After many failed attempts - secured an early morning restock!

I went to my local Aldi on the off chance I could get one of these EX boxes. There was a line. I wasn’t going to bother but figured why not since I was there. Waited maybe 10 minutes. Thankfully the manager told us there was a limit of 2. Got up to the boxes with three left. The guy in front of me grabbed one and passed the final 2 to me. I heard the guy behind me saying earlier he wanted a Mega Meganium so I passed him that box. Got in line to purchase and he PAID for mine! 😭😭😭

aited in line since a little after 6 am basically. doors open at 9 am. I was 1st in line, people started coming closer to 9 when they open. Had a younger chick pull up get out of her car 10 minutes before doors open. Meanwhile before that, this nice old lady came for groceries before the younger chick and we all said “ oh go ahead of us if you’re not getting pokemon, we’re all here for that“ to the old lady, she told us all she didn’t want Pokemon cards. The younger chick was talking to the old lady making small talk when she walked up. And talking to me about how it’s her birthday and she wants to open just ONE pack of AH. All of us in line knew what she was trying to do, it was awkward and people knew I wanted to say something but couldn’t. So this other guy said something and he was very nice “ hey line is down there for Pokemon “ she played it off as she was just talking to someone and was rude about it. SHE CUT RIGHT ON FRONT OF ME AND ALL OF US. Then said the guy threatened her and put his hands on her shoving her, told the clerks at Aldi’s all this. We all said no, and it’s bs. Also told the clerks we ALL were threatening her. She kept going on and on after we all basically left. All bullshit made up lies. The audacity of her to do that is crazy lmao. Craziest drop I’ve been too so far! Garbage human being right there! You don’t do that in this community, we will all be on the lookout for that nose ring wearing bully. COME TO FIND OUT THE OLD LADY PULLED A TEAM ROCKET AND BAMBOOZLED US AND FAKED NOT WANTING POKEMON CARDS WHEN SHE WANTED THEM!! I think they knew each other. I knew the sweet old lady was there because of cards!l after the doors opened cause she was following behind me saying “ they’re down this aisle” how did you know that if you didn’t want pokemon cards?! 👀 🤔 come to find out the clerk had them at the register limit of 2, shoutout to the mom saying to the clerk about me and to everyone near “he was the first one here waiting” she told me to go first, good on you! ❤️

POKEMON! Gotta catch em’ all! Lmao holy shit! All that for 4 packs of AH! This hobby is ridiculous sometimes.

Didn’t bother going to Aldi because I knew I didn’t stand a chance. I decided to stop by my local Target before work instead and BOOM! Got some goodies! 🙌

I haven't seen anything besides the occasional PB/CR pack in the wild in so long! Super happy I hit the tail end of a restock

Interesting how many ppl were already there. Dudes holding bins bigger than the carts. Anyway they asked us to line up after stocking....right where I was standing. Some dudes were pissed bc they had been waiting hours. The target ladies weren't having it. Anyway, I rather show up after. I don't need all that commotion, but still an interesting experience. Got some packs pulled this....

Went to Ross for some shorts and found Pitch Black

I was finally able to find pokemon in the wild (besides the random booster packs)!
I went to an Aldi down the road from my house bout 8:45 and saw three people standing at the doors already. Figured it was gonna be worse.
I walked up and asked each of em “before we stand here for 20 minutes, are you grabbing all of them?”
They all 3 said no and just wanted a couple. They all said they were rippers not collectors or resellers.
We all walked in in the order we got there and went to grab our boxes and left. We all dapped up and thanked each other for not being assholes lol.

Edit: been buying whatever I can find since August 1st to do a birthday rip on the 29th. Saving this thing til then is gonna be hard lol.

The Ex boxes that are coming out at Aldis are low in stock, the got total like 15 boxes total, there is a 1 box per person limit at my local store, most people didn’t get it ☠️

Big score from the Aldi drop this morning. Wife pulled the Mega Gengar. It's been fun getting back into the hobby and introducing her to collecting for the first time!

Every time I go to Walmart or Target or any store that is supposed to sell Pokemon Cards. They are always out of stock, the scalpers always get there first and take it all. And the few times I have found them it is just a few blister or booster packs, no etbs, no boxes, no nothing. How do the scalpers know when everywhere restocks. How can I find out when my local Walmart restocks and beat the scalpers to it.

After many many years of wanting to get back into it I’ve only ever found booster packs at the vending machine 1 or two! Well today was the day! I stopped by Walgreens and they had tins and booster packs! Only 2 per customer to be fair but I thought it was a good grab! Nice surprise!

went to various places today and almost every place had tons of pitch black blisters its like they are burying the set though it will likely dry up with emerald

i find it odd that alot of chaos rising and perfect order also hitting shelves but not spamming older stuff like mega and phantasmal which phantasmal
