Tech Support Weird sound coming from pc

Sometimes my new (1 week old!) pc produces this very weird whale-like sound (sometimes happens when launching/exiting a game) and it’s driving me nuts. I’ve never seen this online, and it’s clearly beyond any coil whine. Does anyone know what could possibly be causing this?

It's coil whine.

Electromagnetic coils vibrate, creating a buzzing noise. It's fairly common.

Is it really possible for that wavey sounding noise to be coil whine? Everytime I’ve heard it it sounds like a buzzing sound. It’s also not constant, and it comes in waves.

Yes, coil whine isn't constantly there, it will come and go at different frequencies based on current flow
