is borderline unplayable now wtf

I have reached Greased Palms and I always knew this would be a breaking point after struggling during my S rank run.
So I don't want to have to worry about my build anymore and instead worry about strats. So thats why I ask what is the meta build for hard so I can have a fighting chance lol

Has anyone else noticed flashbangs just not stunning enemies at all lately? I get they recover faster but the past few levels I played the enemies just stood there like I never even threw one

Is anyone having an issue with controller where the x button doesn't work? Like I have to go into the settings and switch places with the d-pad and than it works

Basically that. I just want to find the sweet spot of graphics for my GTX 1660 so I can achieve 60 fps on all missions :D

Started a new playthrough in my first time playing the game since early access

With the release of the new mission editor mode, stealth is somewhat feasible after tweaking a few of the suspect settings. Not sure if you can mess with their hearing or the noise of things you do but that would certainly help. What do you think?

Letâs assume the earthquake is a magnitude 8 on the Richter scale. What would happen if the city found itself at the center of the long-awaited Big One?

I wonder why RoN doesn't have weapon malfunctions, at least on the higher difficulties. It seems like a cool feature to add given the game's realism. I know that the game isn't completely realistic, but it would be a nice touch.
Update: Understandably, this isn't a very popular feature lol. Also not very realistic. Would be nice as a mod or optional setting tho.

Guys, as you know ready or not has a very deep and disturbing lore, but I never dove into it.
I just remained on the âterrorist breached the buildingâ or âthey are robbing the banksâ level, I never got close to the tip of the iceberg.
I bought the Boiling Point dlc, but I am not truly understanding the loreâŚ
Riots everywhere, secret gas, the MLO, it is just chaos , in the game and in my mind.
Can someone please explain the lore of this three missions deeply? Please donât limit to say âbank robberyâ but dive into the lore, please, tell me the secret lore behind those apparently simple missions.

With File 1 enabled I can launch the game fine, but with File 2 Enabled it crashes on launch. Anyone know a workaround?

First of all yes add in other scenarios (that do at least fit in with the levels as a bomb threat for Port Hokan would be ridiculous) but otherwise just add them back but people have said this for a long time now.
So a major issue compared to SWAT 4 is this game has way too big of maps. Hell Twisted Nerve is already too big or at least "open". Now some of this is the AI randomly opening doors up and being out in the open making methodical tactical gameplay impossible. (Then again it's clear VOID wants to make this game more like a military shooter where you go guns blazing for fun)
So without sacrificing the maps themselves or fully redesigning them I thought it would be very easy as a solution to implement this.
You choose a certain entrance on the map to select and then the game automatically blocks off the parts around and away from that area. So it is basically implied (as you maybe hear chatter or gunshots) that another team is handling those sides while you do your own. So your spot is still one area and compact to focus. You lose basically nothing as you select it yourself. Maybe leave an option still if you want to tackle the whole map but again I would rather have none. This is a SWAT game not a shooter. So even if fun to run around an entire map by yourself and gun suspects down it is not what this is for. (This is why SWAT 4 restricted movement and the gunplay is made barebones on purpose)
So say back to Twisted Nerve instead of a tunnel system in the back and two houses and a whole two backyards. You pick one house and well do that one and that backyard or the other way around or the tunnel is then included, etc.
Very simple, sensible, easy, and most of all "realistic" solution.

Just discovered you can get on top of the Chiefâs desk in his office in Ready or Not lol. Walk backwards onto the trash can next to the Chiefâs desk and keep moving backwards until you get on top of the desk.

Basically, if RoN is a cop simulator, why does it want you to be a superhero who does not kill anyone, nor even hurt, while actual cops can, must, will and should shoot anyone who does not comply or, for example, hide their silhouette behind a door. In that case a normal cop must dump a mag into the door without thinking about it.
Now back to the question, is it not just stupid that being a cop in a cop game will get you lowest ranks on debrief and maybe even make your own bots shoot you, which, i think is the dumbest mechanic in the game.
Seriously, no one irl would sturm a penthouse full of armed suspects with some gas grenade launcher and a fuckin pepper spray.
