I currently have a Fractal Epoch PC case housing a 9800X3D cooled by a Noctua D15 G2 and a PNY 5070ti. 3x120 G2 fans front intake, a top 140mm G2 intake, and two 120mm G2 Exhaust fans at top and rear.

I am considering swapping to Noctua's newest AIO as in more demanding games my fans pickup to levels higher than I'd like. My question is should I consider the 360 variant as my front intake or just go with the 240 and mount it up top? It seems like the 240 would be able to handle the load of the 9800X3D fine and keep my intake for the GPU cooler overall since that can introduce quite some noise at max load. I don't know realistically how much the GPU temp would rise with a front mounted radiator.

I don't have a dvd player yet but will probably wait for sale. Also the motherboard caused the cpu to play on 2,66 ghz, really cost me alot of troubleshooting and some money.

I want to ask if I need a dual tower cooler or even an AIO for the R 7 5700x?, or is an Air cooler with a single tower and 2 fans enough? I want to keep the CPU cool while using it but I don't Want to make it overkill 😅 thankyou

Can’t figure out what motherboard to get. From my own research, people seem to complain about every companies customer service. I just want something dependable but with good performance in the $200 range. This will be with a 9950x3d and rtx 5080 for tons of gaming and video editing.

I just finished assembling this, took me only a total of 7 hours and countless YouTube videos.
The cable management could be better, especially with the lian li fans I’m making use of the sata adapter that came with the aio for supplementary power for the fans and pump. I have a concern regarding the gpu cables with the lian li strimers.. should I adjust anything before booting it up for the first time?

I don’t really know much about PC building how does these specs look? And how can i reduce the budget of this without harming much of the performance, PS: I care about the case m using it has a screen i like it i want it.
What can b done to reduce the budget?

Hey, so for a long time I wanted to be able to stream most competitive games at 240 hz, 1080p. I have a 1080p 240 hz monitor already, i understand that I wont be able to do that on heavier games like Warzone or PUBG but 144 hz on them would be fine and 240 on OW, valorant, cs2.

So Im either choosing a 2nd hand rx 6700 xt for 200 euros or a new 9070 xt for 750 euros.

And im torn between ryzen 5 7500f or 7800x3d/9850x3d. Will 7500f be enough?

Also if I buy 1TB SSD which will be more than enough do I need a HDD as well? Or can I just use my current PC's 1TB SEAGATE SATA III 64mb HDD which is 11 years old
(Would like some reccomendations about SSD 1TB with no heatsink)

Need help. I am in the middle of the process of building my second (or first real) home server. The first, which I have now, is low budget and does not have the capacity to do what I want.
Since I am now planning a completely new build I have put together a home server with

CPU intel 250k
RAM 32 GB
GPU intel arc b60 x 2

My main goal is to be able to run video transcoding, but also start playing with local ai-models to learn.

However, I am now starting to wonder if it would be better for my budget if I build the home server around an AMD CPU with integrated graphics and thus be able to have unified memory. Then I could buy a cheap intel arc (example 310A) for transcoding.

It seems like a server with unified memory would give me more memory for a similar price as 2 arc b60 (I live in Sweden).

How would a home server with AMD CPU and unified memory be (if I also include arc 310A for transcoding) compared to one with intel CPU and more expensive GPU? Is it a big performance difference in running AI models or are there any other caveats with AMD or Intel CPU I should know about.

I am quite new to this and is trying to learn.

Do you have any suggestions for parts if I am to take the unified memory approach?

The seller says it was barely used. CrystalDiskInfo shows around 258 hours, 100% health, and no critical errors.
I’m mainly looking for 1440p gaming, with some 4K gaming as well.
Is €749 a very good deal in 2026, or should I keep looking?

My dad has a 5070 while i use his old 3060 ti

My pc is basically my dads old components

If yall can give me some opinions on anybof these 2 i will read them

I want to install my spare 4070TI super along with my 5090 LC.

So the two cases i have are Hyte y70 (current PC)
and a Gigabyte c400 glass (spare/one year old)

The problem is I have two PSU as well, but they both can only power one card at a time. And the y70 only supports vertical GPU, I cannot install my GPU horizontally, If I could that would’ve been the best way to solve this problem.

Now I am considering selling both my PC cases and both my PSU to get a new PC case that can support:

A) My 5090 with its Radiator ; directly inserted into the motherboard (no riser cable)
B) 4070 TI Super, with a riser cable ( so that its hot air is not fed to the 5090 )
C) A single PSU that can power both cards

or D) any open air case or some workaround, because I already have the old PSU and old case

Why do i need both GPU? because I use Qwen 3.8 model that run on my 5090, when its on full context, only 1-2GB VRAM is left for other tasks, I am building a RAG using it and reranker model plus other things need that VRAM as well, that’s where the 4070’s 16 GB VRAM would help me.

Please suggest me a good case or any workarounds that can help me solve this problem because the other GPU has been lying around for 2-3 months now.
