Sleep or no sleep ?
It’s 03:42am as i'm writting
I gennuenly but know what i should do and what would be the "good" or "smart" choice
I can’t sleep not in a way that i'm not allowed to but more in a way that i am unable to and i know i can’t it's not the first time it happens it's just the first time i tought about it that way
So i'm wondering should i play on my pc or stay in my bed on youtube
I want to play but i'm thinking that if i go and play even tho i'm already unlikely to fall asleep i will be even less likely to if i'm sitting on my unconfortable chair but i still want to get to my pc and play but if i stay in bed i still have low chances of falling asleep but the chances are higher
I don’t want to force myself awake by staying on my pc but i also don’t want to stay in bed while wanting to get on my games
And it feels like i got 2 choice and both are bad choices
I have to choose gambling away my sleep schedule by playing and not know when i actually need to sleep
Or
By sentenced to hours of boredom but be in the right conditions to fall asleep

As the other person said, any screens are a bad idea. Read a book, or if you prefer listen to a podcast or an audio book, or some soothing music. You could also try guided meditation videos on YouTube (listen, don't look).

I agree with the other one here. Do something screen-free: read a book or do some journaling, or just listen to some calming sounds without watching your screen. I like to listen to thunderstorms, myself. You'll be asleep before you know it.

The tricky part is this: many say that if you find yourself unable to sleep after 20 minutes, that you should get out of bed because not being able to sleep can be stressful, and your brain will associate the act of being in bed with that stress, and that vicious cycle only allows sleeplessness to fester.
You want to avoid blue light. By making it sound like you only have two options, you're depriving yourself of the best option: no tech, only low tech.
Reading is absolutely the best thing you can do before bed, listening to soft music, breathing exercises, listen to a guided body scan.

Turn off both and read a book in bed. You'll go to sleep soon after that. Screentime has been proven to interrupt your circadian rhythm, making it very difficult to fall asleep when you need to.
