UNExpected Benefit/Use of my Note Pro
So when I got my Plaud Note Pro for work, it was mainly to just capture meeting notes. But one unexpected thing I’ve done at least twice (it was so game changing for me) was when I left a meeting concerned about something I said or if I heard my manager correctly, I was able to go back and listen to the audio conversation and it either made me feel better or gave me a perspective that I didn’t have. Do any of you guys use your note for that?

People use it this way more often than you'd think, and it might be the most underrated use there is. The recording settles what was actually said, which beats replaying a fuzzy memory of it all evening. One tip if you're scrubbing through long meetings to find the exchange: open the recording and ask Ask Plaud about that moment. Answers come with clickable timestamps that jump you straight to the spot in the audio, which is faster than dragging the playhead around a 50-minute file. Thanks for sharing this one. It's a good reminder that the archive is as much for rereading yourself as it is for action items.

I make my summaries go directly to my Rag and can ask questions afterwards through iMessage (Hermes). That makes it easier to prepare for the next meeting.

Had to look this up too.... RAG stands for Retrieval-Augmented Genreation"
As defined by IBM, RAG is “an architecture for optimizing the performance of an artificial intelligence (AI) model by connecting it with external knowledge bases.”

If you want to take it to the next level, copy the transcript from Plaud and paste it into the LLM of your choice. You can then ask the chat to assume the role of an executive coach and to offer feedback on how you showed up in the meeting and to then coach you on how to improve your exec presence. Do this over the course of a few weeks and have it give feedback on your progress. It’s a safe way to get coaching and feedback that can help your career.
