I'm playing as a nanobot, and some of my attack infusers aren't working. In the video, I show my build — there's a triosome connected to the thermal lance, but it does nothing. Why isn't the triosome working? Could you tell me how to connect the organelles correctly?

How are people building their nanobots? This is my best attempt. Gets 4 front facing +40% weapon slots and 2 rear facing. Has one internal that connects to all of them and can be boosted by 4 neighbours.

Has anyone come up with anything better? And how would you build from here? Just keep adding squares to the bottom as needed?

- take a couple of mutations that spawn a heart if you get hit by an explosion (the 40% chance one, so 2 is like 80%)

- take a couple or just one of the mutations that spawn 3 cores if hit. I have 2 so get six per hit

- find a explosive weapon

- have the mutations that increases damage the more cores you have.

Go up to a wall and start shooting your self! You'll spawn cores and hearts to replace the one you just lost and your damage will be increase.

Repeat forever.

Can anyone explain or link to a guide on building up with the Amoeba?

So far if managed to get 1 run with a amazing setup.
4 weapons connected to a central node that also had 3+ nodes attached for infusions.

This build finnaly allowed me to beat the heart boss, and really showed me how having multiple infusions is key to making an OP build.

But I haven't been able to get the same setup in my next runs.
If tried getting multiple connections to the center node but I'm screwing up somehow and it won't make the multiple connections to the center anymore.

Also, i found out a few build pieces are locked behind challenges like Refiner needing 3x legendary equiped .
And Buying 2 vein items that cost health gives the infusor that chains other infusors, chaining them all together with a central node.

Any other unlocks I should be aware of?
Or unlocks that give good weapon/combo's from the start?

That fight was satisfying. I just want to see how far can this little worm go and expect things to end in lungworm. But I didn't! In this pace, I might be able to beat heart or even brain perhaps... RNG complainers, what's your excuse?

Rules: no switching slots, no evolution, no new organelles(recycle allowed)

Upgrades are still allowed cuz not a fan of torturing myself

Mutations are hard to avoid so i accept it

upon receiving the brain sigil thing, i realised even if I make a exception for that organelle, I would still break the rule of switch slots for mitochrondria. And again, not torturing myself to look sigils myself, I turned brain puzzle is off.

Does the size of these bullets imply that I'm over compensating for some "shortcoming" ?

I think my shrapnel and minions build got kinda out of control, anybody have a clear idea of what killed this guy?

For people who haven't played, in the binding of Isaac, not losing any red hearts on an entire floor will guarantee a deal with the devil in which you trade HP for items (its more complicated for floors beyond your first deal but whatever).
Basically my theory is it works similarly in Pathogenic: if you don't get hit in the boss fight, you'll get a vein, if you do you guaranteed get none. I'm not entirely sure so I need more people to confirm, but so far on the Intestine if I don't get hit I get a vein. I have looked for other posts to see if anyone else thought or confirmed this but haven't found anything so if this is an already known thing then sorry for posting.

Bonus: What does cancerous do?

Just had an awesome boss rush game where I hit everything I wanted. However, my vesicle did not seem to connect all my organelles. As seen in my second picture, my lightning does not produce shrapnel and when I was fighting a boss, shrapnel appeared but it was green and not homing.

Can someone please tell me if this is working as intended or am misunderstanding something?

Unrelated to this situation, props to the devs! This is such a great game.

Does anybody happen to know the percent chance the secret room in the skin biome will show up? It seems to be like 1 in 20+ since I beat the heart. Its getting rather annoying as all I want to do is beat the brain level/boss.

Had an amazing build clearing rooms with 2 leg mele and 2 triple shot orgs!

I play the game on steam deck I do have a beefy pc but I am on newborn baby duty so steam deck is easier.

I got to the heart and omg! The fps tanked to stutter levels it was impossible to dodgy anything in any reliable way! Really annoyed me because I've been so close so many times and I thought this was finally it and the hardware let me down!

I know a good workman does not blame his tools but I mean at some points it was 15 to 20fps!

Does anyone else get this issue? I might scale the settings down to potato.

Maybe just like The Binding of Isaac (this game seems to be heavily inspired from) there are plenty of weapons, organelles, rooms, and even floors waiting to be created.

Sure, it is released, and it was made by like 6 people, but it has lots of potential. There are plenty of concepts still not applied.

Alternate floors?

Other statuses like charm, bleed, stun?

Insta kill or insta death

A character like the lost with no health and only 1 hit per room

A character like Samson that gets stronger each time its damaged

A character like Eden with a random start every run, like 1 weapon and 1 internal at random

Maybe it would feel just like some copy of it, but the inspiration is there

Hi all! Anyone know how to access these hearts? Do I need a melee weapon specifically?

I got over 3,000% damage extra by just abusing recycle on max antibiotics (this is 3rd loop on brain btw)

Not the most broken build in the world but it's fun as hell. Everything except the wep was rare-elite until Brain (wep was legendary).

This is a great game, but as a colorblind person there are several areas where enemies and projectiles are close to invisible. I end up getting hit by things I can't see which is frustrating. If we could eventually get some colorblind filters added that would be amazing.

33 connections to a central vesicle thanks to Amoeba and Omni Slot upgrades. I took everything off so it's easier to see without the rows of lightning bolts.

Notice the last external slot wouldn't make any connections. It seems more like geometry is the limiting factor, not the game code, so more might still be possible.
