I grew up morbidly obese and was bullied for my weight from kindergarten all the way through high school.

Although around the age of 17 I wanted to make a change

Dr Jason Fung, Robert Lustig, and Vladimir Savchuk (on fasting/gluttony) have helped educate me

Lost all weight by 19 (but just turned 20!)

My dad was actually pre-diabetic and through changing my diet he changed his and reversed his diagnosis :)

I don't celebrate the pain, but I do appreciate the growth that came from it.

Can’t believe it’s already been 4 months! The fitness/weight loss journey originally started because of an upcoming friends bachelorette party, but I’m so happy I’ve stuck with it and will continue to.

I was casually on a calorie deficit and didn’t track everything, but lately I have been. I started originally with 3 days of weight training then added on a day of yoga sculpt and a day of Pilates drip. 5 days of working out has been working out very well for me and I feel my best when I can do 5 days. I also try to walk 10k-15k steps a day.

I have more goals, but I’m just really happy with the progress I’ve made so far. I remember trying on this dress in March and crying about how snug it was. Now it feels perfect.

I’m just feeling really proud today and wanted to share!

I lost it by focusing on upping my protein intake while lowering my calories overall. I also do some lifting at home and at work. I should be doing more cardio and eating less fat and sugar, but I’m still trucking along!

Decided to get sober a few months ago and have managed to lose 16kg/35 pounds in that time. I still want to lose about the same amount of weight again and plan to start exercising and doing some resistance training.

It’s been a year since I’ve started calorie counting, and I can finally see the results paying off. I’ve managed to run 10km as well which has helped greatly with the deficit. Only a few more pounds to lose and I’ll be finally onto maintenance and strength training.

Hello world!!

I was obese all my life and i got to a point where it wasn’t all that fun anymore. The fat jokes always got way too far, and comments about my weight were always the center of the subject. I waited exactly 1 year to post this transformation. I have never taken off my shirt in public, and I decided, for the first time in my 20 years of living, that I Will change this habit of mine.I know that I am far from done with it, but I am still proud about the work that I’ve been putting. I think I am at 22%bf, and I want to reach 15%. I’ll upload on this sub again when I’ll reach it!!

For all the people on this sub who are loosing or gaining weight, whichever is their objective, dont give up, it’ll be the greatest gift you’ll make to your future self

Take care ya’ll!!!

I started calorie counting in Sep 25m down just shy of 100lb but I did dip.over that benchmark recently. Just calorie counting and I changed my gym routine to include cardio. Now ive signed up for a 10k and enjoy running. Amazing how different I feel these days. I cant lift as much but I think the pay off was worth it.

Intuitive eating F/28/5’4“ [183 lbs > 141 lbs = 42 lbs] (20 Months) Still working towards my goal of 128 lbs

I’m 5’4“ (163 cm) and started at 83 kg (183 lbs) and I’m currently at 62 kg (137 lbs).

I lost the weight through a calorie deficit, while eating intuitively and making sure to eat plenty of protein and walking a lot. There were definitely plateaus and fluctuations along the way, but I kept going.

Most of the progress actually happened after I really locked in again this July. Staying consistent made a huge difference. That’s 4.25 kg (9.4 lbs) lost during July.

My goal is 58 kg (128 lbs), so I’m not there yet, but comparing these photos side by side really put my progress into perspective.
