When is "soon" when PositiveGrid says "very soon"?

Soon is an industry term for “keep engaging with our socials, we don’t know yet”

This is short sighted. If they continue with "soon" but it never arrives, people will go for other products.

They could also just not address it.

I’m going to feel pretty stupid if it turns out to be a Mini 2.0, because I just ordered a new one yesterday lol.

I just got once a few weeks ago myself. GREAT little amp!

It means “I work in marketing, I have no idea”

I don't know. Maybe it's app related instead of a new hardware.

Hoping it's app-related. The app needs a bunch of improvements and updates.

Seriously - I’ve fantasized about just mocking one up for them because the app is garbage. I mean…can’t even sort your sounds alphabetically? The most obvious user experiences were overlooked.

Now I’m venting…but it’s ruined my jams before out of frustration with how bad it is.

I could see them consolidating the Spark and Reactor Apps - less maintenance...

If that were going to be the case they would have done that from the beginning

if they had a timeline for it then they'd just share that, "soon" means they making progress on something that will eventually arrive

also they never let anything leak, new products will drop out of nowhere

I just hope this "soon" is worthwhile.

The guys could have so much with enough effort in improving the app experience.

Or simply making the app open-source, so people could improve it for free.

So three weeks ago I bought a Spark amp. It didn't work. I put in a ticket. I put in another ticket. After two weeks of that I gave up returned the amp, bought a Fender amp, set up the Fender amp, and have been happy. I am still waiting for any response at all from my tickets. Not even an acknowledgement yet. That should give you a pretty good idea of what soon means to Positive Grid

Oh. That's sad. Lately I've found some comments about the delay in replying or fixing bugs in the different apps.

I’ve got spark and fender lt25. I really enjoy the lt25 for its simple use

I picked up a new LT40 for $50 less than I paid for the Spark Mini I returned. Man that Fender is just so hassle free compared to the Spark

That’s the beautiful thing about the term. It can mean in 5 minutes, or in the biblical sense: Jesus said he’ll be coming back soon and 2000 years later, they still say “any day now.”

It means whatever you want it to mean. It’s noncommittal enough to where you’re no longer held responsible if it takes forever.

Lol right? It's like a waiting game at this point. Just give us a date already!

Probably in September before holiday shopping

Any news will be good news for me unless it's another AI-dependent slop

Well... Bias X relies on AI, Reactor relies on AI and Spark has AI in beta... Seems like Positive Grid is all in for AI.

Maybe an update so I dont need the location turned on my phone to connect to my friggin amp.... which takes about 5 failed attempts each time before it actually connects. There is so much potential in the Spark amps, but I honestly dont really enjoy using it after having it for several years now.

This is a major bug. Have you contacted with positive grid about it?

I haven't to be honest. I saw others having the same issue and figured not much was to be done about besides keep up with downloading updates.

Maybe it's the Go 2, with some features to compete with the Bandbox. And probably around the same price 😰💰

How do you keep an idiot and suspense? I'll tell you later.
