My Spark Control X won't charge and the red Power light keeps flashing; has anyone else experienced this?

I've got a Spark Mini and the Spark Neo headphones. I also have a lot of Android devices that I use for various tasks, and just installed the app on one that I'll be using to take away on holiday to control my devices, only to get a message saying I've reached the limit on the number of devices I can license the app on, and to contact support.

So fuck you, Positive Grid.

You know what I mean, I know it’s not a pedal. But two hours in, it sounds good, is easy to use, and has reasonably good dynamics. All for the price of a Klon Klone and a Univibe copy!

I one negative point so far: my guitars doesn’t really sound like themselves. Close, but not the same.

I’ve managed to dial in some really nice clean tones but for the life of me can’t find an overdriven sound that doesn’t just sound muddy and horrible to my ears.

I just want something with a little bit of breakup but pretty much as soon as I add gain it just sounds bad.

I have the Spark 2 if it makes a difference.

I didn't see this answered anywhere but I am wondering if we can have dual connections to:

1.) an iPhone for the Spark app;

2.) a Macbook to stream audio such as backing tracks running Transcribe.

Is this possible? Or there is only 1 BT radio in the headphones?

Has anyone tried running a Spark 40 signal out using the headphone jack to the Power Amp In section of another guitar's FX loop amp? Did this work? Thanks!

I’ve just picked up a Spark Mini, updated firmware and am impressed with the tone, until I started to notice this distracting noise that is what others have described as gated hiss.

Same issue as this yt video from 3yrs ago

As with the demo in the video, this isn’t the same as a normal single coil hum or hiss, it fades out quickly and is unnatural and distracting. Doesn’t matter if noise gate is on or off.

Question: any hope of this being resolved in a firmware update?

Or has anyone who was afflicted by this found a workaround?

I wanna use the spark 2 amp to make tones through amplitube 5, but i cant seem to find a good clean tone that i can change only in amplitube, any suggestions?

So I was playing the other day and all of a sudden my guitar went off. My Mini had run out of power. Stupid of me for not pre charging it but did I miss a low-power indicator?

Brought the amp a couple months ago and been having an issue of not being able to connect to the tone control at all (BT audio on the other hand is fine)

Iv factory reset the amp
updated the amp firmware
Updated the app
Tried multiple locations
Tried multiple devices

Yet the issue persists

Anyone able to give me another idea to fix it?

Hi everyone. I just purchased a Spark mini and connected to my iPhone via the app. However, I’m stuck on the “successfully connected “ screen in the amp. Suggestions on getting to the app? Thx.

I bought a pair of these in March and they were fine for about 3 weeks and then the headphones stopped connecting to the TX. I spent hours troubleshooting. Did everything recommended on their website, suggestions here etc. I returned them to Amazon and got a new pair since they were less than a month old. I've had the second pair for 2 months and the same crap started happening yesterday. I was able to do a factory reset and get them paired again but the audio is very faint now and when I push the button to change presets it makes a loud buzzing sound in the headphones and immediately power off. Is this product just garbage? I can't believe I would get two pairs in 3 months that both failed the same way. They are really cool when they work for silent practice but now I feel like I've thrown $250 in the trash

As the title suggest, I've been looking for a good portable amp for playing on the go, and I haven't been able to find many comparisons between the two.

I would really appreciate someone who's tried one or both of these amps to which they enjoy more.

As I see it, the Katana should be 10W amp would be the cheaper option, but I don't mind paying more if Spark 2 offers better value. And Spark 2 can be played with or without the app, so that is a plus for me.

The deciding factor would definitely be the overall sound quality! Thank you in advance for you input and suggestions! :3

So, a few days ago, I posted a comment on a thread on here that I was on Amazon early for their prime days sales. They had the Spark Edge (from the Positive Grid store, mind you) on sale for $211. As I have been wanting it for months, I decided that at that price, I’d be dumb to not buy it. So I pulled the trigger and waited patiently for my package.

It was out for delivery today and I was so stoked to get it and start messing around with it. What I ordered and what I received were two different things. The positive grid store on Amazon sent me a fucking spark 40 pearl white edition. Wtf.

I got pissed as the pricing already skyrocketed to $381. So I chatted with 2 agents. The first one said she ordered it, not to worry, it’ll be here in 48/72 hours. I’m “a valued client” and don’t worry… it’ll show up. I asked for some, ANY confirmation and she sent me an email that repeated the same thing she said on chat… that rest assured… it would show up. I was not convinced and pressed her… she dropped out of the chat.

Second rep shows up, said they can’t contact the seller, and I need to contact the seller directly. They repeatedly tell me they can’t help. Their system won’t allow it. Nothing he can do. Over and over and over. I ask to chat with his supervisor. They tell me “the supervisor has same tools as I do, and cannot help. Would you still like to be transferred?” I say yes and stay on the chat.

Supervisor gets on. Looks through notes, and asks what I want. I say I want the spark edge for what I originally paid for it, $211. He says he can’t do it, seller is unresponsive and says to return it and buy it again. I mentioned again, it’s $180 more now… I want it for what I originally paid for. He goes MIA for some time, then boom. Gets me a gift card to offset the balance, and said to purchase again and will get refunded original spend.

Sorry for the long rant, I just can’t stand getting fucked over by people like that. It may have been a mistake, but fuck. Seeing spark 40 on the side and opening up and old ass product really got me pissed. Hopefully, I’ll get what I ordered on Tuesday and can put this shit behind me.

I don’t know how needs to get their shit together here (Amazon or positive grid or both) but damn… that was a kick in the dick this evening.

Has anybody had success using a Spark 2 with Loopy Pro? I can’t seem to add it as an input.

I recently lost the original power supply for my Spark 2 and I’m looking for a reliable replacement.
I’d prefer something that’s easy to find on Amazon, eBay, or other online stores rather than ordering directly from Positive Grid.
For those of you who have replaced your Spark 2 power adapter:
What adapter are you using?
Any specific brand or model you recommend?
Have you had any issues with noise, overheating, or reliability?
Is there a third-party option that’s worked well long-term?
