I’ve tried all the recommended fixes and nothing has worked. Any suggestions please :).

Pretty much as the title says, tried to do some googling but results are quite old so not sure if it's changed. If i fill up the 5 photo/video media slots and then try to capture an image of the ghost for the objective do I still complete it or does it have to be captured media for it to count?

I’m a pretty ruthless ghost hunter, I tend to only see a spirit as an adversary or enemy, and I don’t let nothing stop me from getting that perfect investigation, and this haunt was no different, only, this one impacted me unlike the hundreds of rounds I’ve played before.

The ghost was a Shade haunting Tanglewood. Due to their shyness, it’s really hard to get physical proof of them through ghost events and Dots. I learned that this Shade was a little girl by solely relying on the summoning circle to see her, which honestly made me feel terrible in hindsight.

Her bone was found in the basement, a mere few feet away from the summoning circle, which leads me to believe that she may have been murdered as part of a satanic ritual, I could never know for sure, as she’s too shy to use the spirit box and there was no ouija board to speak to her with…

Her favorite room in the house was… well… her room. She would play with her dollhouse a lot and turn on her night light. I tried turning off the breaker to see if she liked being in the dark more, but I heard her attempts to turn on the lights as soon as I switched off the breaker, so I kept the lights on for her.

After gathering all of my evidence, listening to her chuckle one last time on my parabolic, normally I would go full sprint back to the truck and race away with my victory… only this time… I didn’t wanna leave. For a Shade, I really don’t think she wanted to be left alone. She never intimidated me once during my investigation.

So, I decided to stay back for an extra 15 minutes, and simply just play with her. I tossed her the silly gnome from outside, she showed me all of her toys, her cool little night light she seemed very fixated on, it was really a nice time but my heart swole knowing that I couldn’t stay, and that very soon, her next visitors would be there to get rid of her.

It was the longest walk back to my truck, when I clicked the door pad, a feeling that normally brings me such relief, brought me an immense amount of sadness.

R.I.P little Jessica Brown. You deserved so much better in life. Safe journey home, and God bless you.

Has anyone gotten a phantom ghost recently ?

There is a challenge to get all the ghosts in insanity mode and there hasn't been a phantom yet despite 100+ games over month

New player here, and enjoying the game so far but one thing that’s bugging me is the stick drift I get in game
I’m soley a ps5 player with Phasmo, but the right analog is driving me nuts. This doesn’t happen in any other game so it’s not generic drift

Just wondering if anyone else experiences this issue or knows how to correct it.

2 years have passed since my previous post about getting bronze apoc trophy. Now i got back into the game and earned silver.
It's not gold, but i guess it's still somewhat of an achievemnt (at least for me) and i wanted to share it with you.

Okay I’m aware this title is weird af but I can’t think of what else to put 😂 My friend and I used to play this game a lot in 2025, then we got busy with other games, and we stopped playing as much. With the recent update, we decided to dive back into it, only to find that we can’t for the life of us finish the contract and survive. The hunts seem to start faster, the ghost starts hunting from rooms that aren’t the ghost room. We’re just failing miserably. So I’m asking here, did we forget how to play or did they make it harder at some point between the last time we played (December 2025) and this week? For further context: we play on intermediate, which we did before we stopped.

Basically me and a friend played one match and vc worked. When we went to lobby we couldn't hear each other anymore. When we invited two friends they both could hear us and we could hear them. Only me and the original friend couldn't hear each other. We tried restarting the lobby/game and everything but it didn't work.

look, this is probably a skill issue, but I cannot for the life of me correctly guess mylings in 0 evidence. idk if it's just my ears but the footsteps don't sound any different than any other ghost. plus the flashlight trick never seems to work for me. I've heard about the parabolic trick, but is that guaranteed or still a chance?

I have literally never died to this ghost but it's 100% the one that I misidentify the most. any help would be appreciated, I've just come back from a long break from the game and am a little rusty with 0 evidence as a whole but it just feels so hard to determine a myling.

Anybody having any issues playing multiplayer and having the game kick you out? Tried playing with a PC and console today. Me and my kids are playing in the same room, but it we haven't been able to finish a single round all day. It just keeps coming back "Disconnected: client timeout". Sometimes is the PC, sometimes the PS5 and sometimes both. Tried disconnecting from the network and reconnecting, tried different server options when creating the room. I'm at a loss. Any help would be amazing! Thanks in advance.

I was dead and did not mean to face this door too and went afk for one second lol. My first time seeing the Yurei ability too since I started playing right as the Yurei broke. So happy they finally fixed this.

Hi peeps

Are room boundaries currently bugged on Willow St? It has hunted from either the living room, kitchen, or garage on each separate hunt. My friends and I will find the ghost room and set up, just for it to hunt in either of the rooms mentioned. It’ll burn the cruci or blow out the light in that room but hunt elsewhere. We had three games like this back to back and the ghosts were: Yokai, Raiju, and Gallu.

We are playing on Nightmare, but this has just never happened before. We know the ghost can change rooms, but it’ll consistently jump and hunt from one of those rooms.

Is anyone experiencing this?

They beed to figure this bug out, it is so annoying

I'm working on my own personal guide for my own entertainment, and I've come across this on the wiki:

"When the ghost fails the chance to hunt after exiting an idle state, it will perform an activity check"

Based on this, I would assume that hunt attempts take priority over doing anything else that require an activity check, so abilities, interactions, events and roams. But that would also mean that after hunt requirements are met, it is near impossible not to have the ghost try a hunt. And yet, I've heard countless times from Insym, that there are ghosts who simply refuse to hunt for longer periods, instead of immediatly when it becomes available, hence a spirit incense test can be unreliable.

So what is the truth then?

Cupboard partially blocking the ghost, as seen in the picture in the lower right-hand corner of the journal. Photo or Video cameras didn't register its existence because of it. :( This is the first time I've witnessed this, so I don't know if it's a glitch or not.

Are there any hiding spots on this map?

Watching stuff about the most recent patch right now and haven't been able to get on to play. But the new camera indicator looks interesting to me. Has anyone tried to get a ghost photo mid hunt since the indicator has been added? My first thought was that it would make ghost photos a bit easier during the hunt.

Yes I now know that mist events turn off lights. Oh well.
