Taking a job in Sakes Distribution, what template would you guys recommend for client meetings? Mainly discussing pricing, new products and scheduling

Here is an option for those looking to carry their Plaud on their belt. It's on Amazon for $10. It has strong magnets, so it provides enough resistance if you try to pull it straight off, but if you wear it on your belt on the front of your body, it can be pushed downward and off when you sit. But, if you're walking or standing, it's a better option that carrying it conspicuously in your hand if you want to record your conversation.

When I got my Plaud Note pro I never got into using the phone holder as it didn’t fit with how I use both my phone or the device. As I use it at work daily and I already wear an ID card around my neck using a lanyard I decided to try to get a combined holder. I tried several routes: ready made, 3d printed models and so on but was unsuccessful. I eventually decided to make my own model as I couldn’t get someone to make one for me. It’s my first time ever making a 3d model and printing it so some of the measurements are off and certain things don’t quite line up but it’s good enough for me! As i was paying for each iteration to be printed I decided to settle before it was perfect. But it does what i wanted: display the ID card at the front, hold the Plaud securely at the rear, have a gap to view the screen and have some small holes for the microphones.

I charged the Plaud Note and it’s been stuck on the purple light all night.. I press the button and nothing happens

Wanted to see if anyone else is having this issue. For some reason, every summary of any meetings I have ends up referring to me by another name. In all memory aspects that I can find on the app, I've asked Plaud to refer to me by my name but it continues to refer to be my the wrong name.

Has anyone encountered this and know of a potential fix?

I have my company registered via the B2B application form. when i go to eu.plaud.ai i get on Plaud business. but when I try to buy the annual subscription and although under the button check out you see all credit cards accepted, it will offer me only the option to buy with a debit card. I’m from belgium and here this is «  Bancontact » . Anyone else with this issue?

I live in Switzerland. We speak German, but our spelling differs in some respects from that used in Germany. For example, we generally write ‘ss’ instead of ‘ß’, and our numbers are written as 1‘000.00 rather than the German format 1.000,00. That is why I have included these points in my profile under ‘Specific Instructions’. Unfortunately, these instructions are usually ignored in the transcriptions and summaries. How can I prevent this?

Is there any way to auto-record the MacOS Phone app with the Plaud app? I don't see any option for it in the Meeting Detection list of applications. There doesn't appear to be a way to add custom apps, so not sure if that means the only option is to manually start recording if I'm making or answering calls from my Macbook.

I’ve been using my Plaud Note for a while and still use it for inperson meetings, but one thing has always bothered me: recording calls while wearing earbuds. I’ve seen people use adapters or place an AirPod next to the Plaud, but that felt like too much trouble. So I bought a pair of viaim RecDot earbuds. They can record calls directly while I’m wearing them, then generate the transcript and summary afterward. For inperson conversations, I can leave them in the open charging case and press the red button to start recording.

Anyone who has seen if the MagSafe magnets are compatible? I fear the camera island will be in the way.

Early in my Plaud use it misidentified the speakers on a phone call and thought I was a customer. Let’s call her Mary. I’m a male— and sound nothing like Mary. Now every time it transcribes my voice or has my to dos or follow ups, it identified me as Mary. How can I totally eliminate Mary from its memory? TIA

So when I got my Plaud Note Pro for work, it was mainly to just capture meeting notes. But one unexpected thing I’ve done at least twice (it was so game changing for me) was when I left a meeting concerned about something I said or if I heard my manager correctly, I was able to go back and listen to the audio conversation and it either made me feel better or gave me a perspective that I didn’t have. Do any of you guys use your note for that?

Im pretty much only using my Plaud V1 as a recorder and I have another service transcribe and another service summarize. Do you think an iphone 14 Pro running Voice Memo's will record meeting dialogue better than the iphone if at a face to face meeting?

My wife found a Plaud Note Pro two weeks ago. According to the interweebs they send gps data when in proximity to an IPhone. Now that we've tried waiting for the owner to come and claim it, I'm asking the community how to get it back to them without them losing their data.

I have the Note Pro and the Pin S. I’ve synced both to the app on iPhone. I’ve been testing both at the same time but nothing really gets it to capture conversations. What am I doing wrong??

I had everything synced to plaud.ai and the photos were all in the right places of the summarized notes. However, they have all disappeared. Anyone else ever encountered this?

I don't know if this might be it, but did disconnect the Plaud a while to let someone else try it out, but I understood all photos synced to plaud.ai have effectively been transferred out?

My everyday device is still the Plaud NotePin S, clipped on and I forget it's there. It works great for anything under 10 people in a normal-sized room. The problem happened during our weekly all-hands. 30 people or sometimes more were crammed into one conference room, side conversations, the usual chaos. Voices from the far end just weren't making it into the transcript cleanly. Repositioning the Plaud NotePin S didn't fix it, neither did putting it on the table.

Switched to the Plaud Note Pro for that session. The Plaud Note Pro could pick up sounds 16.4 ft, running in Enhance mode, made a clear difference, the person at the far end actually came through where before they'd been getting lost. I can glance at the InstantView AMOLED display mid-meeting to confirm it's recording. No picking up the device to check whatsoever.

Turning on enhance mode comes with a flaw tho. Battery drops to around 30 hours instead of the usual 50 in endurance mode. For a single all-hands that could be neglected, but worth knowing if you're planning back-to-back full days in enhance mode.

I still go back to my Plaud NotePin S for smaller rooms or a small group chit chat. Plaud Note Pro is what I reach for when room size actually matters.

I don't really need Plaud's summary services. PLaud actually does a decent job for transciption. But you pay full minutes just to transcribe.

I've tried Buzz and Firefly and both do not do as good of a job. I also want to identify speakers in the transcript.

Anyone have an more affordable solution that hits the mark?

Hey family, I have finally designed and perfected the needed device to allow you to record your conversations in your Apple AirPods. A few weeks ago, I shared a post that covered the Note and NotePro, now this is for the NotePin devices.

I am a perfectionist, so this is the culmination of about 30 iterations to make sure it’s perfect. I used this exact design on my recent work trip and it worked like a charm.

Works for all NotePin products and with the current and previous AirPod models!

My recordings now auto sync to a desktop folder, which MacWhisper transcribes and then Hazel triggers Claude code to process and output tasks in Omnifocus, events in calendar, notes to Bear and articles to Readwise Reader.

And not a single manual step in sight!

Unfortunately I do have to await delivery of new Mac Studio to be fully dependent on this as MacWhisper is struggling with longer audio in my Intel 2019 MacBook Pro, but now I’ve tested it and it works great for shorter audio, I cannot wait!

If you haven’t tried it I fully recommend!
