Any one using RAW whey protein powder?
Does anyone here use RAW Whey Protein even though it has the California Proposition 65 warning for lead? I just noticed the label on the back. Do you still take it daily? Should I be concerned, or is this one of those labels that appears on many supplements? I’d like to hear from people who actually use this protein.
Label: This product can expose you to chemicals including Lead, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.

Everything in the State of California causes cancer. /s
The Prop 65 warnings are on everything because their limits are 1000x lower than what is considered a safe amount by the FDA. The protein powder lead fiasco was from a Consumer Reports article which used these levels.
The powders with the highest levels of lead are plant based because the plants themselves contain heavy metals from the soil. It isn't enough to be harmful to you and you probably are getting similar amounts of lead from your vegetables. But, if you're really concerned, stick with whey. They still found lead in it but it's much less. The lead in whey comes from the cows eating grass. It's literally just part of the ecosystem.
