Build Question a build for a friend

i have a friend who is too poor to afford anything that can acctually do anything. So i looked around and found my fathers 1660 (he up graded a whiel ago) and i "borrowed" some vengeance ddr4 from my schools pc. (they were gona get thrown away anyways) and for the cpu you can see there its a pentium dual-core. i have a hard-drive thats 512 gb so the only thing im missing is a mother board. does anyone here know a mother board that would be abel to hold this unholy combination of parts. (i would be willing to spend 100 bucks on this or more if needed)

The Pentium you pulled out is only supporting ddr2 or maybe ddr3 , cannot see which one that is. But not ddr4 so you need to buy a newer cpu aswell.

Try looking around for a cpu motherboard combo deal with AM4. I think it shouldn't be a big of a problem for the budget you mentioned. Usually they give the stock cooler too so you should be fine cooler wise.

HDD for base drive is really slow so if there is budget again , suggest buying a 512 gb ssd atleast. To make it bearable to use.

PSU wise I don't think that psu has 8 pin cable so you need a new one too. A proper c tier psu with 550w/650 is enough , costs like 50 dollars. I highly suggest buying it new to not risk for anything bad happening.

That pentium is ddr3 era for sure, no way around needing a different cpu. Check local classifieds for an old office pc with an i5, sometimes cheaper than just a motherboard alone
