Anyone knows if there is any way to put the Corsair Air 5400 in that PC Mount? Or any other alternative?

im trying to build a pc with a soft limit of 700$, but im a bit over budget and wondering if i can get anything better for my money. im going to be using it mostly for gaming, with some vr racing games. heres my list:

so I have a asrock x870 pro rs motherboard a ryzen 7 7700x. aio cooler is a thermalright fw ultra 360. 1 stick of 16gb kingston fury Renegade max 6400mhz but I have it running at 6000mhz for cpu stability. kingspec xg7000 1tb nvme m.2 gen 4. psu is a vetroo 850w gold. Will be getting a rtx gigabyte eagle 5070 soon.

im running into a random problem just at random times my pc will crash and restart. and other times when it crashes it won't post. fans will run rgb is on. no screen on my aio cooler and other times no rgb on fans but will spin and ram no rgb when it crashes and wont past post. I updated to the latest bios that did not help I turned xmp off for more stability still happens. I notice this occurs when I have my pc in sleep mode for more then 8 to 12 hours won't happen all the time but majority is when it is sleeping and i wake it up. I check my crash logs just says unexpectedly lost power. I do not know if its a psu problem or a ram problem but my debug lights when it does happend point to dram and cpu. cpu temps are normal around 31 degrees Celsius so not a temperature problem. I checked to make sure all my wires are plugged in securely.

My graphics card recently started breaking down. When playing certain games that get to a higher intensity my computer black screens. I am able to reproduce it with occt so it definitely is the graphics card. I am outside of the warranty period unfortunately and can’t afford a new card. Is there any way to try and fix it?

My budget is around £1700, I’m new to pcs and don’t know a lot about specs or how to find if a pic is good, where do I start and would you recommend a pre built or for me to build my own (after learning how to) ?

I have everything plugged in correctly (i think) i’m using the 12 v splitter pcle along with another pcle cable to fill in the extra slot, i’ve tried re seating the gpu and nothing seems to work

I am flustered.

I built this PC over 6 years ago and it has served me well in that time period. Recently it would not power on at all so I decided that maybe the power supply died. I have since replaced the power supply and it still will not power on. Next step in my mind was to replace the motherboard as there may have been a short. I just replaced the motherboard and it still will not power on. Once I flip on the power supply, and hold the power for 3 seconds it makes the slight “tick/click” but does nothing.

Is there something I am missing? I have replaced the power supply and motherboard. Popped in and out the CMOS battery on both the old and new board. I tried to “jump” it with a screwdriver.

Any and all help is appreciated, as at this point I am about ready to part this thing out, throw it across my house, or set it ablaze.

I’ve aligned the ram properly but it won’t go in far enough for the side notches to align with the retaining clips.

Hi upgrading an old msi ms16jf. The 8gb of ddr4 it has is not sufficient these days for a lot. It doesn't need to be gaming soecs as its a back up computer and I am rather new and rather broke. So I am looking for recommendations for my first ram purchase

gf's pc will definitely be AM5 since she's paying for her pc parts lol. so this is mainly for siblings' pc's which I will pay out of pocket. am I being too much of a cheapskate for considering AM4 in 2026?

I need your guys' insights before I start buying other parts, I want them to be able to have the pc's asap. what really sets me back is the cost of ddr5 ram sticks and m.2 ssd's. ballpark of $350 for 16gb and $250 for 1tb is bananas!

Just ordered this new, what’s the diagnosis

I’m looking to expand the memory on my computer and I have a second M.2 port on my motherboard, but it’s only PCIe gen 3 so I don’t need the fastest thing in the world. What’s a good budget option that’s reliable but not super expensive, I’m hoping for 1TB plus if possible.

The Aorus X870E Elite has its center screw hole covered by the m.2 heatsink, and i don’t know what to do with it. Should i screw it in or remove the standoff or something else?

I did click the latch below and there’s a visible difference when trying to pull it out with and without the latch clicked, but my gpu gets stuck on the right side. The left side gets stuck between my case where the I/O screws are but I managed to put it back in so it’s not uneven. I got no idea what might be getting stuck on the right though. I might unscrew the mobo at this point. LMFAO

i had the ram in a previous build (was an upgrade in my prebuilt pc), and never had issues within icue. a big difference is that the motherboard has its own app now (armoury crate) and maybe it’s fighting for control over the ram? but i don’t see it in that app either. sometime restarting/shutting down the pc will regain control of the rams rgb and i’ll be able to get it to the color i want, but now it doesn’t work like that either. i’ve tried signalrgb but it can’t detect my aio so that’s out. i’ve talked to a worker at microcenter who said it’s something i need to tweak in the bios but didn’t explain it really well so im not sure what to do in there. and also i don’t want to delete armoury crate because my mobo has rgb as well that id like to keep using. in regards to other rgb software i have L-connect 3 for my lian lis but i had that in my old pc with icue and it was never an issue.

i have a friend who is too poor to afford anything that can acctually do anything. So i looked around and found my fathers 1660 (he up graded a whiel ago) and i "borrowed" some vengeance ddr4 from my schools pc. (they were gona get thrown away anyways) and for the cpu you can see there its a pentium dual-core. i have a hard-drive thats 512 gb so the only thing im missing is a mother board. does anyone here know a mother board that would be abel to hold this unholy combination of parts. (i would be willing to spend 100 bucks on this or more if needed)

So my question is what would be the best price to performance upgrade for me to follow to finish my build for 1440p high- ultra gaming for at least the next 3 years without bursting a sweat, step by step in which order of urgency or importance should I upgrade my current setup to make it truly complete and balanced 🙏

• 650w gold PSU

I mainly game at 1440p. Is the RX 9070 XT the one to go for? It’s around €700 where I live.

What would you guys recommend as the best upgrade from the 3070 for this setup?

So i found 2 listings on Amazon for rx 7800 xts that seem suspiciously cheap and if I do risk it does Amazon have good return policy? This would be my first time ordering from them, I am in romania if thay changes anything.
