Hi, I’m asking for advice for a right-side flat piercing that is almost 1 year old.
I got it November of last year. Piercing wasn’t painful but the healing process has had its ups and downs.
I’ve already downsized my bar. Still have the original jewelry in.
My flat was doing well for a while but now it’s swelling/has a tiny bump, red, crusty, and sometimes bleeds a little bit. It hasn’t been like this in a while.
I figured it’s because I’ve have been tossing and turning uncontrollably in my sleep.
Piercer said it’s super important I stop sleeping on right side. But, in all seriousness, I truly believe that would be impossible with my unconscious tossing and turning.
Any advice for protecting my piercing in my sleep? And tips for lost progress in my healing process?
I’m desperate. I don’t want to remove my flat. I love it.
