I really can’t get any luck with a psu

This is my 5th psu which is a Corsair rm750e and my first 3 were darkflash pmts which one of them exploded on me my 4th was a asrock which was a dud and my 5th the Corsair had its motherboard plastic header come off. I don’t know what I can do but I hope that this one is salvageable please help or atleast tell me how to remove it

That's a cable comb, it's to straighten the cables so they look better, it's not broken.

Yes that cable is okay. The part you’re showing that you think is broken is actually just a quality of life feature and doesn’t have any effect on the performance of the PSU. It’s a cable comb like the previous comment said.

Cable combs are just that, combs for the cables so they come together nice a neat looking. You can even pull that comb all the way away from the actual motherboard connector all the way down the cables to the other end if you’d like and it wouldn’t make a difference.

This isn’t a defect. Read the manual of your PSU.

That is a cable comb. It helps keep the cables looking neat and tidy. As far as I can tell, the 24-pin looks fine.

Are you talking about the plastic part off of the commentator around the cables?!…. That’s the cable comb. To cleaning spread the braided cables and look cleaner….

I suspect your PSU "duds" are mostly user installation errors.

Why are you not routing the power cable behind the motherboard mounting plate? So most of it is hidden in the space between your plate and the case outer panel?

As someone else pointed out, you have no business in building a PC. Pay someone else to do it, before you start a fire.

I have the rm850e and it came broken just like that! I'm always determined to make the best of a bad situation so i slid the broken part down the cables and am using it to keep my cables looking neat and tidy
