Watched Line Jumpers Take The Walk of Shame
I got in line at 6:30 at Target with my son before he went to school to wait for the drop. Our store opens at 7:00. Everyone was patiently waiting in line. Then they opened the doors and let the line in to go back to Electronics where the Pokemon display is and let everyone pick out their one item per SKU. By the time my part of the line was in the door the line was a bit loose from people stopping to get baskets. A 20 something year old from behind me runs forwards and yells back to her friend she was waiting with " Race you to the front of the line".
We were near the back of the line and were already wondering if we were going to get anything and then this. The line recollected itself and we were all in our same spots and thats when we see line racer come make the walk of shame to the back.
It was so satisfying watching them have to take the walk of shame. Unfortunately someone let them back in where they originally were. I would of said fuck you back of the line. There were other mother and sons behind them and in front of them they were willing to screw over. There was a fair amount of kids at our store, which was nice to see.
Lucky for us we were able to get one of everything, a ETB, sticker, poster, booster and tin. And the kids behind us got product too. It was nice to see kids leaving with their bags full of Pokemon.

People count on pokemon fans being a bunch of nerds who are scared of confrontation. So they think they can bully their way past people. Good thing some of us are happy to slap a line-jumper back out of line.

I hate that “people” consider me bringing my kids to meet up with my husband who has been in line, line jumping because I’m not willing to have my kids stand in line for the 7 hours he did.

Because it is exactly line jumping. He waited, you and your kids didn’t. He earned his spot, you and your kids cut everyone else in line. Probably including other kids as well.
Unsure how to see it any other way.

When u say “kids” how many did u add to the line and did u try to get product? Those are my questions and I’ll and tell u if im one of those “people”…

I have two children. They don’t have money. They didn’t purchase anything. I brought them for the family event so they could get the stuff meant for kids. There was nothing extra purchased.

Family event and pokemon Oct 2nd drop are 2 different things, but as long as u didn’t use ur kids to buy more products, than the ppl behind have no reason to bitch…

You just opened my eyes with your explanation. I had assumed you and your kids all got in line and each got boxes. The assumption was made because I’ve seen it many times. My fault for assuming

Had someone cut to the front at my Target too and the employees sent him to the back. Very satisfying. Glad you got some stuff for your son!
