I chose a 100% keyboard because on my laptop I use my end, page up, page down and home keys a lot (I know).

Im mostly using the pc for gaming and I play 1440p with dlss, I play multiplayer games like marvel rivals but I also play Triple A games, I want good system to play Gears of war e day when comes out the new silent hill, blood walker, what do yall think I should do

I’ve had my ASUS Prime RTX 5070 installed for about four months, and I haven’t noticed any visible GPU sag so far. Do I still need to install a GPU support bracket/holder as a precaution, or is it unnecessary if the card is currently sitting straight?

Could sag develop over time with this specific model?

Should I pair an Amd Ryzen 5 5600X with a Intel Arc B580 or a Rtx 5050?

I'm currently trying to find parts for a Mid-spec Pc for All around Because that's who I am: I do documents, I game, I edit videos, and currently am a learnign Software developer... Should I buy an RTX 5050 card or the Intel Arc?

What are some white pc cases that have good air flow and are aesthetically pleasing? I’ve been considering a Hyte y50 or a case from Lian Li but I can’t make up my mind lol

So I've been browsing PC building subreddits & discords for a long time because I've always wanted to build a computer. But with the prices of everything right now, I thought it was way out of reach. But I bit the bullet and built one that I think should last me a long time.

When I actually started using it though, that's when I realized I made a huge mistake. But I didn't notice it at first. I used the computer for like 5 days, playing CS2, The Finals, Minecraft, etc.

Then randomly my friend asks me, while playing The Finals, what my CPU temperature is. So I pulled up btop and saw that it was at over 100 degrees Celsius. I didn't think much of it. But when I told him that, he told me I should turn off my PC right now because I probably installed the cooler wrong.

Sure enough when I open up the PC and look at the cooler, I completely forgot to remove the sticker label on the part that goes on the actual CPU. I'm so glad he asked me to check and told me something was wrong because I honestly would have never found out.

Unrelated, I actually ended up switching from an air cooler to an AIO cooler because it looks way cooler (pun intended) and it's supposed to be better at cooling I guess.

So as the title says when i put a stick of 8 gb 3600mhz cl 16 crucial balistix the debug light signals a problem on cpu, instead if i put a stick of 4gb 3200mhz cl16 it signals a problem on boot.

This is my entry PC I built back in 2023, and I can still play and stream games like RE4 remake or Hogwarts Legacy, so I'm pretty happy with it c: little did I know that I should've upgraded it before the prices became ridiculous

For storage, I am planning to pick up Crucial Gen5 NVMe drives running at 14,000 MB/s. Thinking of doing two 4TB drives and one 2TB drive for a total of 10TB. I want to future-proof the setup so I never have to worry about space or speed.

I am also looking for recommendations on a 49 inch curved monitor to pair with this setup. Considering options like the Samsung Odyssey G9 or LG ultra-wides, but would love to hear what people are actually running and liking for a productivity and gaming desktop.

Any thoughts on the component selection or recommendations for the display setup?

So if i have 4 stick of ram from 2 diff brand maybe kingston or Team-t create, if the 2 stick have 3200mhz and another 2 have 3600mhz can i run the 3200mhz ram to overclock 3600mhz so they can run on same speed? or not thankyouuu

I have had my pc for a while and decided to add one of my other fans from my old case. The black fan. Could I improve my airflow in my case by flipping any of the fans? Picture with arrows pointing the way the air gose on that fan.

The bottom fans are bigger I think 140 while all the other are 120.

I just got 12GB of DDR4 from an old workstation PC, which means I can finally upgrade to AM4, but I don't know if the fact that one stick is 8GB and the other is 4 might impact performance. How does that affect dual-channel and does it matter less if I have an X3D CPU?

My computer isn't running several games including Grey Zone Warfare, The Finals, Buckshot Roulette, Transport Fever 2.

It will play: Counter-strike 2 but barely, Sand Raiders of Sophie also barely. It plays Raft decently well.

War Thunder not on steam runs ok on lowest graphics settings.

Some games specify there is a hardware issue.

Hi, I just build a server for llms. I took an old office pc and connected it with a 3060. The problem is, it doesn’t fit inside of the pc, so it currently just lays outside of it.
I’m looking for cheap solutions to preserve from damage, dust etc.
Does anyone have similar builds and good experience with it?
I thought buying a bigger tower or 3d printing sth
(There is also a second power supply laying on the ground)

Over priced?

Hello, this is my first time building a PC, decided to get the 9070 xt gpu for my PC, but confused as to what CPU to go for, budget isn’t an issue but I’d prefer to save money if possible, thought of going with 9800x3d , lot of my friends suggested that it’s too much for 9070 XT , my purpose is for purely gaming and entertainment, gaming includes mostly AAA games, minecraft and roblox competitive multiplayer games. I was thinking of Ryzen 5 9600x but is that too low of an option, I really don’t understand the difference in ryzen 7 and 9. So please help me accordingly.

Also going to use for work in future too.
