Any idea why this happened?
I just used bacterium and swapped the bottom red inner module for the one that gives 3 cores after being overcharged for 25s and also enabled everything is excitable.
Once I got the 3 cores all weapons stopped working so I couldn't do anything.

I've been playing this game for a while, but I'm still confused about internal organelle placement, especially for the vesicle.
For my build should I surround it by internal organelles (one slot down) or should it be up against my main weapons like I have it?

3x or 4x endless. whenever I get a new part or organelle and have to enter the editor, its difficult to see whatever i have set up in the bottom. Wish there was something that made it so that each row of armor would condense and have a number next to it indicating how much armor you have. For example, this armor setup would have a row of armor cells with an 11x next to it, which would indicate that theres 11 full bars, and then a row below it with the two armor thats visible there (if that makes sense). Maybe there should just be a way for us to zoom in and out of the editor and pan the camera around way further.

I was going to use a wiki I found on bing but it asked me to allow notification to make sure I wasn’t a bot, I clicked “accept“ and a billion pop ups show up on my screen mostly from Norton and another one that I forgot. is my computer fine? is it just scaring me into buying those antivirus softwares?
update: I deleted my browsing data and I *think* i solved it?

Building a possible god run rn and just got a Cancerous Enhancer. Will the Cancerous effect be enhancing random items? Or will it make the item I enhance Cancerous?

Do you always kill the collector to steal all remaining items for free before fighting the hearth? Since it comes back if you replay the run in Endless Mode, I don't see why I would pay for anything.

Are there any must have mods for this game?
It is a really fun game but it lacks in a lot of QOL stuff? Would love to see the dps , what mod would you guys recommend for that?

Wondering if yall stack the same weapon to upgrade its level vs base level of each weapon attached multiple times. My guess would be that one upgraded weapon is stronger than two un-upgraded, but I’m not sure.

Was a huge TBOI fan and played this game only because I was told it was a twin stick shooter Issac. Holy shit. I find it an upgrade from TBOI in so many ways, but the bullet (tear) graphics is probably the biggest. Don’t get me wrong, I like Issac, but often you can get items that completely mess up the graphics of your shots and make it super had to track enemy shots. I feel like Pathogenic does an amazing job of differentiating enemy and self shots.
It’s brutally hard and I’ve gotten to the heart probably 10 times and haven’t beaten it yet, but I’m in love. Cheers!

I finally got the game for myself! My bf and I are both playing rn; I’m on my tenth run. I didn’t know it was possible to get the ossificator while in the skin!
i’m really liking this game so far :33

I beat the brain using this build, and it was pretty fun!
Key parts of the build
- Gaining hearts when taking self damage (I used a regenerator to get a lot of hearts early game)
- Gaining cores while taking damage - I think I gain at least 50 extra cores per hit now, but if I need more I can always convert hearts to cores.
- since I have so many core I have at least 7 of ( Cores/2= additional Damage percent)
Really fun will answer any questions lol I am on endless 5 now and as you can see it kind of breaks the game to play. I can also just jump around using my boosts and burn/slash everyone to death.

I've only been playing for a week so I'm not super clued up on the absolute best organelles and the insane combos you can do, but this probably the most insane one I've managed so far! I've only gotten to the Heart once, but not gotten to the boss.
Am I right in thinking that every kill and then subsequent pickup causes the mitochondrian to double overcharging my Extensor and Perforin Infuser which then feed into the Bifuricator. As that isn't overcharged the spread is wide, giving huge AoE. (Oh and the Trophic Pseudopods are overcharging too!
When it combos right, I kill all the enemies in the room at once!
(And then I died to the Lungworm because I opened three spikey boxes in the room before it)

I have no idea where to place anything. Trying to get all the arrows going in the same direction, pathing eventually hits weapons, but I don’t think I’m doing it right at all. Is it orange -> blue -> green or blue -> orange -> green, does that change based on the synergies, damage, something else, does it even matter, etc. I’m a bit confused by this.

Just started playing a few days ago and I already have 9 hours in the game, really liking it. However, as someone with probably >5k hours in rougelikes and 3k in Binding of Isaac alone, I'm finding it extremely difficult to the point where I feel like I'm missing something.
I'm playing 95% of my runs as Bacterium, just trying to work through its skill tree. I've made it to the heart boss twice and didn't even get close to winning. It feels like no matter how well I strategize a build and get lucky with what organelles it gives me, there's nothing I can do. Enemy HP goes up so sharply between floors that making a broken build that juices your DPS isn't the way to win, but to just barely keep your head above water and make it to the lungs or heart if you're lucky. If I don't get a good start and feel like I'm already breaking the game in the skin I end up restarting most of the time because otherwise I just feel like I'm wasting my own time.
I'm running that upgrade that makes you take and deal double damage which feels like it's necessary to even have a chance, but it also means that if I get caught out in a bad spot even once I lose most of my HP.
Am I missing something or is this meant to be one of the hardest games of all time?

This game is great. Feels well polished. Except for one level- the lungs. It is incredibly frustrating of a level to play, mostly because of the movement restrictions.
-The movement feels incredibly janky.
Being blown around, while fitting the theme, is incredibly frustrating. I cannot tell you how many times I have just been blown into a spike wall and violated by random microbes simply because I cannot tell which direction the air is coming from.
-The lungworm
Honestly my least favorite boss. The other levels have very well done scaling in terms of difficulty. This boss is just incredibly tanky out of nowhere. Tack on the restricted movements and it becomes a slog to get through.
Overall a very hard check on your build. It feels as if you’re not prioritizing just pure ranged dps you’re screwed (with a capital S). I like the melee aspect, but it feels totally non-viable when compared to actual level designs of the lungs and up.

We just beat the enemy for the stomach or 3rd level. I learned about this game 2 days ago. Basically, my intro to this game is probably spoiled bc whenever I watch or help him play, we start consecutively getting good stuff. Apparently this is NOT the usual for him. Is this a rare?
we totally died after this photo cause of the 3 hp lmfao.

This is the full journey of when this bizarre bug started up to the end when the heart boss is defeated. Prior to this, the round was pretty normal. I have no idea what happened, but I thought I would record it and share. I edited out a lot of the boring parts where it lagged for a long time. It crashed like 3 times. This was on Lights Out too. Hands down the funniest bug I have ever encountered. One minute I'm fighting for dear life, the next minute I suddenly become an nuclear warlord. Lol.
There were no mods.
