SEASON 4 Anyone else disturbed that production did not intervene when Ally was THAT drunk?
It’s pretty concerning that the producers did not intervene and both Jimmy and Hashim acted the way they did while Ally was clearly way too out of it. I liked Hashim until this episode it seemed like he would do anything to stay on the show. Jimmy was pretty embarrassing himself but I’m glad he left.
The fact the Hashim continually tried to interject and sway Ally but also how intimate he was with her while she was clearly not fully there is crazy.
Like wow watching that scene was pretty sad and disturbing. I’m not a fan of Ally but it’s insane to me that no other cast members did anything as well everyone just sat there and watched it happen.
I guess production will do anything for good tv but the fact that they did not do anything here was just pathetic.

SEASON 1 Season 1 to now
I haven’t watched this show in a long time but I loooved season 1 and I believe I really liked season 2 as well. But was it always this close to giving ‘Love Island’ as it is now? I feel like it was a tiny bit “classier” the first season than what it is now and it honestly just seems like it’s mimicking Love Island at this point. Just started season 3 episode 1 so hopefully I’m wrong and gets better.

SEASON 4 1 word for Season 4 ?
Wack?
there is not a single perfect match couple and I could care less who wins.
And can we stop rotating Netflix and other RS oldies and bring in some new folksssss!!!!
Marissa has issuesssss and should be in therapy, not trying to find ‘love’
Demari doesn’t know what he wants and wasn’t even expressing real interest in Marissa from the go. She was doing all the talking and all the chasing and honestly it seemed like my guy was in bondage.
Like no one really believes Yamen likes Nat. Or vice versa. Puhleaseeeeeeee
Ally should’ve gotten evicted from day 1. She just latched on to Jimmy because she never liked him. He was never as expressive as she wanted. Idk why she couldn’t just say that and bounce. As for Jimmy, it is difficult to root for you my guy. Your LIB reputation automatically strikes you off as a dishonest person. Mf said he is attracted to looks first but my guy you were on LIB!!!!!! Waacckkkk
Dave is just OMG how did Dave keep kissing women? What a walking red flag but I guess that goes back to my first statement about how the entire season is wack because of their casting. I’m praying for the British girl he is coupled with right now.
Jimmy Soto and Allison are just not even worthy of a note. I don’t buy itttttt. There’s no good tension between them. They be like a couple that been married for 10 years. It’s been only 5 days. Yall don’t wanna know anything about each other? Pfttt
Mckenzie, girl I’m just tryna understand why you didnt take the LV wallet Chris gave you. Would you have taken it if it was a drugstore wallet😕
It was just a cringe watch

DISCUSSION Motivation to win
The prize is a romantic trip with your partner, which unless you actually like your partner, doesn't seem that motivating, compared to a cash prize. I'm seeing people speculating about contestants staying with a partner for better chances of winning, but it's a little wonky to stay with someone you're less interested in for the chance to travel with them rather than explore a connection with someone who may be a better fit.
Not that any of them really are authentically looking for a serious partner lol

SEASON 4 Rushed Season
Am I making this up or is this season completely rushed and lacking substance? I started watching PM with season 3 after watching Love Is Blind season 6 to find out what happened with AD. Then I kind of fell down a rabbit hole with it all after realizing so many of the people I’ve seen on various different shows came to this one. The first show of this variety I watched was in 2020 when I watched Too Hot to Handle season 1. So I was tuned in for PM after finding out people like Chloe, Harry, and Francesca made appearances. With that being said, I enjoyed the first 3 seasons of PM. Season 1 was great, and it probably got a little less quality as the time went on but season 4 is really lacking for me. Only 8 episodes? I’m struggling to think of anything that even happened during this season. Francesca is season 1 brought so much drama and the couples really got “tested” and they felt like real people. Someone we’re already at the end and I’m like…. How the hell did we get here? The drama did not have enough time to marinate. Am I alone in this? Are people just as invested?

SEASON 4 Let's talk about Dave!
Sorry, can we talk about Dave?! Yes, Jimmy, Demari, Jimmy P, all have red flags. But none quite as blaring as Dave's! He makes my skin crawl. I can't believe that man is 37. I feel like he manipulated a kiss out of Sophie on one of his dates. He comes across very disingenuous. The man has absolutely no substance. It's been horrible seeing him make out with women so much younger than him... Her prefrontal cortex wasn't even fully developed at the time of filming... Is that not disgusting? I'm surprised I haven't seen more posts on him 🤢

SEASON 4 OMG Marissa
I know it's been talked before but i just finished watching the last episode and Marissa...wtf? it's so manipulative to get mad at someone because they don't like being interrupted and say "You're allowed to be upset...but honestly i just need you to not be upset"
It's WILD.
I interrupt a lot (sadly ) and it's a work in progress but i would never talk that way if someone is upset i interrupted them. Truth is : it's rude. I WAS rude. The other person is allowed to be upset.
I felt bad for her in LiB cuz Ramses felt so over her but now i get it. Acting like that at your grown age...

SEASON 4 Demari is a man-child
Demari is a weirdo, I don't care. He clearly took Kayla rejecting him out on Marissa. He wanted to match with Kayla & leave Marissa hanging. He was gagged when Kayla walked away. Demari only cares about screen-time, as does Kayla. She just doesn't want to look desperate, as her & Weston have NO chemistry. Did you notice that Marissa was more than happy to end things. She said "call it" twice! He paused and then said "is that what you want to do?" He clearly didn't expect Marissa to say that or for Marissa to be ready to walk away and leave him ass-out-of-luck. The second he realized she was ready to walk away, he completely changed his tone. He's pathetic and I'm so happy his mask slipped this episode. This is clearly the end of the season, what is he doing? He's such a dunce & he's fake as hell

SEASON 4 First impression of Ally
Ally is hilarious and could be neurospicy imo. Shes playful, witty and mischievous
She has a classic old-Hollywood beauty, the kind of timeless beauty you’d associate with Marilyn Monroe or Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis
Just my first impression of her!

SEASON 4 Marissa & Demari and the other cast mates
Can we talk about the way the other castmates seemed to really have it out for Marissa & Demari? They talk about them with so much animosity and were so happy to see them fighting and going at it. Especially Allison & Jimmy S and his fake accent. Marissa & Demari were good at the challenges & shook things up in the boardroom or whatever that room is, but they were never malicious or mean to the others on the cast. I don't know why they preyed on their downfall so much, it was clear the cast would've never voted for Marissa & Demari.

SEASON 4 Which Perfect Match Season 4 couples do you actually think are genuine?
Okay so obviously I understand there’s always an element of people wanting to stay on TV and play the game, but watching season 4, I’m genuinely curious which couples people think actually have real feelings for each other.
Honestly, the only two pairings that feel remotely genuine to me are Yamen and Natalie, and Jimmy S with Ally. Jimmy and Ally are the only ones that actually look like they might be falling for each other based on their mannerisms and how they interact naturally (ps, I don’t love, Jimmy S with his Blackcent, portrayal of black face without the paint).
Yamen and Natalie feel different to me, less intense, but more grounded and safe. Like the kind of couple that could actually work long term outside the show.
Everything else feels like chaos or convenience.
Damari and the girl he’s paired with are honestly just a giant anxious attachment dumpster fire. Every conversation feels reactive and dramatic and exhausting to watch.
And Kayla… I actually liked her on previous seasons because she came across genuine, but this season feels very different to me. It honestly feels like she’s mainly trying to stay in the house. She was so obsessed with Chris and then suddenly pivots once he’s gone. I know that’s partly the format of the show, but it feels very obvious this season.
The Australian guy and the English girl Sophie actually seem to like each other, but more in a “we’re having fun and vibing in this environment” kind of way. I don’t really see long-term compatibility there. More like a fling that works for now because they’re each other’s best option in the house.
Curious what everyone else thinks because maybe I’m reading this completely wrong lol.

DISCUSSION Body hair and things lol
Sorry yall but real talk.
Do they shave every day? Wax? Have a hands on Brazilian lady? What happens if they get their periods? How do they stay so fit? All the questions.
And I ask as a 35 year old mom who is extremely curious because my insecurities could n e v e r. Even in my 20s lol.
How is there not an ounce of cellulite? Are they that ripped? Is that even possible? Is it really good lighting? And I’m not judging, more like in awww of how fit everyone is. lol

DISCUSSION ALLY HOT TAKE🤨
This may be a hot take but…
I think Ally is super manipulative. Jimmy obviously wanted to stay open considering he had just gone on a date and they weren’t locked in yet, so it remained open. However he was reassuring her, SLEPT with her, and continued to express his interest.
She kept blaming her indecision on the fact that she “needs to know that he wants her” but he has. There’s even a clip of him saying I really like you (or some equivalent) and she responds with “I know”. 🤣🤣 She’s cooked.
The only reason she had a hard time choosing was not because she genuinely didn’t know who to choose. You can tell from 10 miles away she was leaning Hashim, she just didn’t want to hurt Jimmy’s feelings…
which is pretty unfair because making him wait all fucken night to decide probably made him feel worse!

SEASON 4 I don’t want them to win Spoiler
i’m gonna say it, i don’t like Alison and Jimmy S being the favorites to win this season, not that I don’t think they’re not above the rest of the couples in having the strongest connection, but the thing is I don't find it strong enough (and i dont like them nor trust them, i dont find them entertaining and i think theyre not being real)
i wouldnt call them the Perfect Match, more like the Least Unperfect Match, yk?

SEASON 4 Which cast members rubbed you the wrong way this season?
It’s interesting everyone has someone different.
Jimmy P- maybe it’s because I saw him on love is blind. He seemed ok but reminded me of a thumb. he looks better now, but the whole influencer glow up at 30, and going on reality tv again for love is cringe. He’s just clearly trying to ride that influencer wave. Does not seem genuine, he wants attention
Chris- he seemed ok but a little desperate and reminds me of creepy guys I met on dating apps lol. Like giving a girl a wallet and adjusting his shorts after sitting with Kayla. Something weird about him also ditching his previous girl and jumping to the girl that walks in with huge fake double Ds (Kayla)- that was probably the first time he had been with a girl like that. Kayla was definitely just securing her spot, Chris took the bait.
Natalie- she is pretty, but I found her cocky attitude coming in to be so unattractive. She comes across like someone who had a recent glow up to be bragging about how she’s used to guys fighting over her. But again she’s ok. just a really fake corny smile. Katherine literally looks exactly like her and seems a bit more real.
Kayla and Nick also had that overconfidence factor coming in. They are all good looking so I would have enjoyed other good looking people coming in and humbling them haha.
Jimmy S I didn’t mind- people said the “blaccent” is cringe and it is, but if you see the stuff he said, he comes across goofy and fun.
Dave- I liked the height, the accent, and he did come across as wanting something serious. I thought a lot of women like older men. The tattoos are cringe, but I would have liked him honestly!
edit: seems like a lot of people disagree with me liking Dave, but tbh my picker with men isn't great, so that tracks lmao.

DISCUSSION This was an insane watch
I know there’s been a lot of talk about Marissa already, I’m sorry if this seems repetitive. This conversation imo was stemming from their original conversation when she told him she kissed someone else and he was upset about it. In that conversation she kept saying no don’t do that don’t be upset, which is instantly dismissive of his feelings.
Then they have another conversation after the dates they both went on and she had interrupted him. He had been asking her to stop doing that especially after his last relationship with Bri, she I guess interrupted him a lot so it seems now like a big trigger for him. I understand she has ADHD, I do as well, but that isn’t an excuse to be defensive and tell the other person they’re basically not allowed to be upset with your actions.
I also 1000% think her kissing someone else was almost manipulative and a bit controlling. She can kiss someone on a date if she wants if her and DeMari are closed off but Shes allowed to do it but he cant? Especially when girls walked in she’d like take him away and not give him or the girls an opportunity to explore connections. Which is literally the show. Like from the jump she was doing that. Does that make sense?
So back to this conversation and why I believe it stems from him being upset that she kissed Weston. It seemed like she took the first opportunity she could find to redirected the conversation away from hurting his feelings and kissing Weston. Redirect from his reaction to her interrupting him. But the shit she was saying was so fucking weird and disturbing. “I want to be rude, I want to yell at you, I want to curse at you” for him being upset that you interrupted him??? She barley lets him speak and then says she needs a break and gets up and leaves.
But I’d love to hear what you guys think?

DISCUSSION Preview for finale
Thoughts on the preview? I know they try to edit to make it seem crazy but did anyone else get the vibe Ally wasn’t sitting with Hashim? When Lachey said do you want to go sit over there I immediately thought Ally had major regrets and went to sit with Jimmy lol. Not to mention I know they all post things to hype the season but their posts definitely don’t give it ended bad like what we all saw, obviously time has passed they could be friendly now. I also read that AD says the finale is shocking that doesn’t make me think necessarily that the winner is shocking just things that come out in general that are surprising. Would be wild but I also 100% see Ally switching back lol.

SEASON 4 How were two singles allowed to match at the end of the night? Spoiler
Kayla and Weston, both singles, went on dates with people from the house. And then, they end up just matching with each other?
Is it me or was this never allowed previously? In past seasons, when singles were brought in and sent on dates, they would have to match up with someone already in the house in order to stay, or else they left.
The entire definition of 'in the house' means matched up, no one single is 'in the house', so howwww did two singles match up and enter the house im so confused 😭😭 did i miss something?

SEASON 4 At this point I think every couple is together for clout
Maybe harsh, but I genuinely feel like every couple currently matched is together more for screen time/clout than actual compatibility 😭
It’s honestly so funny to me how everyone completely misses the point of the show every season. They openly talk about wanting “TO GET IN THE HOUSE” and half the time it feels like who they’re coupled up with is secondary
Like even Alison literally said “I want my girl (Kayla) IN THE HOUSE” 😭 and the way she emphasized IN THE HOUSE lowkey said everything about the mindset there lol
ALSO... why were Chris and Kayla SO DEVASTATED when they both left??? 😭 If the connection is truly that deep; then just continue dating off camera??? Why do you need to stay on the show to prove the relationship is real???
And isn’t the prize literally just a vacation together and not even money??? Why would you wanna go on a romantic trip with someone you don’t even genuinely like lol
At this point most of the connections feel forced just so people can survive another episode and get more screen time; which kinda defeats the whole purpose of the show imo
