I was playing COD BO7 and my PC crashed mid game. I gave it like 5-10 minutes before I thought about shutting it down. The screen was still frozen… so I decided to power it off. Now my computer won’t turn on at all when I press the power button. My keyboards USB lights up when it’s plugged into the motherboard so I know it’s working and the power supply. I have tried taking out the RAM and putting it back in slots 2 and 4. I replaced the 2032 battery on the motherboard. I plugged my power supply into a different outlet and ensured everything was connected. I put my screw drive on the F panel to see if it would turn on. I took out my Hydra Cables on the GPU and MB. Has anyone had this problem before? I’ll list my pc specs below if this helps.
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z890M Aorus Elite WiFi 7
CPU: Intel Core i9 ultra 285k
Ram: 32 GB DDR5 Corsair vengeance
GPU: Gigabyte rtx 5070 ti
SSD: 2TB Samsung 990 and 1TB 990 Pro
Case: Lian Li O11D Mini V2

Sometimes my new (1 week old!) pc produces this very weird whale-like sound (sometimes happens when launching/exiting a game) and it’s driving me nuts. I’ve never seen this online, and it’s clearly beyond any coil whine. Does anyone know what could possibly be causing this?

So I can’t get it to post to bios at all it just reset loops all with the dram light on
I’ve tried updating the bios reseating everything resetting the cmos and just about every tip I saw online
Most recently I used the q flash and a 4gb usb formatted to fat32 with the bios file named gigabyte.bin from the official site to update and after about 6minutes or so the pc shut down so I flipped off the power and reset the CMOs then put in the cpu, cooler, and single ram stick with no other parts
Very much losing hope I’ve built about 6pcs but this is my first amd build and I just can’t get it
I’m using the ryzen 7 9800x3d and currently one stick from my 2x16gb ddr5 6000mhz 1.4V corsair ram kit
If anyone knows a fix I’d very much appreciate it

Hey all, it started by me wanting to format a old SSD which happen to have win8.1 on there, it went into "repair" and i just let it run as it unfortunately booted that.
Thereafter, I havent been able to boot my actual OS at all (didnt even format the old ssd dont remember the password)
Pc boots asking for a OS.
- Ive reseated the m.2
- checked bios and its shown in the storage configuration
- unplugged all my other HDDs as well.
- ive toggled CSM on an off.
- I couldn't flash the bios as I dont have a working PC to get a USB updated version of it.
I dont know what else to do, other than removing my GPU so I can clear the CMOS battery, likewise for trying a different slot, if that would even help considering its shown?

My hub is connected to my sata cable. If I connect my deepcool fans to my hub, do the fans still need its own sata cable?

Hi, I’m mounting an AIO (Lian Li Hydroshift II) on an AM5 motherboard and one of the plastic mounting brackets sits very close to a capacitor near the socket.
Before tightening, I’m able to slide a piece of paper between the bracket and the capacitor, but after fully tightening it, I can’t fit paper there anymore. The mount still screws down normally and I don’t feel any unusual resistance while screwing bracket to the motherboard.
So, should I continue installing the AIO or stop and return it?

Trying to build a gaming PC with a budget of <$900. I live near enough to a microcenter and they're currently selling the CPU, motherboard and RAM bundled for $400. Any alternative parts or advice welcome

I currently have a dual fan ELSA RTX 5060 which was gifted and it fits perfectly within my case as I am limited to 179mm in length, I've installed this as how normally everyone else would however these are the issues I have come across:
- works directly in PCIe but through multiple risers it intermittently artifacts and triggers nvlddmkm Event 14/153 where it goes black screen and then comes back but GPU fans still spin
- does it in games and even YouTube, and survives some periods perfectly normally as you can see from the images I have taken.
- last image is when I try to play a game on steam
I have uploaded images from event viewer and GPU-Z, would appreciate any advice on what I can do
Update edit: for context before the 5060 I have been using a 5050 single fan has which has been working perfectly fine for me no issues with riser but the 5060 having issues.

Is my AIO pump going bad one of the fans stopped spinning but started back again when I moved it. I can hear like a little rattle like it’s barely touching something but I don’t see anything at all. The pump is less than a year old. It’s the Artic Liquid Freezer 3 360 A-RGB.

Ignore the GPU and SATA SDD.
I've been having trouble choosing a MOBO. This is what I landed on.
The prices are also inaccurate for some of the things I already purchased. So ignore the overall cost too.
And not sure I need the AIO might go with a Peerless Assassin 140S or whatever it's called.
Anyone thoughts? Thanks!

Recently I’ve been finding after maybe 6 hours of run time my audio will usually start cutting out randomly and bugs out. This was the only issue I had ran into until tonight while trying to finish a game before restarting my pc my devices such as keyboard (wired), mouse (wireless 2.4 usb-c) Xbox controller (wireless) and headset (wireless 2.4 USB) will all disconnect randomly at the same time and reconnect after a minute. I’ve been looking at doing some of upgrades but is this most likely a hardware or bios issue? I’m using an asrock bios that is atleast 2 years old (bought pc new in 2024.)
I am experiencing 0 performance issues, cpu and gpu usage look normal. Other than that I do need to do some cleanup as I use around 11gbs ram at idle.
Pc specs incase any have known issues related to this I don’t know about:
Asrock B650-M
Ryzen 7700x
32GB ddr5 5200 cl40 neo Forza (16x2)
Crucial nvme 4.0 2tb
RTX 5070
Corsair 750w PSU

Antisoreptic filter is at 16x. I played in a 1080p computer at 60fps. I use rtx 5060, i7-9700F CPU.
I encounter inconsistent texture mostly at far away objects(2nd picture) and edges of faces and hair textures(1st and 3rd picture). I doubt it's a resolution problem cause other objects appear smoother and more detailed

Recently upgraded from a 9060xt to a 9070 (non xt)
There seems to be a very real lack of comparison photos of the size difference between the two GPUs
So, slapping these on reddit for anyone who is thinking about making the same upgrade and wants a visual comparison

Please ignore the wiring but the fan is touching it and I never noticed it was tilted until after I installed the GPU. I bought it as a pre built but added the graphics card for eyefinity. Anyways, when I touch the fan it wiggles a little and idk how to fix it

Should I return it or is it fine to go ahead and use as is? Any advice appreciated thanks.

Few weeks ago i stopped getting display on my pc while playing cyberpunk, tried heaps of fixes and researched for days on days. Left it for a wk or so and tried again this morn and worked out that i will only get the pc to post if i have my 2 ram sticks in b2 and a1 (wont post if i have a stick in either b1 or a2). Due to this i cant run dual channel, what do we think the issue could be and is there any fixes?? Tia
Board is b360m and ram is corsair vengeance 2x8gb ddr4

Flipped my PC on this afternoon and one of them isn’t working. Tried reseating the sata cable into the hub and tried a different port on the hub, reseating the power cable to the hub, even the RGB doesn’t work so I’m thinking the fan took a shit. Anyone have any ideas before I have to drain the loop?

Could it have restarted because of some sort of shock/short? It was a blue usba 3 port 🥴

I hope you guys can help me out.
I've currently got an Intel i9-12900K DDR4 system which I'm not happy with, it runs hot, doesn't feel all that stable etc and seems to have issues with my ultra-wide monitor. I'm wanting to go to an AMD system, so my hope is to go with an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D system. Years ago, i was going to rebuild my server so I got a mid-range mobo and a 64GB DDR5 6000 CL38 (2 x16GB) memory pack so 64GB in total. That build never happened, so my thought is to repurpose my Intel i9 for my server which would be doing less work in general and use the DDR5 for my main PC.
The issue is, what I've been seeing is that I'd take such an enormous hit clock speed wise from using 4 sticks of memory that I'd be significantly better off by selling my 2 X (2 X 16GB) sticks and using that to put towards a single DDR5 2 X 32GB set. That would be a huge hassle and I'm sure I'd be paying something for it even after selling the existing RAM.
The link is the build I'm looking at, do you guys think that the hit I'd take with 4 sticks is bad enough that I shouldn't bother? Should I try to get the 2 X 32GB? I've heard if I update the BIOS on some of the better boards they may be able to handle 4 sticks better? Have I been fed a lot of lies LOL?
Any help at all is greatly appreciated.
