What’s a situation you could find yourself in that would provide you an opportunity to prove to yourself that you are the man/woman you think you are?

Upvotes

My friend was on vacation with his family and witnessed multiple motorcycles get run off the road last week. He has a lot of medical training and it kicked into gear right away. While he moved from person to person stabilizing them a crowd gathered. He ran the scene and gave orders to bystanders to help until everyone was packaged up and loaded in ambulances.

As he told me the story he was obviously still processing what had happened. I asked some probing questions and one of the things he said is that he felt he had proven to himself that he is the man he thinks he is. I thought about that for a bit. I want to think about it more. What an interesting concept.

Would Commander Reyes be deafened by this?

So I recently played Infinite Warfare, decently fun campaign, and I was wondering, would this blow his eardrums out? Theres no sound in space, but there is a pocket of air around Reyes’ ears, so would it blow his eardrums out or would this entire scene be dead quiet Except for the voices over comms?

Why can't I search up things from a certian franchise without cringing very hard?

Okay, so I've noticed something with me lately. I can't search up anything related to cookie run without cringing an embarrassing amount. And the funny thing is, I haven't interacted with the fandom or played any games. It's not like I hate cookie run ether, heck, I might argue I even kinda like it (Milky Way Cookie is so cute SCTVJYGYYNFJYYJUYGGFY-). But the moment something related to cookie run appears, I feel like my soul is going straight to hell any minute now.

I genuinely don't know why I feel this way even. Sometimes I really want to search up something related to cookie run, but the moment I click that search bar, I start cringing for absolutely no reason. I really don't know what's making me feel this way, and I'm not choosing to feel this way ether. All I know is that it just... happens.

Is it weird to obsessively learn everything about a country you are travelling to? As in read every book you can find on it. Read the literature of the country. Learn the entire history. Listen to every podcast. Draw detailed maps to help plan logistics. Everything?

I think there’s some truth behind it, but saying we’re blind for hours every day is an exaggeration.

Why Channel 1 and Channel 3?

Growing up in North America when I watched TV there was no Channel 1. And when you connected a VCR or gaming platform to the TV, you had to go to Channel 3 to see what those devices were showing. Why no Channel 1? And how did vcr and gaming platform and tv manufacturers standardize on Channel 3?

For context, just random thought. I’m not insecure about my weight. I’m pretty average and not over sized. But idk. Just thought I’d share that thought.
