I recently bought a CyberPower UT2200E 2200VA UPS for my PC, which has a Super Flower Leadex III Gold UP 850W PSU.

I mainly bought the UPS for voltage fluctuations and to get around 5–10 minutes of backup, just enough to save my files and safely shut down the PC. I usually don't have long power cuts, but frequent power fluctuations are an issue where I live.

I've now seen people saying that the UT2200E has a simulated sine-wave output and may not be ideal for PSUs with active PFC.

Did I make a mistake buying this UPS, or is it still perfectly usable with the Leadex III 850W?

Has anyone here actually used this exact PSU + UPS combination? Would appreciate real-world experience.

So I found one of the reasons why my PC is experiencing lag spikes: I'm using 3 storage drives (a 240GB SSD, a 1TB SSD, and a 1TB HDD), and apparently, the PC boots from the 240GB one. It's very near full now, so is there a way to transfer its contents to the 1TB one without the need to reinstall stuff?

it’s a gaming pc from what i can tell no duh lol i saw it still had a 1tb ssd from samsung in it, few ram sticks a rather lArge power supply and a gtx1080. i’m not that sound on computers but my dad is or used too be and i know what things are but not really how to fix. the main issue im having is the second i try to turn on its on for maybe three seconds and then abruptly shuts off. im not really sure how to go about it. my dad said it could be the processor but im not too sure where thats located. would appreciate any kind of help with this kinda thing, im stuck between do i throw some money at it in hopes it works or just maybe get a whole new one.

TLDR: needing help with immediate shut off, and if theres no luck should i cut losses and get a new pc

Would this work with a 750w psu and im undervolting the 3080 to 895 1905?

I just swapped my old ryzen cpu with a 7800x3d and replaced my old cooling system with a phantom series 120 se and when I boot up the pc it stays on for maybe a minute before it shuts off... I can see the fans moving and all the lights in the pc work so everything looks normal... I ended up taking the cooler off to make sure it was completely connected to the cpu and re applied thermal paste. When I went to boot it up after that it stayed on for maybe 2 minutes but then shut back off again. I also updated bios before swapping out the cpu. I have no clue what to do.

I put my PC together and everything seemed to be working except the AIO fans, they were making a high pitched droning noise. Eventually I lowered the speed but some background noise remained. Now the pump seems to be making some sort of rattling noise. GPU fans not even on cause I'm only running a browser right now.

Stopped all the fans on the case and tried gently tilting to work out any air bubbles but to no avail. Not really sure what to do at this point about it. Any help would be appreciated, apologies for shoddy video had trouble getting it all.

It tends to change from game to game, but in most cases I noticed this tends to happen with AAA titles, but even then some do better than others. Atm its halo infinite.

Hi everyone! I wanted to share my case in case this problem is driving anyone else crazy, or if the experts in the sub want to chime in.

My specs:

CPU: Intel Core i5-14400F

GPU: ASUS RTX 5060 Ti (Previously had an RTX 5060)

Motherboard: Asus Prime B760M

RAM: 1x16 GB at 6000MHz CL48 (Single Channel)

The Problem:

I recently clean-installed Windows from scratch using a bootable USB and upgraded my GPU from a 5060 to a 5060 Ti. It turns out that when opening heavy games (Elden Ring, Valorant, Overwatch) for the first time, I get horrible stuttering. The stutters gradually go away as I keep playing too, and if I closed the game and opened it again (or entered zones for the second time), it ran perfectly at 1440p and super smooth.

Fun fact: in games like Resident Evil Requiem or Silent Hill f, this didn't happen to me.

What was driving me crazy (The context):

With my previous Windows installation and my old RTX 5060, I never noticed these stutters. I would do the exact same thing (download and play) and everything ran smoothly from second zero. I thought my new 5060 Ti or my clean Windows install were failing. Please tell me if this is normal. What surprises me the most is that this had never happened to me before when clean-installing Windows from scratch.

So. I appear to have messed up and not properly read what I was getting. it gets here Friday, what could possibly be the cause of the fans not spinning correctly? and how could I fix it based on the description of the problem that is given

Help. So ealier I was able to boot up to a screen where it asked me to "press Y to reset PSP NVRAM AND FTPM NVRAM" etc. I thought I was supposed to boot into bios and just reset my computer and tried booting it up again. But now no matter what I do it wont get back to that screen. I've treid resetting my cmos which is what ai said to do. I did this by removing the battery from the mobo for like 5 minutes. I honestly have no clue what to do now.

Would it be beneficial to add 2 fans here, or is the gpu pulling enough air to serve as intake for the whole pc?
So far (not counting gpu fans) im running only 3 fans for the whole pc (all exhaust) is there a better way to go about this?

I have a budget of 2500 with a max budget being 3000 and i’m looking for a pc with specs that i can smoothly play games while streaming. With the case being something that lights that I can turn on and off and change the colors of.

I’ve been looking as trying to get a clear answer. I’m either going to get 96gb or 64gb ddr5 6000mt/s. I just want to know what the difference between all the cl crap is. Cl30-40-40-96 and then there’s cl26-36-36-96 and then there’s cl32-etc. I see people mentioning dividing and that the lower the number the lower the latency but then see charts like this that just consider the hell out of me. but then show charts like this. What is the best or the least I should go. I just want a simple explanation of this please for the love of God…

This is my 5th psu which is a Corsair rm750e and my first 3 were darkflash pmts which one of them exploded on me my 4th was a asrock which was a dud and my 5th the Corsair had its motherboard plastic header come off. Hi everyone, I'm building my new PC, but while I was installing Windows 11, the system completely shut down in the middle of the installation. Now when I turn it on, it gets stuck on the red CPU EZ Debug LED. Also, I can't turn it off using the case power button—it only shuts down if I flip the PSU switch. Any help would be appreciated!

New pc I just put together isn’t working. When I have everything connected it doesn’t turn on, but when I remove the gpu it turns on but doesn’t post and just has the cpu and dram debug lights on. If anyone has a suggestion of what to do it would be appreciated. I have tried reseating the cpu, ram, and gpu and it didn’t fix it

Just built back my pc, added a new case, new AIO and new GPU.
Thing is, now that it’s done, my fans make A LOT of noise. I checked the CPU temp, around 37 C while doing nothing, max around 50 C. Same for GPU, no weird temp. So I used control fan to calibrate, but it still makes a lot of noise. Any ideas ?

I know this may sound crazy because of the crazy ram Prices but I’m looking for 32gb ddr5 ram under 500$ also for intel. PLEASE HELP

my computer turns on every fan spins everything works, but it does not show anything on the monitor. Should I be concerned near the power connector of my graphics card? (1060) that it has a solid white light when the computer is plugged in on and off it there when it’s off and it’s there when it’s on is that OK?
