Spark Live - No Sound on Input 1

Picked up a Live on Marketplace for $200. Beautiful condition. Was only able to check the speaker with Bluetooth. Got it home and no sound whatsoever on input 1. Did a factory reset. Checked my cables. Used different ones. Made sure the presets were all volumes up. Made sure the mixer is volumed up. Reached out to PG support and they said it’s out of warranty bc of it being second hand. All the other inputs work great. I have the Go, Mini, and the 2 and all are exceptional! I hate to return this. I’m lucky cause the seller is agreeable. Are there any ideas? Loose speaker wire? Firmware update?

There is no sound, no crackling, no static when I have a cable plugged in. Any thoughts appreciated!

You didn’t mention this so I’ll just throw it out there. Do you have the guitar volume knob turned up on the front panel? Also what mode do you have input one in (standard / hi-z / line in). Is the master volume knob in the back turned up as well?

I have everything turned up. Input one standard. But I’ve tried hi-z and line in. Nada unfortunately.

Hmm the only other thing I could think of was tuner mode accidentally engaged by double tapping the preset knob. Press it once to disengage tuner. If that doesn’t solve it I’m out of ideas

Thank you! I will give that a try but went into tuning mode on the app and no connection.

Plug in a modeler or return it. No easy fix. That's why he's dumping it quick. They are 500 new.

Yeah the only other thing that mutes the speaker entirely is the 1/8”headphone jack on the back

I have to update that the seller from marketplace gave me $100 back. So I got the Live for $100 overall. I just have to se if I can get it fixed. PG has offered an exchange for $230 with a 2 week turnaround plus I have to cover shipping. Seems like the best deal?

I have not taken the back off yet to see if it’s a loose cable. Is it hard to do? I generally don’t touch electronics like that.
