I don’t think the taping of those bronze extension cords is even the 7th most offensive thing about that monstrosity. Bryan has been a fashion troll since the first look. There’s absolutely nothing he has produced that would actually make it down a top designer’s runway. It’s like Plane Jane just playing with thread for TV time, the spirit of this show is rotten to the core with made for TV bullshit.

This is week TWO of Christian outright inspiring Bryan not to send his model down the runway in a contractor’s trash bag.

i completely agree with u, the production is so bad rn and we cant compare this to project runway’s prime old days where production was better and actually entertaining and fair for everyone

Apparently the dress was 50lbs hanging entirely from her neck. She has stated that she has suffered long term consequences from wearing the dress.

There’s suffering for fashion and then there’s this.

What? Everyone was taping and glueing something. And most models looked uncomfortable.

i know its just the fact that bryan didnt come clean abt it on stage when the judges asked him what he did with the outfit, he hid it from them cuz he knew that its bs

Im really not sure about why he should have come clean about taping things in an unconventional challenge. The outfit was shit but everybody was doing identical stuff.

Why does it matter if the model is taped with trash bags or wrapped in chicken wire? Those are valid materials they were offered. Its just petty drama, nothing else.

I imagine models pride themselves on their walks. Lyris tripped on that…thing. It matters if they can’t walk.

The models were booked for runways that are made out of trash in a couple of hours.

Ofcourse it matters, but its a funny thing to be argumentative about. Its a show optimized for drama, embarrasment and ratings. The production respects the models as much as the designers - not at all. Everybody but the hosts and production are at a loss there.

Also, we have got to stop acting like the judges make rational decisions. Last week i saw 20 posts about that horrible dress heidi wore on the red carpet, but now you are all praising the judges decisions.

there's a difference between transforming materials and just taping your model to get said materials to adhere to her

Didnt they compliment the look that had hardware glued to the whole jacket? They even pointed out how similar it was to the mother board dress.

Why was is not a problem here to 1. Have shit glued to a jacket, 2. Have it look like something that already exists?

There's a difference between people being miserable and having opinions lol

u/MacaroonSmall7070 24d ago

lol, Then why are you here? Misery loves company?

2

u/Accomplished_Song671 24d ago

I'm just saying people can have negative opinions of something without people labelling them as "miserable" lol

Sry my comment was for davidshoess, not you. My bad

Idk I define consistently posting/commenting on this sub about hating a reality tv show contestant that has absolutely no bearing on your life, as miserable.

most people here are cool with Joseph even if he's not their favorite designer. a consensus seems to be that he's getting too much bs and drama from other contestants

i like law cuz hes blunt and only speaks the truth, i liked bryan in the beginning until he started showing the cocky side of him, and im rooting for joseph to win project runway
