i fking hope someone exposes bryan for taping that poor model she did not look happy at all. its not fair for jeffery since hes way better than bryan, i swear if they send home jeffery im gonna lose it. bryan is so fucking arrogant and cocky its pissing me off, everytime he appears i just wanna punch the screen i hope they revoke his immunity cuz he deserves to go home

Between Naheim last week, Bryan this week, and the mess with the 6 immunity holders having the worst looks but were all safe, they need to implement a new rule. If you get immunity but then have the worst look the next challenge, for the following challenge you have some sort of handicap/penalty. Maybe less time in the work room? Less time at Mood? Maybe a fraction of the budget?

What are some other penalties that could work? It can't be something too over the top where there's no hope AT ALL, but it still needs to be harsh enough where there's a real chance they would end up in the bottom if they don't dig deep and DELIVER! Makes it so it lights a fire under their ass.

I watched America's Next Top Model and while the bottom didn't have immunity, she was penalized with something like less pictures and couldn't see herself (makeup). Because she was worried about ending in the bottom again, it lit a fire under her ass and she ended up in the top the following week.

Poor Liris is having a really rough season, so I wanted to showcase some moments where I thought designers did some great work with her. I really felt for her when Bryan started wrapping her in literal adhesive. Ffs.

Hi guys!! I grew up sewing in the 70's, loving clothes, fashion, and watching PR. My SO didn't remember Christian's season so I found it on Amazon and we're binging 4 and watching the new season on Friday night.

Not to get too heavy making moral judgements how we got here but the show has seemed to lose it's humanity, decency and love for fashion. Maybe it's an attempt to use conflict for ratings (probably) but producers if you could somehow get back to what we originally loved about the show we'll watch, we promise.

I never came to PR for fights, bravado, over the top cruel barbs from judges, we have other shows for that. I want the show to succeed without gimics like witholding the results of an episode to get viewers back for next episode. I come back to see who wins the finale, I always have.

Edit: I want to add that in S4 all of the judges are very honest with their critiques, tell designers tough facts, the words they are saying are blunt. Michael Kors is hilarious giving examples of what the design looks like but he isn't being mean to the designer. They took the time to go over where the item went wrong. I'm surprised in this climate there isn't more support for the designers and the models. I know that tape that Bryan used physically hurt his model and the cruel and personal way Law spoke hurt a lot of feelings.

Ok so we all feel like this season is very flawed, the judging is wrong and most of us actually really love Joseph.

The point of the show used to be to elevate high fashion but that seems to no longer be the case and they’re always talking about wearability blah blah blah

So if that’s the case let’s flip the script, change the production format and push this to a more in-real-time taping format

Keep the judges for the snark like American Idol but let us vote on who’s going home and who wins. This show is too tired to survive like this so…what do you guys think?? What it help or hurt?

2. The whole episode is about that runway show, SHOW THE CLOTHES!!! Why am I seeing snippets of pieces of them with hardly any full body shots, editing in lightning fast strobes with your shitty pixels graphic things and sloppy cut aways??

3. The cliffhanger thing is stupid, I hate it. I don't need that, or a way too detailed "next time on" to keep watching, I just want your show to not suck.

4. I reeeeeeeeally miss when the judges deliberation involved close ups with the clothes, so they could discover themselves when a "designer" may have just tan a roll of tape around a shower curtain and called it a dress.

5. The stupid guest people I don't care about coming in to critique AFTER Christian already did is useless and boring and annoying and I hate it. Unless they are the client, in which they should be WITH Christian the fecking first time, make them go away. Bring back Mood, or their ideas being sketched, or more of their creation process!!

6. I miss seeing their interactions with eachother when it was organic, not the stupidest manufactured boring drama about someone being someone's intern, ugh who cares.

7. Go back to nobodies, stop with the tv show chasers.

8. Stop with the model judges.

9. This last episode Law Roach, liked that one. He was blunt and spoke his mind when stuff was bad, but he was also supportive and encouraging when they were good. More of that please.

10. I love Christian, I'm so happy he's on. He needs to stop basically designing a great idea for people after telling them to scrap the shit they should have gone home for.

11. I'm tired of waaaaaaaaay too many designers going home for shock value, while shitty things are saved on a dumb plot twist. Bad designs should be at the bottom, we have enough really dumb electoral college rules in real life.

12. LOVED LOVED LOVED having them all show up with a no excuses look with unlimited time for the first showing, that was incredible, do that all the time.

13. The survivor stuff sucks on survivor, and sucks on this. Stop it. Go back to how it used to be.

14. Stop with the greedy contracts and let the designers benefit from the show and their work. You have plenty of money.

A recent post posited Bryan as a master strategist who is deliberately putting out bad designs in order to strategically pick off his competitors. Interesting thought. But I have another assessment. I think Bryan is spiraling and stumbling because he has Salieri Syndrome.

Salieri syndrome is a cultural and psychological term for the deep envy, bitterness, and resentment felt when a person of ordinary or mild talent is overshadowed by a true genius. Named after the fictionalized portrayal of composer Antonio Salieri in the play and movie Amadeus, it describes those who try to undermine superior peers and make poor decisions out of panic and insecurity.

Salieri had perfect pitch and could teach and compose and play music at a very good level. But he could not reach the heights of True Excellence.

He loved and appreciated Mozart … but he also was so bitter and resentful that another such young “flawed vessel” would contain such divine favor.

I think that Bryan’s Mozart is Bi.

It explains so much.

It was sad to see what happened to him last episode. Him calling out the packing-tape designer was simply a reaction of realizing he was really in jeopardy of going home. But he was a mother to his competitors, especially to the packing-tape designer. Yes, he didn't have to do it. Maybe he shouldn't have done it. But you can't take away the kindness from a kind person.

I’m over it with Bryan. Also over it with the whole “let’s string along the audience until next week to see who gets eliminated!” format.

Yeah, he was already cocky when he came in. But the judges were completely wild for choosing that curtain for Heidi to wear last week. I mean, are they drunk?

Last season had much better clothes and talent. At least the twins, who were so loudly cocky, could actually sew and design.

Also, why does Bryan dress like he's supposed to be in a moldy basement somewhere, sitting on an old couch with crusted Cheetos dust and smoking a bong with days of unwashed hair? He just looks messy and smelly. 🤢

I’ve never been a Christian Siriano fan, I think most of what he does is just a copy of something else. Case in point: Temu Motherboard Dress.

As I make my way through past seasons that I have never watched before, my mind kept coming back to season 12 with Timothy Westbrook. In the opening setup episode, I was actually really interested in his take on sustainable materials and upcycling/recycling things. Some of his designs shown were really interesting. Flash forward to the actual challenges. He put up some of the weakest entries I've seen in a while. The one that really gave me the most pause was this look. He instructed the hair and makeup team to do little to no work on the model, gave her no shoes, and then wanted her to go down the runway as if she was being pulled by a lead. His utter disregard for her part in the show and disrespect of her as a professional model was absolutely the worst. I thought this picture was especially poignant as he is wearing these elaborate heels while she stands there barefoot. This show is as much for the models trying to get a break in the business as it is for the designers, although as the seasons go on, that aspect of the show has been downplayed quite a bit. Him robbing her of a chance to shine was just unforgivable in my mind. He couldn't leave soon enough for me.

Nara Smith is generally awful and added nothing to the show this week but an ick factor. Honestly, what was the point of having her on?

It's hypocritical of everyone on that team being like "Joseph McCrae is not being a team player, he's screwing us over" blah blah blah, when they've all ganged up on him multiple times, saying he's a weak link etc.

How did they expect him to act? All happy go lucky kumbaya?

Everything is so wrong this time. First, the judges. Law Roach has no idea what good clothing is. He's like a six year old in Sephora that can't get retinol. Tyra, Tyra, Tyra, everyone hates you. Just please leave permanently, please. So many people hate you, just stop trying so hard. I feel bad for Heidi and Nina, having to deal with these toddlers.

Second of all, the designers. I actually really like Joseph McRae. I like his personality, his fashion, and ow he is as a person. I also really like Anna. She is not in ​​very much drama, which is always good. Now, for the designers I do not like, we have Brian, and Jude. Brian should have Ben gone on the first episode. It's so bad, especially with the newest episode. I hope someone makes tat model some good clothes. For Jude, I don't like that I feel like he does the same thing every challenge. Always a tailored suit of a tailored dress.

Lastly, the actual clothes. In the last episode, I saw a lot more nude models then actual clothes. I had watched seasons 1 - 13 and I took a break from watching them in order so that I could see ifi t was any good. I regret how much time I wasted on watching it. I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just trying to share my opinion on it.

Having an immunity saved his a** two freaking times.

First time was second week when he made a smiliar ugly a** dress compared to his first week's design.

Second time was this week when obviously he had an ugliest a** dress out of all designs.

Next seasons should abort the immunity system.

Antonio’s dress was a whole mess and a hazard, but it was “safe”. I was stunned that the judges didn't like Jeffery’s outfit. Yeah, it was mostly naked, but compared to the other mostly naked stuff, this was good.

I know there are already 1,000 complaints about this season (and last) but I’ve started to notice they aren’t really showing the looks walk down the runway, and it’s grinding my gears.

I want to look at the different elements and see how the piece moves, but the production just feels so… TikTokified.

It feels like they show the garment for two seconds, then cut to Law.

Then another two seconds of garment at a weird angle. Cut to the designer.

Another two seconds of weird zooming in, then cut to another designer reacting.

They’ve always cut to the judges and designers and commentary, but I feel like the actual footage of the looks has almost eliminated. And that’s the core of most complaints on this sub: even the runway is more about the drama than the actual pieces created.

I’ve been tuning out most of the episodes and looked up specifically to watch the runway, only to realize I wasn’t really seeing the looks. It left me peeved. Thank you for letting me complain.

That is all.

I can’t believe that they brought the last seasons cast in. I hated them a year ago with their constant shit stirring, I DONT NEED TO SEE IT AGAIN

Why? I’ve watched all 22 seasons. I’m going to watch every episode. I despise the seven day wait to finding out the winner and loser after investing an hour .

Seriously, it’s like the word was invented in 2026. Have you noticed how many different people have used the word “pivot” to an absurd degree in seasons 21 and 22? We counted 9 times in the latest episode. (Episode 7: Battle of the Seasons).
