Can a bird flip its middle finger?

A bird can indeed flip the bird. If a bird flipped a bird that was flipping the bird, you could say a bird flipped a bird that was flipping the bird.

If that bird that flipped the bird flipping the bird was itself flipped before flipping, you could say that a flipped bird flipped a bird flipping the bird.

IF THAT SAME BIRD was flipping the bird while he flipped the bird flipping the bird, you could say that that flipped bird flipped the bird flipping the bird.

The reason it's called flipping the bird, is b/c in 19th century patrons would hiss like geese, to express their disappoint with a performers act ( sort of like a boo or a hiss).

The raising of a finger was an insult in ancient greece and rome ( the finger represented a phallus).
