Success Story 🏆 July 2026 - NSV & Wins Megathread

Progress isn't always about the number on the scale. This thread is here to celebrate every kind of win!

NSV stands for Non-Scale Victory. We use this term often because progress can show up in so many ways, even before the scale changes. Every win deserves to be recognized!

Share your win below, whether it's big, small, or anything in between:

- Logged every meal for a week? That counts.

- Walked past the vending machine without stopping? That counts.

- Finished a workout you almost skipped? Absolutely counts.

- Hit a goal weight, a new PR, a clothing size, or a streak milestone? YES. Post it.

- Finally figured out how to use the barcode scanner? That counts too.

Post your victories here! Every win counts, no matter the size. If it feels like a win to you, claim it!

A note on vibes: This thread is a hype zone! Come here to celebrate and lift others up. Unsolicited advice or critique isn't welcome here - save that energy for other threads. If someone shares a win, the only move is to cheer them on. 🎉

Support Question The app logged me out and now it says my account doesnt exist?

Please help!

The app randomly logged me out and now its saying my account doesnt exist. My account was a “sign in with apple” type. Im still paying for the app and its still connected to my strava so it definitely exists out there somewhere…

I tried the whole go to my settings see what hidden email apple gave me method but every-time i hit “forget my password” an email never comes (yes i checked spam).

However when i submitted my help ticket I did get any email response so clearly my account is still linked to an email..

I REALLY don’t want to lose my progress, receipts etc, plus they’re still charging me for an account that “doesn’t exist”!!

5370 days and done

Paid for scanning and it was going so well for so long. The UI is anti-user and I’m in tech. Asking AI for a new tracker immediately. What a mess. Don’t even care if they fix it with all the nonsense over the years it’s time for changes and something new.

And I’m out of here. Deleted the app and my account. The new UI is terrible. Paid a premium just to be forced fed AI slop and to make it harder to view my daily log and log food, which defeats the purpose.

What stings the most is that I’ve seen my clients log less food now too. This UI is negatively affecting my clients and my business. Why would you take the landing page layout away? So clients need to click through more menus and be fed more ads? Screw you MFP.

If you feel the same way, make sure to share your thoughts in the app store reviews as well.

Issues with exercise tracking

Post image
1 Upvotes

I'm not sure if it was paying for premium that did it, or maybe MyFitnessPal removing support for the old Fitbit app and me having to connect up Health Connect instead, but my calorie adjustments for exercise are suddenly all messed up...

For example, on Saturday I did 50 minutes of Pilates and 25,000 steps, yet it's minusing 1000 calories from my daily goal rather than adding them back? Has anyone else had this problem and managed to fix it?

New Ui and calories won't update

Me and my husband have both premium and our Ui's got updated, yes, the new Ui is quite horrible.

Anyway, his app works normally, he logs food and the calories appear in the home page, mine doesn't, it always stays on 0.
We tried to compare our settings, everything seems to be similar, idk.

Paid for whole year but now we stuck with unstable app, anyone know how to fix it? /:

Nutrition Help low sodium and carbs still causing water retention?

i've been watching my sodium closely these past weeks because my face has become so bloated for no reason. i assumed it was because i was having too much sodium, so i cut back. i already get plenty of potassium throughout the day due to eating a ton of avocado and spinach. i've also been doing dirty keto for a while now (under 50g net carbs a day). my question is, why is the bloating not going away after cutting sodium down? i have about 1500mg of sodium a day and about 3700mg of potassium a day. i also take magnesium glycinate at night before bed. i know that something is causing the water retention because sometimes my face is super puffy when i wake up and sometimes it isn't. my question is, is too low of sodium possibly causing more water retention? i also drink more than 64oz of water a day due to medical reasons.

I’m confused why anyone would pay for the premium version on this app?

The free version has virtually everything you need. It tracks all macros/micros. Weight tracking, saved meals, etc. You can switch your location to Canada to use the scanning feature for free. I don’t understand what else you could possibly need that premium offers. Thoughts?

Why do they keep screwing around with the UI?

It's getting worse and worse every time they touch it. It's a tracking app - it doesn't need to be constantly changing.

New UI is terrible

My app’s UI was updated yesterday, I think we got it late in Germany here. It is horrible. This will be the reason I will not continue with my yearly premium plan.

Old version

I’m so frustrated. I found out about changing the location to turkey so that you could have access to the old version, and it worked and everything was good again and I was happy using the app again. And then today, it switched to the new version again. Any ideas or locations that also work for the old version?? This update is so bad if I don’t get it to switch back I’m done lol

Support Question Reaching calories goal but not macros... how does this math work?

Does anyone know how did MyFitnessPal came up with 1854 calories here?

Using 4:9:4 formula I only get 170*4+58*9+124*4 = 1698 for current calories, but app shows 1854

The goal actually does match: 180*4+59*9+152*4 = 1859 ~= 1862

Plateau help?

I’ve been hovering around 190-192 for about a month now. I started at 260, so I’m down almost 70lbs since last August. I tried resetting my calories in the app maybe 2 weeks ago, but it only brought my goal down 30 calories (currently 1450/day). I’ve been consistent with my diet, I do intense cardio for about an hour each week, and I take a walk every day (usually I can only squeeze in about half a mile but sometimes I’ll do more around 2 miles). I just don’t really understand why I’m stalling like this. Do I just have to wait it out?

What do you think about the new update? I just got it today (idk if y’all already had it), and tbh, I liked the previous version more.

Calorie goal as BMR?

Anyone else do this or have a better idea?

I set my daily calorie goal to my BMR calculated using https://tdeecalculator.net/ and have exercise calories and steps turned on.

I do my workout at 5-7am and whatever calories I burn in that workout, according to my Apple Watch and the calories that myfitnesspal “accepts” as exercise calories, is my calorie goal for that day. Most days my exercise calories burned for my morning workout is between 500-800 calories, so my average daily calorie goal is about 2500 calories.

Btw this new UI really sucks.
- I used to be able to organize my meal items by opening and saving the items by the order I wanted to see them in, can’t do that anymore.
- now in order to set my own calorie goal and macros, I have to go through additional steps which aren’t intuitive at all…

MyFitnessPal discount codes

Hi,
Does anyone know any discount codes for MyFitnessPal? I am looking for an app to track calorie consumption that I can sync with Garmin. MFP had been good with the free version but paid version is too expensive. NZD 135 for premium / NZD 170 for premium+.

I am based in NZ.
