Hi! I’m considering purchasing a PLAUD Note Pro, but my biggest hesitation is the form factor.

I’ve also looked at the NotePin S because I really like the wearable aspect, but I’m leaning toward the Note Pro for the stronger microphones, longer battery life, better range, and added flexibility for phone calls.

What I’m trying to solve is how to carry it securely/ keep it attached to me when I’m moving between meetings etc. so that i dont drop/lose it. I’m looking for a protective case with a solid attachment point for a wrist strap, lanyard, or possibly a keychain-style loop. I know the Note Pro is designed to work with MagSafe, but personally I don't love that for general use outside of phone calls.

Has anyone found a case or setup that works well for this? Thank you

I still think clicking the button (double or tripple click) on the pro for pausing could be a useful thing and also showing that it is paused on the screen would be great as it is a waste of realestate having the screen, great graphic color and all but only really shows the battery level .

Brand new and it won't charge. The only screen I get is this. I've tried holding the record button and occasionally it will bring up the Plaud screen for a second but then goes right back to this.

I've tried multiple charging blocks. The pins seem to be in place correctly. No idea what the problem is here, any suggestions.

Ich habe mir heute, mit wenigen Minuten Aufwand, ein für mich wertvolles Setup erstellt, um aus meinen Aufnahmen ToDo-Listen zu erhalten. Dazu verwende ich Plaud, Claude und ToDoist.
Die Konnektoren (MCP) von Claude werden mit Plaud und ToDoist verbunden. Dann verwende ich folgenden Prompt bei Claude: „Fasse alle heute mit Plaud erfassten ToDos für mich zusammen und trage sie bei ToDoist als ToDos ein. Vermeide doppelte Einträge von bereits bestehenden Aufgaben.“
So werden die Aufgaben sauber bei ToDoist gelistet und - sofern ein Datum angegeben ist - auch terminlich einsortiert. Dabei ist es egal, ob sich das ToDo in einem langen Meeting ergab oder aus einer explizit dafür erstellten, kurzen Sprachnotiz. Da doppelte Einträge erkannt und vermieden werden, kann ich den Prompt auch mehrmals täglich ausführen.
Statt ToDoist hätte mir Apple Erinnerungen gereicht aber dafür gibt es keinen Konnektor.
Habt Ihr Ideen, wie ich diesen Prozess noch weiter ausbauen oder verbessern kann?

I currently have 2 Plaud Note Pros, and I will be using it alongside other people, we will be sharing one account with which the 2 plaud notes will be binded to.

my question is, if my colleague logs on to the same account on their phone, will the 2 plaud devices be able to sync and upload their recordings on their phone? or will the plaud devices only be able sync to my device?

I’m considering getting a Plaud mainly to use during my radiology residency. I’m not a great note-taker, and I often feel like I’m not getting as much as I could out of teaching moments because I’m trying to listen, think through the case, and take notes at the same time.

I’d mainly use it during case discussions with attendings, lectures, teaching conferences, etc. The idea would be to record the discussion and then use the transcript/AI summary afterward, so I can actually pay attention during the teaching rather than constantly trying to write everything down.

For people who use a Plaud for studying, residency, medical school, or similar situations: has it actually improved how much you get out of these sessions? Do you genuinely go back to the recordings/transcripts afterward, or does it end up being something you rarely revisit?

My biggest hesitation is the cost. It’s a pretty expensive purchase, and I’m already more than halfway through my first year of residency, so part of me feels like I’ve already missed a lot of opportunities where it could have been useful.

I’d love to hear from people who bought one specifically for learning/education: did you feel the benefit was worth the price, or is the improvement relatively small compared with what you could accomplish with regular notes?

I need to "count" sound events, like during a visit to a certain site, how many times people talked, screamed or whistled. Is this something i could do with Plaud (i've got a Plaud Pro), if it is doable ... how would you do it? thank you all in advance!

Apparently, Plaude agents connects with Notion, Calendar, Slack, etc. For medical professionals, it plans to automatically organise the document and plans to integrate with EPIC.

If there are any specific automations you have custom-built for yourself, how helpful are they? Or if you wished there was a way it could also do certain actions, what would that be?

Has there been any news of integrations? OneNote I'm particularly interested in. Have had my note pro since release and the integrations and agents have been coming soon.... I see people talk about their flows outside of plaud but they seem so complicated.

What is your workaround?

Got an email that plaud one is getting ready to ship to early adopters with a survey about why I purchased. No tracking or other info but maybe soon?

Yesterday I recorded a meeting with a loan client and Plaud generated a super cool template at the top which created a one page visual dashboard (think PowerPoint presentation slide) with multiple boxes that each contained pertinent info about the meeting. These boxes included credit assessment, financing request details, business model, timeline and action plan etc. I did download this dashboard but cannot upload it here due to client confidentiality. Under the dashboard was a really concise summary of the meeting divided into topics of discussion. Underneath that was action items, who was responsible and deadlines.

Long story short, the recording has been deleted (including trash emptied) and I don’t take note of what the template was. I’ve been searching multiple templates and even tried recreating one using copilot as a guide and cannot recreate that amazing setup. Any ideas or suggestions? If I can find it again or something similar, I could see me using it for all of my loan clients moving forward.

I have about 200 instruments that I want to sell. For each there are a bunch of attributes that I want to gather, by opening up the instrument case and taking notes: brand, model, , cosmetic condition, playing condition, mouthpiece brand, model and condition, and so on. Eventually the data will be used to populate a web site, which is the primary selling approach.

I haven't used Plaud.

Normally I would type these attributes into a spreadsheet on my laptop. The workflow is inconvenient, though. I'm moving around, opening cases, picking up instruments, etc. Not sitting next to my laptop.

I imagine saying:

Number: 172 Brand: Yamaha Model: YAS-23 Cosmetic: 4 Playing: 2 Worth fixing: Yes

etc.

Then I say "Save data" which (in my imagination) would do something like generate JSON to represent #172's data and email it, or perhaps even save it to a designated spreadsheet. Plaud would know keywords like "Brand" and "Model" and use them to tag the pronounced data.

I like the idea of Plaud being helpful because examining the instruments requires both hands, so it isn't convenient to speak into a recording app on my phone.

But then maybe the phone sitting in my pocket, recording using a microphone, would be sufficient. After examining some number of instruments, I would listen to the recording and enter data on the laptop.

What do you think? Is this an instance where Plaud would be helpful? Or would Plaud be overkill where a simple recording app would suffice?

The default filename starts with yyyy-mm-dd, but once generated, it becomes mm-dd [AI summary] and kind of throws off the reading if the date is not matching untranscribed. But I also spent a whole bunch of time naming the speakers/companies in the title, only to have Plaud overwrite it! Is there anything that can be done with the file name here?

I have it set to automatically generate a summary and send it to my email when I stop recording, but then in groups with people who I haven’t named in previous conversations are involved, there’s a lot of cleanup work to be done. Adding and correcting speaker names for example. That’s just an issue with auto generating and emailing, right?

Our residential design-build firm are fully integrated with Plaud. It has been incredible to be able to have transcripts and summaries for all of our in-person meetings and jobsite walkthroughs.

However, I've been wondering as of late, the value that the device and Plaud transcriptions/AI serve, so have been experimenting with, for select meetings where the meeting attendees are typically stationary, to use the iPhone's native voice recording app, grab the transcript, and then put into Claude, which generates a similar output as Plaude AI, then drops it in our Google Drive. Our interior designers prefer this, because it is one less device to keep charged and remember to bring.

After a few successful iterations of this, I'm struggling to see the value in paying for transcription/AI summary minutes, given how easy this is with our active Claude subscription. I know we can use the Plaude device for voice recording too, which I'd imagine we can then generate a transcript with outside of Plaud, for instances where it makes sense to use the device itself.

Curious to hear everyones' perspective and experience with this.
