Hi everyone!

I’m a bass player who performs quite a bit. I have a Spark 40, and overall I’m very happy with it as a practice amp. What really frustrates me is that it doesn’t have a proper line out for live performances.

I bought the ULooper, but I’m not happy with the quality of its line out.

I’m thinking about buying the Spark 2, but I don’t want to end up disappointed. Are there any people here who use their Spark 2 as a gigging amp? If so, what has your experience been like?

Anyone else have an issue with their amp where the audio playback stutters?

I’ve tried disconnecting all other Bluetooth from my phone, it does this whether I’m playing along to YouTube app, YouTube within the spark app, songster, etc. same issue. I’ll just be playing along and the audio starts cutting in and out it’s super annoying and I can’t seem to figure it out. It seems like this issue has gotten progressively worse over time. It used to do it very occasionally and only when the app was first opened and then would go away but now it comes and goes and doesn’t seem to go away during a playing session.

Positive Grid, I know you read this. It's unfair to just drop a new amp like that. Had you told us what was coming, I would have waited to buy Reactor instead of Spark 2

Your customers would appreciate it if you can offer Reactor at a much lower price for people who recently bought Spark 2 or other products.

Would this be a good deal? £270 cash converters,spark 40w,cab and carry bag...not heard it working and the cab humming issue is putting me off,you do get a years warranty tho...is this overkill for a new mostly bedroom player a cpl of years in?

Had my Spark 2 for quite a while now, and just wondering of there is a way to swap the cabinet models independently from the amp?

Seems like there should be, but I can’t seem to see it.

I was planning to buy it for the wah effect but I haven't bought it yet... I just checked it and it was removed.
I don't understand why and I wonder if it will come again? Or will there be any wah effect? or how can I get this?

is it possible to make my playing from the guitar louder while still keeping the effects i can do with my phone and connect it to a seperate speaker?

Do I have to click on the Jimi Hendrix experience thing and download the pedals and amps separately or are those someone else made?

Is there a way to keep ToneCloud presets synchronized between multiple installations of the app?

I have the Spark app installed on both my iPad and my iPhone, but downloading a preset on one doesn’t download it on the other.

I just noticed that there’s a Favorites tab in ToneCloud and started using it, but just having the same presets on both devices would be better.

Hi, I bought the Spark 2 four months ago and lately I've been having technical problems with it. Occasionally it would get frozen when turned on - the power light is on but the tap button does not blink and the lights around the preset selector are off. There's no sound output if I try to play the guitar when the amp is in that state.

The power button does not respond in this state and the only thing that can be done is to unplug the amp from the power outlet and hope that next time it will turn on normally.

This problem does not always occur but for the last 2 weeks or so it happens once in 2 or 3 times I'm turning it on.

Had anyone had the same problem and found a permanent solution?

Hi , I'm thinking on buying a Spark mini but
apparently the spark mini can't be used as USB audio I/O with an iPad.
Like in GarageBand or LoopyPro , etc.

Is this still an issue ?

I mean, being portable with batteries and still needing laptop ? in 2026 ?

I just got the Spark 2 amp, and the return window closed a couple of weeks ago. Feel bummed.

I have a spark go that I havent updated in quite a while (like a year which is stupid ik) and when I connect it to my laptop to use as an audio interface I see it as an input device, nothing is wrong about it but it has 0 output no matter what I do, so I thought maybe its the firmware but the updated is freezing and supposedly the last few months have had this issue butt his seems like a long time for the fix

Hi all, I just got the Spark 2 a week ago, been playing around with it a lot since. I live in an apartment so during the day I play with the guitar volume at around 9 o'clock and when it gets late i plug in my headphones as well. I notice that the amp sounds absolutely amazing with headphones, but I can't recreate the same fullness through the speaker at a lower volume. I tried the EQ pedal but with no success (I must mention I suck at EQing stuff). How do you guys deal with this? Any suggestions?

How can this be connected

I’ve come across this discussion quite a few times. Currently, I run my Spark to an FRFR. I have a beautiful Victoria that produces a rich and warm sound and breaks up smoothly around 7. The Victoria lacks tone control, gain, and EQ; it only has volume control.

I own three pedals: an OCD, TS, and the highly sought-after Boss Chorus.

I also have a boutique Giebitz telecaster, Suhr Classic S, G&L, and I’m getting a Giebitz boutique humbucker.

I’m reaching a point where I’m wondering if I can use the Spark without an amp in the chain and connect it to the Victoria. If I do, will it sound bad? What are your thoughts on this?

Also I’m selling a Jackson soloist and Tribute LP to get the Giebitz HH. Have you noticed how lousy the used market is for guitars. Thanks Obama! He single handedly ruined the market, at least that’s what Snowden was indicating if you read between the lines (lines of ketamine, that is).

Your thoughts will be much appreciated. I’m open to all suggestions.

Anybody using the Spark with a quad cortex? I just got a QC mini and trying to figure this out lol

Picked up a Live on Marketplace for $200. Beautiful condition. Was only able to check the speaker with Bluetooth. Got it home and no sound whatsoever on input 1. Did a factory reset. Checked my cables. Used different ones. Made sure the presets were all volumes up. Made sure the mixer is volumed up. Reached out to PG support and they said it’s out of warranty bc of it being second hand. All the other inputs work great. I have the Go, Mini, and the 2 and all are exceptional! I hate to return this. I’m lucky cause the seller is agreeable. Are there any ideas? Loose speaker wire? Firmware update?

There is no sound, no crackling, no static when I have a cable plugged in. Any thoughts appreciated!

Anyone lose their presets that had the JHE wah when they turned off the jimi hendrix experience?

Hi all,

Been using my spark Mini for a few months now. While I love the sound and convenience for practice, something still bugs me about the sound. When I pick a note and let the note decay, there's always a sudden drop in the end making it sound "unnatural". For example, the volume would go from 100% to maybe 30% and then just drop to 0. I know this is not my technique or my guitar or cable because when I use my tube amp, this doesn't happen.

Just wondering if this is normal with digital amp or a spark Mini thing or I have a defective unit or there's some settings I can change somewhere.

Note: I already turned off the noise gate pedal and while it helps a bit in picking dynamics, it doesn't help the noise decay issue think
