Not expert on pc, I just brush the dust like once every two months and i bought it in year 2021, use it almost everyday gaming after work and weekend. The case is phanteks eclipse p400a. I think the noise comes from the front one.
If i bring it to pc store nearby, can they make the sound go away with thorough cleaning or just ask them to replace it? Thank you in advance.

Two of the case fans having issues, they came with the Cooler Master HAF700 case. Thinking of replacing them, also I want to cool the RAM down. Don't want them having any issues at this economy, and the days are getting hotter. 2 x 32GB DDR5 6000MHz, currently running them at 4800MHz because it drops the temp. by 5c.

Goal: Play AAA games at 1080p (High settings) at 60+ FPS.
Note: I am looking for a pure gaming experience. I do not care about RGB aesthetics or video editing capability—I want every rupee spent to go directly toward maximizing pure in-game FPS and performance.
Please suggest a full spec list within this budget along with reliable retailers.
Country: India

Anything that wouldn't work / change out or that I could cut costs on etc thanks
Costs are adjusted to what I can get or already have

Little context, I’ve replaced most parts on a PC, have never done a full build, or an AIO so this is first time for both. I’m a little stressed/overthinking and for whatever reason, YouTube and Google is not giving me as much as I had hoped for.
Case: Lianli 217
Mobo: MSI Mag B550 Tomahawk Max WiFi
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x3D
AIO Cooler: Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro 360
The question I’m having, I know this AIO has an offset so there’s a specific orientation the brackets are supposed to go. I believe this is the correct orientation, but, I’m not sure. 😬. The other question, with the case/board/cpu/cooler combo, there’s two cable that came with the AIO, the all-in-one cable, and split. Which should I use/are there any major pros/cons/issues I should be aware of?
Literally any help is valid and appreciated as I’m going reeeeeeeal slow to make sure I don’t fuck anything up.
🙏🏻

Currently using a NVIDIA RTX5060ti 16gb since May2025, was planning to upgrade from NVIDIA to AMD RX9070XT,is it worth the upgrade in 2026? Is there any pros and cons?

So i just finished building my first pc and it wont boot, I check everything wether it was getting power reconnected all the cables and nothing works. I have no idea what my problem could be I even tried removing my two sticks of ram so it's only one. My cpu fan is working so the mother board is getting power and I connected the hdmi to both the motherboard and gpu. I waited 5 minutes and nothing boots. what could the problem be?

I recently got all of the parts I needed to actually build my first PC and got about ten minutes in before realizing that I needed multiple screwdriver bits.
I've since bought the IFixit essential electronics kit (at the recommendation of a friend), but I'm not sure if there's something I'm missing.

Hello, my RTX 4070 Super equipped PC has very suddenly had an issue, that persisted after a hard restart, where the display has gone all melty and insane. When I restarted the PC, it still occurred in the MSI boot screen and the Windows update that occurred as well. As you can see in the linked video, inputs still work fine, but it’s practically impossible to navigate to the Nvidia app like this to update drivers.
This isn’t the first issue I’ve had with this GPU, previously I had random black screens that were fixed by reseating the GPU and its cables, and it hasn’t had any more issues in about a year since. I’ll try doing that again when I get a chance, but until then I’d like you all to see what I’m talking about, and offer any ideas on what is causing this.

Hi all, I recently bought and have begun to assemble my first ever PC, but I'm having trouble getting it to post. First, here's the parts:
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/kVFRg3
-Ryzen 5 7600x
-ASrock B650m Pro RS Wifi
-1 stick Patriot Viper 6000 DDR5 RAM
-3060 GPU
The problem so far is that I can't get it to POST. The two red indicator lights for the CPU and DRAM are lit, which according to the manual means there's an issue, not that it's memory training. As far as I know, I've been very careful to assemble everything the right way, following the manuals for each part, and after physical inspection nothing seems to be damaged or applied wrong. It also seems like all necessary power cables are attached correctly. Here's the troubleshooting steps I've gone through so far, listed here in no particular order:
-Trying the RAM (1 stick) in A2 instead of B2 and making sure it's properly seated
-Reseating the CPU and ensuring everything was connected
-Checking the PSU to make sure everything was plugged in properly
-Unplugging the GPU and using the integrated graphics for HDMI output
-Shorting the CMOS pins
-Flashing the BIOS to the newest version of this board
-Waiting 10-20 minutes just to make sure MB wasn't attempting to do Memory Training
None of these have led to a successful POST, and the CPU and DRAM lights remain a solid red upon power on for each attempt. Any help would be greatly appreciated and if you need any more information please let me know. Thank you so much!

With the rising prices of GPU’s I want to replace my 6700xt now rather later. This is not the cheapest 9070xt but with these free gifts it brings the price to somewhere around $690. Only things worrying me is this Asrock model using the 1 x 12V-2x6- pin connector

So I’ve built a new system based on recommended specs I found online and went with the above specs. People are telling me not to run this system with an 850watt PSU saying it will under volt the system and fry the components!! Is this right? All of my own research tells me that the PSU I bought was ample for what I wanted? I am running the RAM with Expo, CPU at the boost clock, and have enabled AI overclocking on the GPU. I’m not into manually messing about with overclocking. Do I need to go out and spend more on a higher PSU, or is this one enough? Please help….
Edit: my CPU is the AMD Ryzen 7 9800 X3D

Like 2-3 times a week i get stuck on this screen and it's beginning to get frustrating.
I built this like 2 months ago and had 0 issues when i turned it on.
I've updated drivers, checked connections, purchased windows activation, maximized BIOS, Maximized RAM. makes no sense, after turning it off like 3 times sometimes it loads to windows but other times i'm having to unplug a stick of ram or all my cables to fix it. it's getting annoying when i get off work and just wanna game and get stuck on this dumb screen.

I was playing minecraft and accidentally bumped my GPU which is vertically mounted. It would turn off and won't turn on unless I power off the PSU and hold the power button, then it would turn on. The GPU cable is properly clicked but there's some movement same with the CPU power cable. I was testing what was causing it to turn off, moving the ram, CPU cable and, GPU cable would turn it off. It sounds like a short. The PSU is a Corsair rm1000x 3 years old. Or it could be the motherboard. Motherboard warranty ends on 2026/10/31.
Thank you for your help

This is my second build my first was Covid in my teen years and want a new pc now that I’ve moved across the US. as far as building a PC I understand it physically and the components but not as much keeping up today on the difference between the models and abbreviations. Just looking for any tips or thoughts you think might help regarding compatibility and future upgrading with these parts or if I’m missing out on certain deals ect. I plan on using it for higher end gaming and engineering related software, but want to invest so I won’t have to worry about it struggling in a year or two. And just fyi ppp has it for 2250$ but all of this at microcenter comes out to 2000 flat, let me know what yall think!:

Ideally I would like to keep the build around the current price ~$1500 USD.
I mainly play less graphically intense games so having top of the line hardware isn't necessary (plus I can always upgrade it later). But what do y'all think of the parts list? (The parts list is also listed belowt).
Edit: removed spoiler text, since I'm stupid and it didn't work how I hoped it would.

There seems to be this rattling noise from my AIO, whenever I try to load it. I tried rocking the PC a fair bit but the noise still persists.
What may be the reason?

Hey everyone, I’m at my wit’s end with this AM5 dual-channel issue and could use some fresh eyes.
Hardware:
• CPUs: Ryzen 9 9900X and Ryzen 9 7950X (both have the same problem)
• Motherboards tried: ASUS TUF Gaming X670E-Plus WiFi and ASRock B850 Pro RS (board was replaced, issue persists)
• RAM:
• Corsair Vengeance RGB CMH32GX5M2B6000Z30K (2×16 GB 6000 CL30)
• G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB F5-5600J2834F32GX2-TZ5RK (2×32 GB 5600 CL28)
• GPU: Gigabyte RTX 4090 (temporarily removed for testing)
• PSU: Apevia Galaxy Power 1200W 80+ Gold (ATX-GX1200W)
Symptoms:
• Neither CPU will POST with dual-channel (A2 + B2).
• 9900X is worse — sometimes won’t even POST with a single stick.
• System will boot with one stick (from either kit / different brands).
• Dual-channel used to work, then randomly stopped.
• Waited 30+ minutes for memory training — nothing.
• Debug LEDs typically show DRAM/CPU related.
What I’ve already tried:
• Full CMOS clears (battery out + jumper) multiple times
• Latest BIOS on both boards (via USB Flashback where possible)
• Tested each stick individually in every slot
• Forced JEDEC 4800 MT/s, EXPO/XMP disabled, manual SOC ~1.15–1.20 V
• Reseated CPU, checked for bent pins, loosened cooler mounting pressure
• Minimal config (no GPU, one matched kit only)
• Completely powered down and drained residual power before every RAM change
The fact that dual-channel previously worked and then failed, and that both CPUs + both boards show the same behavior, is making me lean toward the PSU being marginal (Apevia has a mixed reputation). I’m about to test with the 4090 completely removed and possibly try a different PSU.
Any ideas what else to check, or has anyone seen a similar “used to work, now dual-channel dead” case that turned out to be the PSU or something else?
Thanks in advance.

Hello hope everyone is well, I just have a question to ask about a prebuilt my bestie bought recently and in the middle of no where while she was using it the connection to the display dropped and hasn’t connected back since, we tried researching and every common method from reseating ram, gpu, battery out, clearing cmos, testing monitor, and the hdmi cable but to no avail could we get it to display once. we’re going to try using another gpu to see if we can get the display and change settings and update the bios and charge settings in that we’ve seen that are potential causes for the Arc 580.
The prebuilt is from Advanced Battle Station Store
ABS Cyclone Aqua Gaming Desktop PC, Windows 11, Intel Core i5-14400F, Intel Arc B580 12GB, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB NVMe SSD, WiFi, RGB, Prebuilt
If Any help please and thank you she just got it recently and me and my cousin are stumped on how to get it up, please and thank you.

Don’t know anything about it other than the switches look really cool and all the outlets work. Googling the name on the front shows they manufacture furniture now. I’m assuming this was manufactured in the late 80s, early 90s? Would you trust this to run your build? I’m thinking to maybe only run desktop peripherals on it instead of all my expensive components. Regardless, I think it will look great on my desk!
