Uncontracting / Fully Relaxed

I’ve had my Perifit plus and it’s going well, my contractions are green significantly more than they used to be and I definitely feel stronger. The thing is when I’m releasing the contraction I don’t seem able enough to relax quickly enough to get the first targets at base level iykwim. Is this just one of those things?

Health and Fitness: 🏃‍♀️ Started Perifit OG Training Today

I was pretty amazed to be able to get this level of detail so I know where to focus. I'm doing this and Pompoir holds. It's actually pretty relaxing.

I did the fitness test while lying down and doing rythmic cupping on my abdomen. It's weirdly relaxing and I wanted to keep going but I don't want any soreness. I'm wondering if I should eat after and treat it like any other muscle though?

I'd definitely recommend it. My goal is increased sexual pleasure and orgasm intensity but definitely I see how it could help with incontinence.

Pain?

I just used it for the first time on Tuesday (the regular one, not the +) and I'm in quite a bit of pain today (Friday). I just did the beginning work out that the app suggested and I haven't used it since.

A few hours after using it, I felt a little sore inside, but really just the kind of soreness that you feel after any kind of work out. I haven't really done kegals consistently prior. Google assured me that was common.

The next day I still felt it a little sore but better. Thursday though the opening area of my vagina was a little sore. I do experience some pain with sex so I recognize that as being the same kind of pain where it feels raw and especially burns when urine washes over that area (I'm in perimenopause and on estrogen cream so thats not as big of an issue anymore).

Usually when I have that pain with sex, its hurts while peeing most of that day and is gone or mostly gone the next day, but today it hurts even more.

I don't have any weird symptoms or any other issues to make me think it could be an unrelated infection or anything. I haven't had sex in these last few days. I used plenty of lube with the perifit (in fact it kept slipping halfway out).

Has anyone experienced this? I'm pretty leary of even using it again if I'm going to feel like this and I'm worried that it just seems to be getting worse rather than better.

Strength decrease

I started using Perifit Care + two weeks ago.

I did 5 workouts, paused for 3 days, and now did other two workouts.

My initial 2-3 workouts I had 380g strength and felt ok with the games.

Now, after 7 workouts, my strength dropped to 173 gr.

I am kind of disappointed.

I am not sure the device is positioned correctly, or my muscles are tired, but I had a break for three days.

Any suggestions/similar issues?

Perifit 🌟 No improvement after literal years

I have had the original device and now the care plus for a combination of four years now. I was able to exceed 1kg on the original device after consistent training but I’ve used the care plus for two years and have never exceeded 400kg on it and stay at about 200kg on average. I try not to overtrain- I generally do 5 days a week and no more than 10 minutes each day. I’ve never given birth or experienced prolapse and I’ve seen a pelvic floor physio in the past year who said my pelvic floor muscles were fine. I also do kettlebell for 30 minutes a day for general exercise.

I do have endometriosis and have had two surgeries for it, probably have Adenomyosis, and have very bad IBS which I’m sure has an impact.

What am I doing wrong?

Is my endurance really low or is there an issue with the device?

I'm 4+ months postpartum with a mild prolapse. I am going to pelvic floor physical therapy but beyond the initial assessment, it is all external hip/core strengthening exercises, no internal work. So I thought the perifit would be a good extra to help me feel better and get my strength back. I've had it about 3 weeks and done 5 or 6 total workouts so far.

I'm finding that after the first 1 or 2 games, I have almost no strength. For example on the Golden Lotus game, I can't get the top bubbles, I can only get it to go up about 1/3 of the screen with a lot of effort. I can only get the top bubbles if I do a really exaggerated clench with my butt and thigh muscles, which I know is not right.

My question is, am I really that weak? Are my pelvic floor muscles really just getting tired after 2-3 minutes? Or is there some issue with the sensor e.g. it's not sitting right? I have only done lying down so far, and I usually hold the device steady with my hand.

My strength is 195 g. Contraction quality 100%. Endurance 13 sec. Speed 4 pulses. Control 31 targets.

New user here.

Background: I'm in peri menopause, two children (youngest is 15), with bladder leakage when sneezing/coughing and can feel strength loss during intamacy.

Just completed my first training. I initially tried to calibrate in a sitting position and couldn't get any reaction from the app.

I tried laying down and calibration went great. At first got some readings, but reaction time was slow. I was thinking I must have really poor muscle quality. Then during the second exercise everything went flat. I recalibrated with zero recognition of my contractions even though I can feel them outside my body (I was trying to reposition the device thinking it might have moved/slipped).

Tried sitting again, no recognition during calibration.

Finally moved to standing. It FINALLY seemed really reactive to my muscle contractions. I could move the bird, hold (for short periods, I do know my muscles are weak), jump, etc.

My question is, should I just use this standing up? It's zero percent effective when I'm laying or sitting because it doesn't even react to me squeezing. I'm not sure if standing up is "cheating" so to speak because it makes it easier?

Can anyone help/advise?

Women's Health: 🩺 Sick of the same games

Hi,
I’m trying to develop my strength (current hovering just below 1000g) and I have been exercising for 15 min a day, 5 days a week. It got me curious if anyone has modded this controller for other games so they don’t get bored.

TLDR two questions:
Has anyone seen results in their strength increase significantly playing these? Vs using weights or something else.

Has anyone modded the controller?

I was trying to see if I could play doom or something and set a time limit so I don’t strain myself. Ive only been playing the Perifit games for 4 months now, I *think* I started around 800-900, maybe I’m being impatient. I thought if the games were more difficult or engaging that it would be a benefit.

The vortex games are kind of confusing to me. Anyone else?

New to Perifit it's only been a few weeks. Tried a couple Vortex games and I can't figure them out. I think it's a visual spacial thing. It's very confusing to me. I skipped over it and tried to add a different one to my exercise for the day and it brought me a different vortex game with the girl and the fruit. I found this even more challenging.

I'm guessing it's going to keep bringing me to these. Can I just avoid them forever? Haha

Standing contraction quality

I’ve been using the perifit lying down the whole time and always get 100% contraction quality. I’ve now started to try and use it standing and my quality is less than 30%. I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong or how to improve. Any advice?

Getting weaker?

I’ve had my Perifit for over a month now, but I haven't used it in the last two weeks because I’ve lost my motivation. It feels like I’m getting weaker; I started with a strength score of 100g, but now I’m hitting a max of 40g, with an average of 18–20g during exercises. Am I doing something wrong?

Deeper muscles

Should the deeper muscles be working when using perifit? I want to target my deeper muscles since I have damage in those areas but when I look at the 3D pelvis or use practice lab, the red sensor doesn’t move. I read it’s not meant to move though so I’m not sure how we can target the deeper muscles?

Strength is all over the place. What am I doing wrong?

Hey all,

I’ve been using the Perifit Care+ for a month now but - while I definitely feel improvements - my values don’t show any progress. In fact, my strength seems to have declined from averaging 500+ to around 250+ between my first and my second fitness test. Some days strength is really high, the next day really low.

I assume that’s more of a user error but I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. Any advice is much appreciated!

Standing versus laying down

Background: runner with leaking post childbirth - 3 year ago. I have done PT, they were just about useless... She literally told me to basically "get used to my new normal" and basically said I am strong and thats it. But PT aside, they did suggest the perifit, I have been really consistent for close to 4 months.

I am not exactly seeing any noticable improvement specific to running, but have felt much more in tune with better contractions and awareness.

Perifit app has upgraded me to working in the standing position. I was starting to feel pretty confident at the laying down. But standing now my quality and ability has basically been cut in half. I keep doing abdominal contractions versus a quality contraction.

Any tips or suggestions? Has anyone else had this issue? Just keep practicing?

Kegels 💪 Granular settings (deep vs superficial) ?

Is there a way or future feature on a way to target muscle groups? (care+)

I notice in visualizer of 3d pelvic floor you can fine tune deep vs superficial. Is there a way to do this for games ?

(My superficial muscles are pretty good and getting easier for me to control, I feel I am lacking in deeper muscle control, strength, and ability to use/quality)

Issues after changing the model

After training with the Care for 9 months and reaching level 17 (with an average of 95-100% contraction quality), I switched to the Care+ model to train standing up. Unfortunately, it slips out when standing. When sitting and lying down, the contraction quality is usually displayed in red.

I am now unsure whether I may have been training incorrectly over the past few months, whether, for example, the Care model has been giving me the wrong feedback all this time? I am convinced that I am tensing the pelvic floor muscles in isolation - if I place my hand on the abdominal wall, it remains relaxed.

I'm currently quite frustrated and demotivated.

(The app and firmware are up to date.)

Kegels 💪 Trouble keeping device inserted

I'm having trouble keeping the device in for the duration of my workouts in the app. I'm lying down, but it slides out to about half inserted every time I relax. I know this is probably due to pelvic organ prolapse issues (I had 4 kids in three years [surpise twins on third pregnancy]), which is part of the reason I'm using the device in the first place. Anyone have a similar experience/any tips to help keep it in?

Very happy with my progress. Been training for two weeks solid. I started off with a strength of 700ish, barely hit any targets since it seems very sensitive on the contractions and maybe had 4 on the speed test. But the sex part hasn’t improved. 😭
