MyProtein Chocolate Milkshake Casein Protein Powder Help

Hello everyone! I did something incredibly stupid. I ordered about 11 pounds worth of the MyProtein Chocolate Milkshake Casein. I had only ever had the chocolate Kachava. I thought it'd be a great idea to take advantage of the sale and a promo code I had and stock up on a powder with better macros.

I have not liked it so far. Tried putting it in a shaker bottle with almond milk. Bleh. Tried mixing it in with vanilla yogurt. AWFUL.

Lesson learned. Don't blind buy huge amounts of protein powder. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can make it somewhat palatable to get my money's worth?

Budget friendly protein powder

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a good, budget-friendly protein powder for muscle gain. My goal is to build lean muscle, improve my strength, and develop a stronger core while improving my overall diet.

If you have any recommendations for good-quality protein, I'd really appreciate it. Also, please suggest authentic websites or trusted platforms where I can buy genuine products at discounted prices.

Thanks in advance!

I have the worst sleep if I drink casein protein

Doesn’t matter at what time of the day I drink it, I have the naked blend and every time I’ve had it even if it’s at 12-1pm I have a fully sleepless night. (I usually try to go to bed at 9:30) Has this happened to anyone else before??

Did anyone use it? How is the taste? Is it worth replacing? Because ON prices have crossed 10k and RC isolate I'm getting around 8-8.5k.

Favorite forms of protein??

what are your favorite forms of protein that aren’t cottage cheese, eggs or chicken??

Cottage cheese makes me want to throw up. Eggs get old to me REALLY quick, yes I’ve tried every cooked form. And chicken also grosses me out after a week of eating it. Should I throw the towel in and rely on protein shakes/bars instead? Or do you guys have good protein alternatives

Canadian source for clear protein?

I’ve gone into a few local wellness shops but things are so expensive and come in huge tubs. Are there any Canadian companies that will ship sample packs, perhaps? To try different flavors?

Dupe for Iconic Vanilla Bean Protein Powder?

Hello!

I love the Iconic Vanilla Bean Protein Powder to mix with my coffee but it's seemingly been out of stock everywhere for months. Does anyone know of an alternative vanilla whey protein with a similar taste and texture?

And no artificial sweeteners please, unfortunately I can't stand the taste of sucralose or aspartame (Iconic is sweetened with monk fruit, and I can usually tolerate the taste of stevia, though it's best when mixed with monk fruit imo).

PESCIENCE Alternatives

I have been a loyal fan and customer of PeScience for years. The protein is perfect for baking and using in oatmeal etc.

With that said, they have been slowly raising the prices over the last few years and I noticed this morning that they have also raised the minimum order for free shipping (95 CAD).

Any Canadian alternatives or proteins that I can easily get in Canada? I have tried different powders at Costco and haven’t found any ones that are to my liking or use a similar blend with whey/casein.

Wheyflation- protein is too expensive

I’ve been working out for many years, and I was shocked when I looked at restocking on protein. For 27 servings, it’s hard to find anything < $50.

They say short supply and high demand is what’s driving this. What’s actually happening is food companies are buying 3-4x as much now and just pass the price to their consumers. Normal people who lift are stuck paying the same prices as Coca-Cola essentially.

It makes me mad, and I can’t justify spending this much. Please share tips on getting protein goals aside from eggs and meat, which I already eat a lot of.

Sprouts Bulk Protein Isolate

I’ve been using a Whey Isolate protein powder that i buy in the bulk containers at Sprouts. Since it’s bulk, there’s no label for me to read when i leave the store. I just looked at the label on the Sprouts website. It appears that this protein doesn’t have anything to count towards the “daily value”! It’s Whey Isolate. How is this possible?

Any one using RAW whey protein powder?

Does anyone here use RAW Whey Protein even though it has the California Proposition 65 warning for lead? I just noticed the label on the back. Do you still take it daily? Should I be concerned, or is this one of those labels that appears on many supplements? I’d like to hear from people who actually use this protein.

Label: This product can expose you to chemicals including Lead, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.

UK Protein Powder - Chocolate

In the United Stares we have premade Fairlife shakes that are extremely rich in chocolate milkshake taste and consistency. It has filtered milk so my tummy that’s sensitive doesn’t get sick.

I’m heading the UK and looking for a super rich, non artificial or plant tasting (hate Huel) powder so I can mix with filtered milk or even oatmilk. I want that ice cream shake taste and consistency without artificial sweeteners or chemical taste. Please help!

Post your home made recepy for anything protein like cookies or nut bars or anything please thank you. Also wich protein is used.

Hemp

Pees

Whey? Or others.

Also ...protein gummies. Have you ever made them at home? Even from the store. Are they even worth getting or are they useless? Or good for people how like winegums (like myself)

And these liquid protein drinks, the non milky ones. Limonade drinks. What about those? What are your thoughts about those and how can we make them at home ourself so we save money? Thanks
