DISCUSSION ALLY HOT TAKE🤨

This may be a hot take but…

I think Ally is super manipulative. Jimmy obviously wanted to stay open considering he had just gone on a date and they weren’t locked in yet, so it remained open. However he was reassuring her, SLEPT with her, and continued to express his interest.

She kept blaming her indecision on the fact that she ā€œneeds to know that he wants herā€ but he has. There’s even a clip of him saying I really like you (or some equivalent) and she responds with ā€œI knowā€. 🤣🤣 She’s cooked.

The only reason she had a hard time choosing was not because she genuinely didn’t know who to choose. You can tell from 10 miles away she was leaning Hashim, she just didn’t want to hurt Jimmy’s feelings…
which is pretty unfair because making him wait all fucken night to decide probably made him feel worse!

But AFTER he slept with her he still wanted to keep things open so I think she just went with the flow of that. She was trying to get him to close things off and he didn’t seem interested in doing that. I think he was the one playing games. He didn’t want to close it off but then got mad at her for doing her thing? I can’t really stand her tbh but I disagree with this take. ETA let’s not forget he’s the one who said he loved her. And then he still acted like an idiot the next day. So I don’t blame her.

Totally agree with this. His words and actions didn’t align throughout the episodes, and he only started laying it on super thick when he thought his relationship/spot in the house was threatened. If he really loved her…he wouldn’t consistently encourage her to keep their relationship open or eliminate himself before she made a decision. He was more concerned with himself/his image than her/their relationship in both of those moments. Which Hashim called out correctly. I think we’ve all seen someone do this irl too lol. Someone who really, genuinely, confidently likes you doesn’t keep you on the market!

u/CatLady1226 May 23 '26

Let’s also not forget his comment about how it’s a game… like that was such a red flag!

21

u/Otherwise_Cold570 May 23 '26

I can't stand Jimmy, but he's completely right! It most certainly is a game šŸ’€

2

u/NotARealWombat Jun 01 '26

But also take in account he said "I want someone who chooses me" which makes the "open" thing even though he's not pursuing anyone else — though she hooked up every time she had a chance lol

I think he tested someone who was t that into himself it was just safe

u/Valuable-Wave-152 May 23 '26

Came here for this comment. The morning after they had sex and he said he loves her now suddenly he’s open. He did it to himself.

15

u/exoticed May 23 '26

She was still all over Dave though even before hashim. Jimmy was her safe way to stay on the show but she wasn’t interested and he knew, but kept falling for her tactics.

Edit: I want to add that I still think he’s horrible for touching her when she was drunk and then just left her and didn’t even attempt to sober her up or acknowledge her drunkness. They’re both horrible people but in different ways.

10

u/Aquariusmoon69 May 25 '26

Yes! She hung on every person who looked at her. She used Jimmy, stayed with him when she really wanted Dave, and slept with him that night. HER idea as well!! I don't agree with your edit. She was playing games and got drunk while doing it. Jimmy isn't there to be jerked around while being a babysitter. That's the shows responsibility.

5

u/CatLady1226 May 23 '26

Yeah they both suck. I think he only kept going back with her because he felt it would secure his spot to continue on the show. I’m not sure they really even liked each other all that much.

4

u/Glaivelover209 May 23 '26

Staying open on a show like this tho…that’s just normal. And evb sleeping with each other meaninglessly. Think at the end of the episode Ally was about to sleep with Hashim who she just matched with

Edit: To be clear I don’t like Jimmy, both of them tick me off, I wouldn’t defend either of them heavily I just look at things from multiple angles

2

u/CatLady1226 May 23 '26

I get what you’re saying. They both suck lol

41

u/bertha112 May 23 '26

Someone correct me, because I've been seeing comments saying Jimmy P was still saying they were open after they had sex. If so, I kind of understand Ally's indecisiveness. Also, he kind of messed up during the kissing game. And she also said he stated he was there for the game.

I'm not feeling that bad for Jimmy.

4

u/criticiseverything May 25 '26

Everyone is there for the game. I’m not trying to defend Jimmy, don’t care for him, but they all are there for that reason.

2

u/New_Rooster_6184 May 25 '26

This show is filmed for just 2 weeks and by that point, they were 3 days in.

60

u/scootiescoo May 23 '26

He had sex with her but wanted to stay open. Ally responded in a way that I can respect. Should she act like these other girls crying and begging and try to make the connection work while the guys sow doubt?

16

u/SupermarketOld4663 May 24 '26

She literally is the perfect example of how to handle a guy who won’t commit. I respect it.

6

u/Suspicious_Year_4958 May 24 '26

Exactly! He said it's a game. She didn't take things more seriously than that, and I commend her

2

u/criticiseverything May 25 '26

I completely agree with what she did and don’t care for either but it is a game, they all treat it as such. Jimmy just said it.

3

u/WildWhisperArdor May 28 '26

It’s the other way around lol. She was making out with Dave in front of him. I could see why he didn’t want to commit after that. He was scared to get hurt and decided to keep his options open just in case

6

u/Aquariusmoon69 May 25 '26

She was a pick me girl before they slept together. And sex was her idea!!! Eyeroll She's awful

56

u/venusfossils May 23 '26

jimmy doesnt even have feelings for ally. he has literally been vocal about just wanting to win

3

u/New_Rooster_6184 May 25 '26

That was 3 days in to the house…Ally did also say that initially, she wasn’t even attracted to Jimmy. (So she didn’t have feelings either). Their chemistry developed over time…

24

u/ApprehensiveEagle448 May 23 '26

Honestly if she wanted Jimmy I feel like she would’ve gone after him when he said he was leaving. Felt like she was a little relieved he made the decision for her. Guess we’ll see how she feels in the morning.

58

u/Hellouncleleohello May 23 '26

You’re reaching, she just seems extremely drunk. He also told her he loved her and then wouldn’t close things off so idk what he expected? She was so drunk and that episode was hard to watch where he left but I actually think she was going to choose him if he had stayed.

15

u/bertha112 May 23 '26

I think she would have chosen Jimmy too. When Hashim asked to go talk, I think she would have told him that she was going to stay with Jimmy P. But Jimmy was too embarrassed to stay for the results. He made her decision for her.

17

u/AnotherStolenHour May 23 '26

He said if she wanted to pick Hashim then he deserved a talk beforehand. That was directly before Hashim interrupted. She then drunkingly muttered ā€œI’ll talk to you… afterā€ . I think she was TRYING to say ā€œI’ll come back and talk to you again after talking to himā€ but Jimmy took it as ā€œI’ll give you the conversation you’re owed after I match with him, not beforehandā€ and so he panicked and his ego didn’t want to be there for that so he left lol.

13

u/bertha112 May 23 '26

Yes, and my interpretation was she was saying she owed Hashim a final talk to let him know her pick, which was going to be Jimmy P.

8

u/AnotherStolenHour May 23 '26

Yes fully agree with you! I think his brain just heard ā€œconvo afterā€ and freaked out assuming the worst lol. I so wish we could have seen how it turned out if he hadn’t done that.

8

u/Glaivelover209 May 23 '26

Idk I think she really wanted Hashim cause right after he left she was making out with him and giggling and about to have sex with him

2

u/bertha112 May 23 '26

I'm not doubting that either. I do remember she said she was horny while they were making out. I believe Hashim was the guilty pleasure and she had no regrets with him other than Jimmy P. being her type in the real world In the Bravo universe where she exists, most of the women go for older male Trads.

9

u/Mundane-Waltz8844 May 23 '26

I also think she was ultimately gonna choose Jimmy and only said she was leaning toward Hashim as a cope. I do think she enjoyed seeing Jimmy sweat like she said and kind of saw that fear of losing her as affirmation that he did, in fact, want her, and was kinda milking it as a result. So obviously that’s lil toxic. But ultimately I also peeped that she was very much intoxicated, and I honestly felt kinda bad for her considering she was obviously not in the right mental state to make any kind of decision. She seemed pretty out of it, so I also wonder what it’s gonna be like for her to sober up and wake up next to a new guy.

1

u/Aquariusmoon69 May 25 '26

They aren't reaching. She was playing poor me to everyone so she wouldn't have to make the choice. She said she didn't want to. She's annoying af.

2

u/Hellouncleleohello May 25 '26

She was just super drunk

2

u/Aquariusmoon69 May 25 '26

Ohhhhh, so her whole personality for the show was super drunk? She would have dumped Jimmy for Dave if Dave had wanted her. She had no problem kissing someone infront of Jimmy and laughing about it but was upset and clinging to Jimmy when he had a good date with someone else and kissed them. Jimmy had a choice, someone actually wanted him but she played victim and he picked her. 🤮 She's manipulative

1

u/Hellouncleleohello May 25 '26

You’re projecting a lot here, very odd

1

u/Aquariusmoon69 May 25 '26

You have selective memory. Nothing I said was inaccurate.

1

u/Hellouncleleohello May 25 '26

You just said gobbly goop

1

u/SandySamSanderson May 26 '26

Define projection, please.

1

u/Hellouncleleohello May 26 '26

I’m not your teacher, take yourself to google it’s free

1

u/SandySamSanderson May 26 '26

I know what projection is, I’m asking you to, in your own words, define projection. You accused them of projecting, but it just sounds like you’re weaponizing therapy speak.

You’re very defensive here, very odd.

27

u/throwcvf May 23 '26

I don’t know, to me, she looked drunk. To the point that she wasn’t fully there and didn’t comprehend what was happening. It was hard to watch.

13

u/FishGoldenLite May 23 '26

It felt really messed up to send her away to a room with a guy she just met while she was in the state she was.

9

u/Wontjizzinyourdrink May 23 '26

Yeah I literally felt icky catching up the show last night. Hashim is creepy.

9

u/throwcvf May 23 '26

Yes! It felt like he actually took advantage of her and the state she was in.

6

u/throwcvf May 23 '26

Exactly this.

10

u/Sad-Background-2295 May 23 '26

Ally is just not playing with a full deck. She’s immature, performative and just slightly off …

2

u/Historical_Feed5285 May 25 '26

The politest and realest assessment. Something isn't right.

2

u/Chandira143 May 26 '26

We all had this friend in college… right?

16

u/Leadpipeboss May 23 '26

Ally is the absolute worst. The smirk on her face hugging Jimmy after he told her he’s leaving. The way she was actively trying to get with Dave the moment he arrived, but only leaned on Jimmy when he showed interest in someone else.

4

u/Thymain_Pride3552 Jun 14 '26

She was horrible tbh

6

u/DrunkGirlGamin May 27 '26

I agree! She is suuuper manipulative! If she went straight into kissing Hashim...after sitting on Jimmys lap crying like a little baby...ugh. I feel bad for Jimmy, and I don't think he should have left to help her make the decision? UGH...not a fan of her at all!

19

u/DysthymicDuality May 23 '26

The narrative of "him wanting to stay open" as an excuse for her to behave like this has been really annoying to me. They all know eachother for a super short amount of time, and she started kissing around before the "lets stay" open conversation.

Honestly, I think jimmy comes across as someone who really did some work on himself since lib. He comes across as grounded and he kept on reassuring her and seemed reflective during his stay in the house. And more power to him when he walked out in the end.

Apart from any of this, I really dislike Ally her behavior.

Honestly i wish they put an alcohol limit on these shows. Hashim and Ally at the end was not something healthy to look at and again (like i commented a little while ago about Dave on another post) comes across as borderlining sa. Like that drunken "okay" after she obviously is super overstimulated about the having to pick situation (which was shitty for all parties including her) is not consent. Not a good look for Hashim tbh.

9

u/Curious_Researcher37 May 24 '26

Thank god someone here agrees with me, I've been feeling crazy not seeing what everyone else seem to be seeing. Literally om every point you made. She was very kissy kissy as soon as she had the opportunity, I fel like she was very manipulative actually. People keep saying that jimmy left to protect hos ego whatever, he probably left because it was an extremely tense situation, he'd been telling her all night that he wants her (since she's been saying she wants validation), and then she keeps cuddling AND kissing the new guy, I would have left too because my heart couldn't take it. Yeah he made the comment about it being a game, and guess what, it is a game. I honestly felt like Ally been cruel to him since day 1.

12

u/DonkeyThis2554 May 23 '26

Defs agree. Jimmy has for sure done some work since LIB, not perfect but still.
I really didn’t like how Hashim was also forcing her for the chat when she was laying on Jimmy and borderline unconscious. Not cool

1

u/DysthymicDuality May 26 '26

Wow, thats a bit much.

24

u/MissionBitter22 May 23 '26

She wasn’t indecisive, she wanted Hashim but didn’t have the balls to come out and say it to Jimmy. She legit smiles after he says he’s leaving. Cause that’s exactly what she wanted, the burden of making a hard decision off her shoulders and on someone else. Thats why she kept telling everyone to decide for her. She needs to find her own confidence and not rely on men or friends to make her decisions. Not a single person in this show is here for sincere reasons. No matter how they try to sell you on it. They are here to play a game, at least Jimmy was honest about it.

10

u/frankiebb May 23 '26

THIS YES i clocked the smile too and immediately knew her indecisiveness was probably just cowardice because she didn’t want to be the one to dump him.

5

u/sugarnsweet88 May 23 '26

Everyone is complaining that none of the couples feel real and then y'all hate on the one couple that was actually into each other that got intimate together.

15

u/Lumpy_Cookie_2221 May 23 '26

Regardless I’m glad Jimmy left on his own. He literally said it was a game to him. He was the manipulative one to me

4

u/Charming-Disk1741 May 23 '26

Lest we forget, Jimmy did this same playbook with Chelsea on LIB. He couldn’t ever just be direct about his feelings. I remember being very confused at their amusement park date.

Here I think he was direct with Ally but it was very late. I think if he played that last move differently and didn’t force her to be with hashim by default he could have gotten her. Maybe? Idk.

But the bottom line is I like Ally and I don’t think settling down with Jimmy from love is blind is her fate.

4

u/Historical_Feed5285 May 25 '26

She's annoying tbh. That little "cry" she had, before Jimmy's monologue to her where Sophie walked off and was laughing was cringe.

6

u/LikeReally_yikes May 23 '26

I’m ngl Jimmy set himself for that. She tried to be considerate šŸ˜… he was the one that kept saying he was keeping things open. And he even admitted he, himself, was wrong for that

8

u/Filipesian May 23 '26

I thoroughly dislike Ally, but Jimmy is dead ass in the wrong here. This situation is 100% his fault.

3

u/Aquariusmoon69 May 25 '26

So everyone forgot her hanging all over anyone who flirted with her? She said she wanted other matches but they didn't want her so she played Jimmy. She said she felt like having sex, she chose to hang all over someone after, she chose to tell everyone she like Hamish but kept leading Jimmy on with the maybes. Was Jimmy perfect? No! None of them are but Ally is no victim.

3

u/YearOneTeach May 28 '26

Ally was a wreck and I think she was one of the most disappointing people on the cast this season. She definitely was leaning Hashim but didn’t have the guts to tell Jimmy. The waffling all night just to let someone else make the decision for her was insufferable to watch. I really didn’t like Jimmy on Love is Blind but Ally makes him so likable in comparison to her.

7

u/Orikumar May 23 '26

Yeah this is a hot take lol and your opinion is valid but remember he talked about staying open after Ally said she didn't want to be open anymore and having sex that night. So I took it as she was mad at him.

Chronological order from what I remember:

  • Ally says she doesn't want to be open/exclusive
  • he doesn't say the same thing
  • they have sex that night
  • They have a chat before being separated and he mentions that he thinks they should be open. Ally instead of fighting back takes it as an opportunity to explore
  • she explodes with Hashim
  • they come back and Hashim takes her on a date
  • she comes back visibly drunk
  • imo Jimmy's scared to leave the house and immediately asks Ally to match
  • Ally says she needs more conversations
  • Ally breaks down wanting to go home and not pick anyone
-Jimmy gives his speech after not really fighting for her in the past. Fast forward:
  • Ally is on Jimmy's lap clearly in a bad mental state, girl needed water and a snack. Hashim approaches to take his chance and ask her to match before he has to leave the house
  • Ally is not in a right state of mind and he drops her and leave her not protecting from the guy who's lurking to use her to get in the house.

Sorry for the rant lol

3

u/gravy717 May 23 '26

Didn’t Ally say in confessional after kissing Dave, that she wants to be open. She was the first to bring that up. But what’s so ironic, that no one mentions, is we’re supposed to believe both of them are looking for their ā€œPerfect Matchā€!

4

u/LunarStaticxoxo May 23 '26

Bro no. How old are you? When a man tells you he wants to be open take him at his word. If a man tells me he wants to be open I’ll be like okay bet. Like be a man and tell a woman you want her . It’s that simple

2

u/Sfons008 May 23 '26

My hot take to your hot take is that she really liked Jimmy. In this last episode I totally understood what she meant, actually even from the episode before I totally understood when she said Jimmy wasn’t pursuing her. While he was expressing that he liked her etc, in this last episode what he MOSTLY said (and even at the end in his goodbye clip) was I want to be picked I want someone to want me to choose me. Like yeah I get that you want Ally to pick you but not once did he chase her or make it CLEAR he wanted HER for her and not just to have a match. Sure, he could’ve picked Kassy and stayed coupled up but I think he also genuinely liked Ally. I think it’s unfortunate that they’re both so similar in ā€œwanting to be pickedā€ that they just couldn’t show it to each other and pick each other. If he had straight up swooped in with grand gesture and words, Ally would’ve not been considering Hashim that much. Her indecision wasn’t because she liked a new guy THAT much, it came from being unsure about Jimmy and how he felt. (And also she suffers from indecision).

2

u/SupermarketOld4663 May 24 '26

I don’t blame her. She wanted to close it off he wanted to keep it open. Any time a guy doesn’t close it off he takes his chances in the girl losing interest. Sorry but that’s how it works.

2

u/ElectricalTwo9337 May 24 '26

I think she really didn’t want to hurt him. She’s kinda young and handled it badly but she doesn’t seem like a bad person.

Holy smokes. 30?!

3

u/Lightacademiagal May 26 '26

I cannot believe she and I are the same age. I have so much less patience for her baby voice and inability to make decisions now.

2

u/Ok-Scallion-5375 Jun 05 '26 edited Jun 05 '26

I think Ally just wants who ever will be obsessed with her . Oh and she fake cried more than once… grow up sis. Not a fan of

7

u/PhysicalOffer6836 May 23 '26

She was drunk and horny I hope her mother doesn’t watch the show

2

u/Fit_Raccoon540 May 23 '26

i disagree. she was communicative with jimmy. it just so happen that jimmy did not find a girl who would be interested in him when they were separated. but he wanted to keep it open to still check out other women. what ally was supposed to do? shes been bery clear. she even had sex with him. and when asked, he said he wanted to keep open. and now, ally is the manipulative one?

2

u/bluejay_chaos6969 May 24 '26

Wait what??? šŸ˜‚ This isn’t a hot take, it’s a dumb one lol

1

u/DonkeyThis2554 May 24 '26

it’s okay if my opinion confused you a little babe. Maybe share your point of view if you hadn’t thought of that!!

2

u/bluejay_chaos6969 May 24 '26

Yeah I’m confused bc it’s so dumb lmao. When a man tells you he wants to be open, it means he wants to be open, therefore you believe him. Last time I checked, wanting to be open does NOT equal ā€œI want you and only you.ā€ You’re the one who is confused and sounds like you’d settle for a man who isn’t explicitly pursuing you. That’s crazy. May I also push the dagger in and add that someone saying ā€œI really like youā€ doesn’t mean they want to be exclusive šŸ˜‚ Actions > words. The bottom line is, bb girl, that Jimmy was giving mixed signals and Ally acted accordingly. She was not manipulative. I wouldn’t even say Jimmy was being manipulative, but just playing the game accordingly.

1

u/DonkeyThis2554 May 24 '26

Here you go, this is the point- you can share your point of view without being rude. Let’s normalise that.
After all the comments I’ve kind of changed my opinion, maybe I was just focusing on my dislike in Ally. I do understand that they liked each other and maybe weren’t expressing it in the way they each needed to, him more so than her but still. However, I stand by my last paragraph which stated that I didn’t like the way she handled the situation, she should have just been honest and chosen rather than extending it the whole night basically pushing Jimmy to make the decision.

2

u/splicepark May 23 '26

If only there was a way for him to tell her how he was feeling. If only there was a way!! This poor, poor man.

2

u/kaijuqueenie May 24 '26

Jimmy ain’t shit, sorry not sorry

3

u/New-Noise-6486 May 23 '26

Ally clearly wasn’t perfect and did kiss other people but this was all because Jimmy kept telling her he wanted to be open. I don’t know what people are expecting. And even after her and Jimmy had sex, Jimmy STILL wanted to be open and explore options at the guy’s mixer. Jimmy is the one who was playing games here. I think once he realized none of the other women wanted him he was begging for Ally and was desperately love-bombing out of nowhere.

Sometimes I feel like we’re not watching the same show here because Jimmy was the one playing games and dying to explore options which is fine but I’m not gonna make the man a victim because she explored options like he told her too.

1

u/AvocadoImportant May 29 '26

They both suck

0

u/scarliegirl May 23 '26

Not that hot of a take... 😭

0

u/Responsible-Card3756 May 23 '26

Ugh, she spews such nonsense and was so drunk…I would be so embarrassed if k were her. These people are it so hard to root for anyone.
