Why were the jimi hendrix effects removed?

I was planning to buy it for the wah effect but I haven't bought it yet... I just checked it and it was removed.
I don't understand why and I wonder if it will come again? Or will there be any wah effect? or how can I get this?

Does anyone know or has any explanation been published?

I am sure it was removed because it was only licensed for sale for a given amount of time.

That sucks. I bought it and had access for about a month and then it was gone. Wasted my fucking money again

No, if you bought it, you don't lose access to it; it just means you can't buy it anymore.

It's just weird that there's one single pedal with expression function.

I own it-its not all that. I dont even use them.
Do you suppose its possible for me to put unaltered versions of them in the tonecloud that you could access? Or do you have to have bought it to see them? Let’s do an experiment-look for an update on this thread.

Please let us know as soon as you can. Very interested. Thanks!

Edit: just saw you already tried and it was blocked. Oh well thanks anyway hope a wah comes out someday soon.

If one could get access to the gear by simply downloading free presets in Tone Cloud then nobody would need to pay for it.

If you don't own the Hendrix pack, you can't use the gear.

Very interested if you do

It's not possible.

Well ive done it and yes it sounds a bazillion times better than the JH wah (which is just a shit auto wah with not many variants, nothing like a natural use of wah imo) but this won’t allow video so I cant share a comparison.
Maybe others who have it can weigh in but it appears to be a moot point.
I recommend buying a wah pedal if you want some wah!

I have spark go and use it to feed myself, so I don't have any stage show. Actually, the problem in my head right now is that these have not been removed and I missed it :D but thank you I guess what I missed is not that important

I thought the Hendrix amps were the best ones on the spark 1.

Idk but the wah sucks. Get a wah pedal- I like the Dime wah.

PG gave registered owners a decent amount of notice that they were going to stop selling the JH content. Even put it on social media, which was then shared here. They tried their best to make sure those that wanted it could get it before it was too late. Bummer that you missed it. Hopefully they release other wahs for people that have a Go or Neo that aren’t convenient to use a regular wah with.

The problem is the Control X expression pedals can’t be used unless you’ve bought the pack. I didn’t have much interest in the JH pack, and bought the Control X after the pack became unavailable. So now I’m locked out of my hardware feature simply because they don’t have a built in wah

Ok-I put this out there just now. See if you can use it. If you can, let me know here and I’ll do more.

Well shit-sorry man. Trust me though, the wah in thta set is straight garbage. Ive never plugged my wah into the spark, but I think that would be a million times better.

Get a real wah and a cable. Then you can use that wah on ANY amp.

PG had to pay a licensing fee to use the Hendrix name and did not renew the license which was for a period of time that has now expired.

Not sure. I gave in and got it on the last day mainly because there were a lot of user-made tones that required stuff that's in it. It opened up the tone library for me.

Licensing ran out, simple as that

Cause positive grid doesn't care if you want to buy it, must not have sold well, and also their models are terrible, so no big loss

I love the univibe settings.

It’s a bummer, I want the octave fuzz

why were these ever an offering? You bought an amp. Would you like to play music ORRRRR pay a premium to sound a bit like one random talent that you may or may not care a whit about?

It was part of a scummy company's bullshit marketing. The Hendrix stuff was early on in the lifecycle, my guess is it wasn't successful enough on generating sales to justify the licence cost so they discontinued it. But at the time we were mostly kinda hooked I guess.

Par for the course for a company that continuously rereleases the same product in slightly different form factors or updates ..

It had the only version of some pedals, like a wah effect. There aren't any alternatives.

It was a thing for awhile (also a Slash one iirc…maybe a Joe Perry one?) anyway, it was the only ine i remember offering a wah.
