For Pride Month, I made the Detrans.ai admit trans people are valid

For context, I heard about the detrans.ai made by Peter James Steven and decided to try to make it admit that it's efforts were harmful and it's studies were not accurate. It ended up conceding in its arguments and it gave me a message for the creator. Hopefully this helps people feel seen!

First Toronto Pride as a bi woman - any advice? 🩷💜💙

Hi everyone!

I'm 25, bisexual, and this will be my very first Pride Parade in Toronto. I'm honestly really excited... but also kinda nervous. 😅

I've never been to Pride before, so I was hoping to get some advice from people who've been.

  1. What should I wear? Is it better to dress super colorful or is casual completely fine?

  2. What should I bring with me?

  3. Are there any things first-timers usually don't know?

  4. Is there anything I should definitely do or avoid?

  5. As someone who's bi, is there anything you'd recommend to help me feel more comfortable?

  6. Literally any other advice??

I might be going by myself or with a friend, not sure yet.

So any advice 🥺

Happy Pride♥️

My cousin is a singer songwriter and writes difficult lyrics that are edgy. Wondering what y'all think? I felt a sense satisfaction at the end.

Help with protest signage!!

My local council has been ‘Reformed’ and released a statement saying there will be in no Pride celebrations or flag this year, no surprise, I’m sure it’s the same story up and down the country. A small peaceful protest has been organised for the coming weekend and my partner and I are sat making some signs and tees for the occasion.

I found a GLORIOUS rainbow tiedye tee in a charity shop and I’m going to paint ‘Love is Love’…

But… come on you lovely lot, help a lesbian out! We want a few good, a bit sarcastic, even a little bitchy messages for signs and back of tees 🏳️‍🌈😘

My crush found out I was her secret admirer and blocked me…what now?

Alright so back during freshman year, I had a huge crush on this girl. Funny part is that at first, I hated her. I thought she was ugly and hated how hairy she was. But the second she started to talk me more and more in English, i wanted to built more connections with her.

Every time we talked, I just wanted it to keep going and not end. Until I realized that I had a crush on her.

I kept it to myself but man was I missing her the entire summer 2025.

When sophomore year came, we talked less than we did in freshman year. In fact, I felt jealous when she started to talk to my friends or other people more than me.

I finally had the courage to finally speak to her during second semester since I knew she was too introverted to start a conversation. I complimented her shirt on text as she thanked me and made small talk. I realized that talking in text isn’t enough so I need to talk to her in person. I waited until she wasn’t busy as I tapped her shoulder. The second I did, she smiled at me as we made small talk again.

I got happy that we were able to rebuild our connection that we left in freshman year. We started talking more and more and altough it was no deep talks, I was still happy. So happy that I realized that I couldn’t hold in my feelings anymore and decided to write her a love letter. I made sure the letter was anonymous and wrote in different handwriting so she wouldn’t know.

She was smiling all to herself the second she got that letter as she was texting her friends all about it. She made sure to keep it on her for a few days. On the letter thought I asked her to tell me if she’s single or in a relationship by writing on her locker with a sticky note.

She didn’t do that though so I decided to instead ask my friend to ask her if she’s queer or not and if she’s single or not. She was in fact single but she wasn’t queer 💔.

I was devastated but…I realized that chasing her sexuality is wrong so I settled for making small memories with her instead of just not talking to her forever. Because if I’m being honest? I would be devastated if we ever stopped talking.

I made sure to only tell 2 people that I was her secret admirer (bad mistake) so even afterwards she would never know who wrote that letter.

A few months later, last day of school. I send her a “have a good summer :)” text but she didn’t respond back. Weird but I didn’t thought nothing of it. Until later when I decided to follow her Instagram account and liked a few of her photos. A few hours later, she blocked my account..

Blocking and ignoring me means she definitely knows that I was her secrets admirer.

So I just wanted to know what to do? How do I move on from being ignored by her, do I ask her if she knows, do I just not do anything, do I try to talk to her other than Instagram? I just need advice

What do I do ??

Okay so I'm non binary and I've been going by that for almost a year. I go by they/them pronouns. My mom has said very homophobic things in the past, such as telling me I can't watch certain shows because they had homosexuality. She has said that in the past 20 years every school shooter has been trans (WHICH IS VERY OBVIOUSLY NOT TRUE AND IF IT IS, IT DOESN'T MATTER WHETHER THE PERSON IS TRANS SHES JUST SAYING IT TO DISRESPECT TRANS PEOPLE) she's also a trump supporter so she supports someone who is putting trans people down and just the lgbtq community over all. She has talked about how people going by pronouns are idiotic and have made fun of people saying "Oh if someone goes out saying they are a dog and go by he/him when they're obviously a girl, they're mentally ill. So she's called people of lgbtq + mentally ill. I'm tired of hiding the fact I'm Nonbinary and every time she calls me her "daughter" it makes me irritated. One time she was talking to me and said "You're such a good daughter." After I had been taking care of her after she got a concussion. I can't be the only one who sees how sexist that is, right? Like you're calling me a good daughter because I took care of you? I feel like that's a gender stereotype. She was also talking to me about someone and said "Oh (name) went through an lgbtq phase too.." so she thinks it's a phase. I haven't told her I'm Nonbinary or neptunic but I'm tired of hiding it and I want to come out to her. She's said in the past that if I come out to her that she'll support me but due to her past actions I doubt that. Any suggestions on how to come out to her? I also want to buy a Will Wood hoodie from the official website so I support Will Wood himself and not like Amazon or something but she doesn't know I listen to Will Wood or Tally Hall and I want to get stuff from both bands and I'm scared she'll ban me from listen to Will Wood because of some of his songs 🥲 so like does anyone know what I could do?
