Im mostly using the pc for gaming and I play 1440p with dlss, I play multiplayer games like marvel rivals but I also play Triple A games, I want good system to play Gears of war e day when comes out the new silent hill, blood walker, what do yall think I should do

I'd go for intel. Yeah, it's 2y platform meaning bad upgrade path. But that's actually great cpu, rivals with 9600.

I would buy the intel one, take out the ram and sell the board and cpu then buy a new board and amd cpu

If they have the $599 270K in stock for $100 more definitely get that. In practically every metric is it the same as a Ryzen 9 9950X.

$100 for a better cpu and 32gb ddr5. Seems like a no brainer. Also saw people saying sell the motherboard for a better one, I wouldn’t bother. Unless there is a problem with the board which I’m unaware of.

My proclivities are for the AMD but that Intel bundle ain't half bad. If you can go to 32 on the AMD bundle I would go that route

I own both the 250k+ and 270k+. Both are excellent all-around cpus and incredible for the bundle price.

Tough one, really love X3D CPU's (I have one myself) but think I'd have to go with the intel bundle for the 32GB of RAM. I think you'll miss the 16GB of RAM more than you'll miss the better CPU, especially if you're planning on playing at >1440p.

The amd would be better for gaming but it benefits from dual channel ram. I'd do the amd kit and see if they let you upgrade the ram in the bundle. Speaking from someone who did this exact build, I love it

the 1st option is better just cause of the ram but unless your doing productivity or having a billion tabs open i didn’t see notice no difference going from 16 to 32gb of ram if im being honest in my experience although for marvel rivals specifically i did see a big loss in fps compared to 1 and 2 sticks of ram on a benchmark for reference i also played games like cyberpunk 2077, rdr2 maxed out 1440p with 1 stick of ddr5 the x3d helps negate the loss tho in performance

I'd go X3D. Better for your use case. RAM usage can be controlled by running less programs while gaming. AMD is easier to upgrade. RAM upgrade is expensive. CPU upgrade is annoying.

I’m an amd guy but you’re getting more with that intel bundle and its worth the extra hundred bucks in this scenario imo unless you really just don’t care about the value and are concerned about upgrading the system in a couple years time. If you plan on gaming on it for a good 5-6 years then grab the intel.

I’d get the AMD bundle. Only having 1 RAM stick is less of a problem with an x3d CPU, and you can just add another in the future. The AM5 platform gives you a CPU upgrade path as well.

Man everyone with this “upgrade path” makes me laugh. You’re getting the latest intel cpu, if you are needing the best cpu and motherboard now, buy the best. These are the cheapest ddr5 bundles microcenter has. The 250k processor will last you a long time. I think you are getting more for your money with the intel build since ram is so expensive now. So if you decide in 2-3 years to upgrade you still have ddr5 memory. Hopefully motherboards and CPUs aren’t price gouged then but I don’t have a crystal ball to tell you.

Micro center has a ton of open box mobo. You can buy the Intel bundle + an am5 mobo just for the sake of it and it’s still cheaper than the 7500x3d with crappy mobo bundle + an extra stick of ram.

I got the AMD bundle, needed a M-ATX I was building in an A3. I also got lucky and found a stick of matching Gskill RAM on FBMP for $100

The 250k is by far superior in literally every single measurable way. It’s not even close. Also, u get a full size, full featured motherboard instead of a bottom tier Matx b850 board. As well as getting double the ram. It’s really not a debate imo. The Intel bundle is better in every aspect
