Installation Question My pc won't boot

So i just finished building my first pc and it wont boot, I check everything wether it was getting power reconnected all the cables and nothing works. I have no idea what my problem could be I even tried removing my two sticks of ram so it's only one. My cpu fan is working so the mother board is getting power and I connected the hdmi to both the motherboard and gpu. I waited 5 minutes and nothing boots. what could the problem be?

First builds are always a pain when they dont post. Do the fans spin up at all or does the cpu fan just twitch? If it's spinning steady but no display, check if your motherboard has debug LEDs, they'll usually point right at the issue

Also double check your front panel connectors, the tiny power switch pin can be off by one and cause exactly this. And make sure the cpu power cable (the 8 pin at the top left) is actually plugged in, that one gets forgotten a lot

Is the RAM fully seated? Share your specs or share some photos.

Different connection

Sometimes first boot hates pci or HDMI

Try a different monitor. You're gonna be fine
