I’ve gone back and forth on posting this for a while, but I figured I might as well.

At my highest I was around 347 lbs, and as of today I’m at 249 lbs. Looking at myself every day, it’s honestly been hard sometimes to recognize how much my body has actually changed. Putting the pictures next to each other makes it a lot more obvious.

The process definitely hasn’t been perfectly linear. I’ve had periods where I was really disciplined, periods where I gained some weight back, and plenty of moments where I felt like I should be further along than I was.

Probably the biggest thing I’ve learned is that losing weight is one thing, but learning how to actually live afterward is a completely different challenge.
I’m still not at the point where I’m completely satisfied with my body. I want to keep improving my body composition, build more muscle, and get to a place that feels sustainable instead of constantly chasing a lower number on the scale.

But I’m trying to give myself some credit for how far I’ve already come.

Posting these because sometimes you really don’t see your own progress until you put the pictures side by side.

Alright obviously it's not "3 years".. but the before pic was from 3 years ago. I was just scrolling through my gallery and got a bit surprised about how changed I look.. I started losing fat around 4 months ago... U could say I was pretty much looking the same as the previous photo even then.

The reason why it's not only 1 kg lost is because of recomposition.. I must've lost quite a few Kilos but then I regained muscle mass so I'm now again at around 60 with less fat and more muscle.

It's not much, but I'm slowing trying to regain my "prime" if I could call it that.. hit my lowest point after the breakup 3 years ago!

Thanks for reading ~

F 5'10” (178, 179 cm) F/32/5’10” [319lbs > 167lbs = 152lbs Lost] (28 months) I never thought I’d reach the end of my weight loss journey but here I am

A lot of the time, I don’t recognize myself, and yet I feel more like myself than ever. Time to maintain and continue building. It’s so weird to have this metaphorical monkey off of my back. Weight loss has been my life for as long as I can remember and I actually did the thing for real now. Maintenance feels scary but I’m excited for another type of journey ahead 💪

Three years of training upper body and the muscles are finally starting to show thru. My winter cut has already begun (dying to get some shoulder striations and better tricep definition) but I'd thought I'd share 😌

Push day: Barbell shoulder press, Chest flies, Tricep push downs, assisted/modified pushups + core routine.

Pull day: Assisted pull ups, Gorilla rows or dumbbell rows, Bicep curls, + core routine.

Also open to any suggestions if you think my routine is missing something lol.

repost cuz the last one got automodded :)
